Are y'all really complaining about being able to edit a build without having to start over whenever 2K makes something completely useless (a thing that happens 3-4 times a year)? Isn't this better than having to grind VC all over again or, worse, wasting an extra 50?

Am I understanding this correctly...in the demo you can choose your archetype, badges, etc. and then max out to a 99 and test it? But when we get the actual retail game we won't be a 99 right? Just have the same build?

This isn't just for the demo; part of the MyPlayer builder includes having the capability to select any overall and play a scrimmage with your player at that overall. So if you want to see what your guy will play like as a 90 overall, you can do that before you actually invest all your VC into them.

And once you're satisfied, then you start the actual MyCareer and you start as a 60 or whatever the starting overall is this year.

I am currently unable to DL the demo and test my theories.

Anyone would like to help me, I would appreciate it.

I would like to know if a 6'7-6'10 SF with everything in the 70s is possible besides finishing. Shooting, Handles, Defense, all around a 70. Finishing in the 80s.

I would also like to see a 6'3-6'4 PG with a high finishing (80s or so) with everything else being a 70. Defense, handles, and shooting.

Just watched a part of Shakedown's new video. YOU CAN HAVE A 90 FINISHING WITH A 90 BALL HANDLING.

Ok, nuff said.

That's my build.

Edit: he went with a 95 ballhandling and only got an 80 driving dunk. I would be somewhere along the lines of like an 86 ball handling to be able to "speed boost" but put the rest into finishing to an 85 and shooting to a 70.

This dope as hell, I've made 2 builds already.

but ngl I am disappointed that I only seem to make builds that get ball handling anywhere near what I want at 95 OVR +

Is this because of the initial archetype pie chart I've selected or is everyone else finding this?

Got the Zion/lebron build down. Max finishing. Damn near 90-90-90 speed-acc-str. Maxed defense. Great ball handling and playmaking. Just no shooting outside 65 midrange.

So wait are we allowed to make a bunch of builds? Or are you just jsust getting through the creation screen, seeing the player comparison and the ngoing back and redoing different ideas?

Don't like that if you want to be a defender you can't have a dream of a jump shot. I want to make a Kawhi/Kobe type that is good in midrange/finishing and defending with a serviceable 3. Seems if you want to be a defender its impossible to shoot though. Like I'd be okay if my max shooting was in the mid-high 70s, but 65? Smh

Edit: Nevermind, lmao. You can keep scrolling down and you can get a pretty decent defence/shooting hybrid

The video that that Cardi B writer published showed a build where the pie was evenly split between defense and shooting; gave him roughly 80s for shooting attributes and 80-85 for defensive attributes.

I was editing my head and accidentally clicked A an advanced to the actual build part. I can't seem to figure out if there is a way to go back and edit the face. Is there? Can i re-install the demo? Am I stuck until the game comes out?

I heard you get a total of 6 builds and that's it, can't delete them. So after the third one, what I did was just get to the player comparison screen, and hit the dashboard on that screen so it won't save. If you click continue then it'll start saving the file.
