what does giant slayer do though?
It increases your chances of hitting a layup against taller defenders.

The interesting thing is that the badge becomes more powerful as the height differential gets larger.

Yup the difference needs to be at least 0`6 and it also reduces the possibility of getting blocked.

with slither finisher and acrobat it can become a very anoying combo for those pesky 7`3 rebounding/rimprotectors...

Bro why you talking to me like I can’t shoot?

Im just saying the guy you replied to clearly stated he CANT shoot on his facilitating SHARP.

And you’re advising a build relying on keeping the D honest with a 60 3ball.

              Like come on.

Like shooting is really hard on this game... It's not like I'm lying to him. This is literally what i have and do all the time.

If he's having trouble with a shooting build, he can have more fun with a slashing build. If he can figure out that jumper, like i did, he could be a real dual threat on the floor.

Triple threat if he focuses on defense like i did.

At the 4 that build is a God. I'm bigger, faster than any other wings they put there. And I'm smaller, more agile than the trees they try to put down there. I've spoken ad nauseam how he rebounds, there really is no comparison to this build. I suggest you make one too.

The fact that I'm even MORE deadly undersized is crazy fun.

But stick me at my true position at the 3? I can switch screens and guard dominant ball handlers.

I have decided to stop my quest of trying to make a Jokic like build and I am just going to stick with my 7'3 Paint Beast build that has the Red pie and I believe the Blue one? It has 75 post moves so it may be the playmaking one. Anyway I like this build. It is an 83 overall but it can hold up pretty well in the rec center because most people are doing the 6'11 glass locks but on 5v5 the speed difference does not seem to matter as much.

Got 10/30/9 game in rec, a triple double game before. 6'8'' rebounding wing (83 OVR) I naturally love to pass and play defense, next time I build a player I'll invest most in these parts of the game and make a Draymond type player

Re: Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.

                      Current team has the following:

                      PG 6'5 Playshot (Me)
                      SG 6'3 Offensive Threat
                      SF 6'5 Playshot
                      PF 6'7 Slasher (slashing/shooting pies)
                      C 6'11 Rebounding Lock

Our center is one of the best rebounders I've played with, but when the other team has two big men, we get in some trouble. Our team is pretty small, so was thinking of making a SF or PF that has playmaking/defense build. Anyone have any recommendations? We play pretty fast, so was thinking 6'7 with max wingspan and max out defensive rebounding. This height will also allow me to get contact dunks at 97/98, allow me to spread the floor by keeping people honest from 3 and make some plays off the dribble. I'm a point guard at heart.

                        Yep. He's amazing.

I can take over games with this build, be the most dominant player even without the ball. I can help on bigs and out rebound anyone who's not 7'3 rebounding first. I LOVE going against post scorers. They think they have me cuz they can back me under the basket, but that's when i jump with my 90 vertical and swat them out of bounds. I would recommend leaving wing span close to default and focus on the essential categories.

What takeover and physical chart do you take? I'm tying to build my sf like yours.

I did Defensive takeover. It's good for me as i run the 4 a lot and it boosts my defensive rebound most notably. I wish i got more steals and blocks, but it does make people miss quite a bit. I also find its relatively easy to fill up my bar if I'm causing a lot of turnovers.

For someone trying to score more, i have seen this build be effective with the slasher or shot creator takeover. But for the shot creator takeover you would have to shorten your wingspan to get a 70 three and that counteracts your ability to run the 4. I believe i only did 1 tick above default with my wingspan.

I also did the physical pie chart that got me close to a 90 speed and vertical while maintaining about a 70 strength. You won't be able to get those 90s until you get the Gym Rat badge without doing drills. So you're going to want to play at least 45 career games without sim and play all of your playoff games until you win a championship.

This build is not for everyone as you have to maintain a 98 to keep all your contact dunks and the 65 three rating. I just recently dropped to a 96 so my three is only a 63 and i don't have any contacts anymore. But that's only because i haven't been playing the last couple weeks and was so anxious to play i took a couple losses with randoms. I'm hoping to stack some wins together tonight to get my OVR back up.

Man... New paint beast is BEASTLY.

I don't have all my badges yet, but i went coast to coast a couple times in Rec with a 61 ball handle.

                              I get 16 finishing, 3 shooting, 4 playmaking and 16 defensive badges.

Going to do the essential finishing badges but with Quick Draw Gold and a 50 three i should hit when i get hot spots. Then Quick First Step Gold and 4 HOF defensive badges. He's going to be like my Slasher SF on crack.

That must be that new Shaq-like build that I've been seeing of late. I had one random teammate who was feasting on the inside with standing dunks.
