It's definitely a solid build if you don't care about catching bodies, breaking ankles, or playing hero ball. I think it's capable, but I don't play like that. For me, I like playing below rim. I genuinely wish that I didn't have such a high driving dunk rating. I only did it that way, because it gave me more finishing badges.

Re: Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
I am a 82 6'8'' SF rebounding wing, unconventional I guess, I play Rec mostly, I love playing 5v5, and It's gotten better lately, it doesn't lag as much and the matchmaking seems to be better.
I play PF in Recs most of the time since people mostly create guards or centers, guards being the option number one, so I am the 2nd tallest guy on the team.
But l've been tearing it up a last couple of games. Double doubles, steals, blocks. I realized that you can influence the game on the defensive end in a big way just by being fundamentally sound. So lately I am getting almost one defensive badge a game by keeping my arms up, helping out, boxing out, rebounding, being the guy that stops fast breaks. You would say that an undersized PF who isn't athletic nor dangerous from the 3 isn't really useful but I feel like I am contributing big time even though I am not scoring a lot, I just love playing defense. I can make a shot, my 3 is maxed at 73, but I am not automatic, I'll probably score if you love me open, but far from being a sure thing.
That being said, I love this build, will make something similar in the next game, maybe put more points into shooting or passing instead of rebounding.Comment

get them contact dunks packages.
get gold contact finishing and get bronze or silver slithery.
you will make most 2 handed dunks unless its a rim protector with HOF badges contesting.
few will be able to stay in front of you and depending on the help defense you can get an easy bucket or kick it out to an open man when defenders start crashing.Comment

The goal is to get Gold Slithery, Advanced, and Contact with Bronze Acrobat.Last edited by ksuttonjr76; 02-11-2020, 11:56 AM.Comment

Re: Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
Originally posted by taro11I have a Sharpshooting facilitator pg but I can't shoot consistently so I think a shooter is not my type. And now I wan't to build a post scorer big man. I dont think that I use post fades much but as far as I read a big man should have some shooting ability so that can stretch the floor a bit. So I go with blue pie chart and my badges will be 26/8/9/12. I think defending can be a bit problem so maybe 7'3'' max wingspan will be a good choice. But I am not sure. Can i shoot okayish from mid range when open with 55 mid range shooting and 8 badges?

Which one is good? Or do you have any other suggestions?
Bad builds if you wanna play online

Re: Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
That's the thing. I don't care about dunking on people. I rather hit someone with a nicely timed Jamal Crawford layup package and just leave the dunk highlights to someone else on the team. There's something soooooooooooo satisfying when I pull the animation off then everyone starts jumping trying to block it, but I still nail the layup.
The goal is to get Gold Slithery, Advanced, and Contact with Bronze Acrobat.
slithery, giant, and acrobat are a deadly combo.
if you can time your release well then pro touch is great.
consistent is otherwise a good choice.
not sure if fancy footwork , works with his lay up package but it might also work.Comment

if you are going for lay ups only, id suggest you have giant slayer over contact.

Re: Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
i dont use it but people used to spamm it all the time.
for the lay up animation playing out , slithery , giant and acrobat are pretty much a must.
slightly early good and slighly late releases pro touch is epic, but ****ty releases then you need consistent lol.
im still considering trying acrobat with contact and giant slayer to trigger those and 1 change layup shots, jumping into bigsComment

Re: Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
If you're wanting to finish, you're best off with the SF 6'7 gold/red pie chart. He gets enough of a jumper to keep the defense honest and his speed with ball is amazing with Quick First Step HOF. I'd sacrifice the 90+ finishing ratings and HOF finishing badges for a little bit of a jumper and speed. I have the same build and he's a monster.
But he just said he can’t shoot..

i've had a bit of success recently getting slightly early/lates and you get a huge boost with the pro touch badge.
what does giant slayer do though?Comment

Re: Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
The man has a facilitating sharp, with 25+ shooting badges and 90 3ball and says he can’t shoot with it...
How you expect him to land shots with a 60 3 ball?
