A lot of people use fast release so there’s no real timing to learn it’s mostly used by button users so it can be damn near a light tap and green

I agree. When I my 2 Way Sharp in demo last week, it didn't even cross my mind to consider Quick Draw. I don't really care for super fast releases. I actually have a tougher time with faster releases because I rush off shots at times.

Yeah it's about sacrifice. You have to decide if a very fast release is more important than other shooting badges. For non Shooting builds, I think most might not even consider it. Or at very most Silver badge.

For quick draw it really depends on finding a shot I like in the full game and then finding the speed I like it on, I might not use Quick Draw at all or I might use it anywhere up to Gold. Once I find what I like though I'll use the same thing on every build because the consistency is key to shooting well.

If your timing is good there's no point of flexible release tbh. Might as well pick another badge that's going to be effective.

Flexible release pretty much activates on any shot that isn't green, so it seems worth it to me.

I didn’t have that same experience unfortunately . Unless my timing was way off

                I’m sure it’s a nice badge

But it's still good for those times when he doesn't. Not sure what's the argument here...it's his choice.

It triggered on this shot for me. Doesn't mean it'll always go in with Flexible Release obviously, but it doesn't seem like you need to be off by much to get it to activate.

Well this is not full white its considered a bad release by comp players.
                      2k18 fixes

Bigs can cover to much ground on defense(they are too fast)

Late contest on laups matter too much.

                      Random blocks doing pumpfakes.

Leaning shots for guys who have catch and shoot badge should be removed.

I imagine Flexible Release won't be used much by the elites; the badge was pretty clearly not created with them in mind.

Looks like you gapped it a bit so I can see why it would activate. If you're releasing shots like this often then yeah I'd say keep the badge. Could be super beneficial.

This. I don't recall seeing that badge pop up on full bars. I thought it was for the folks who had absolute horrible timing (bounce backs and early releases). I will have to pay more attention to it but as of now I see no need to equip it.

they did say penalties for timing become stricter the further you are.

Going for a Randy Orton build. 6'5ish with snake like tendencies. Might throw a few games on purpose if my teammates play better than me. A couple flagrant fouls outta nowhere as well. Mid-range and close game will be venomous.

It’ll come in handy when playing on those terrible servers.

Flexible release is perfect for high latency games
