Re: Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
You made the same PG build as me lol slashing playmaker? I’ll give you they can give you a little more freedom than that but In order to do that, they’d have to give you more total attribute allocation points for being a sf. That or give you higher starting caps in certain areas (which I’m not against). The reason your guard is a better finisher and all that is because you probably didn’t put much to interior defense and rebounding so you had more points to put everywhere else.
Yup a slashing playmaker who can shoot. Sounds pretty elite to me. Especially since I know how to play. You elite at one thing and good at two things. Meanwhile with a SF, you got subpar attributes.
SF just need higher caps. Hell I'll take away my cap for a 3 to put in mid range. Take cap away from my passing accuracy so I can have a 70 ball handling. Take cap away from my dunking to put in defense.

This not a ball idea.. At all. Leave the severe hit for 6'9 but going 6'8 should not mean bad dribbling when most of the SF in the league are around 6'8 and can dribble enough to not be bad but also not elite like guards.

Re: Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
This is the best I’ve come up with though it’s only 6’5 and probably better at SG. You can make a 6’7 Pure lock at SF but it’s not worth using a single point on shooting. Given that every will have 6’4 offensive guards, a 6’5 or 6’6 lock should still be decent.
A 6’9 Pure lock is a glass cleaner at the moment... You cannot guard the perimeter or the paint with it.

Made him a SF but I think in an online setting this will work better as a PF. 6’9, 235, default wingspan. Chose the lockdown takeover but could’ve been slasher or playmaker as well. Put nothing in his rebounding. 12 Finishing badges, 1 shooting, 7 playmaking, 25 Def/Reb
Edit: Attributes aren’t great at 90 but badges really helped. Seems like 95 OVR is goin to have to be the goal for most builds

Re: Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
I made one at SF. It came out to be a “Multi Position Defender”. However it was at 6’7. So when it comes to online play, I’m not too comfortable with guarding bigger forwards at 6’7. I prefer to be a little taller so I can have a solid mix of interior and perimeter defense.
I made almost the same build at 6’8. Can’t remember forsure if I used the same attributes. But it came out to a 2 way finisher. But in my mind he was a lock.

Re: Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
I make my first player a PF every year trying to replicate draymond and this year will actually allow me to do just that...to a degree. Last year I did a 6’9 sharp rim to start but made the mistake of giving him t rex arms for better 3’s. This year, no matter what I’m toughing it out with max wingspan hoping better shooting badges will counteract the ratings on 3’s.Comment

Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
I think I finally figured out a good enough build for my player at SF. Had to compromise on some shooting but I really think badges will make up for it.
80s in finishing.
75 in mid and 3(as you guys know a 75 3 was what I was looking for)
72 in ball handling
70s in defense.
6'6 sf. Max wingspan.
15 badge points in shooting and finishing which is 4 hof badges each
9 badge points in playmaking.
7 in defense
I kinda feel short at SF but I don't think too many people will be taller than 6'6 from 1-3
