So you have no issues with 2K making changes to their gameplay in order to cater to the majority arcade type twitter players and yet they ignore the Sim players requests. Yes 2K makes more money catering to the Twitter crowd but if you are a true sim head, you won’t be happy with those changes and there’s nothing you can do unless you plan on spending hours adjusting gameplay sliders to hopefully mimic what the game was out of the box.

Even with the speed buff my guard is blowing by Centers with ease. Not sure what the complaints are about but I haven't noticed much of a difference other than the game itself (not just centers) being a tad bit faster.
An increase in gameplay speed caters to cheesers. Lol interesting.Comment

Re: The uproar on Twitter about 2K20
I haven't gotten to play with the update yet, so I can't speak on how it feels yet, but just reading this news is so frustrating. The devs did an absolutely amazing job with the gameplay this year. Honestly, I would've been perfectly content if they didn't change anything from what I experienced this weekend.
I hate that 2K must always appease the ultra-vocal social media community, especially considering that most of their requests are so far away from what actual basketball resembles in the real world. They just want some wild west ****, where nobody ever gets tired and you can consistently hit jumpers from behind the halfcourt line. Just ugh.
If 2K is going to cave to these people every year, why not just let the neighborhood be a place where all the craziness happens, and leave the 5-on-5 modes alone? The kids and cook boys could still do what they do, but those who want to play something more realistic would still have a place to go as well.
I'm hoping that the game doesn't feel too bad when I fire it up later. We'll see.Comment

I was wondering how a global speed update would only effect certain positions? I figured it was something in MC I didnt get.
I was still iso'ing and getting by big's with Dejounte Murray when I was playing.
I think there's a bit of an overreaction here...though I understand the implications.Comment

Re: The uproar on Twitter about 2K20
I literally said I don't agree with them changing the game to fit casuals, but as a business person I can see why they felt they had to, and who is to say they won't change it back there are going to be tweaks and patches all year, whatever 2k does someone is not going to be happy.2018-2019 NBA Champions!Comment

Re: The uproar on Twitter about 2K20
I’m gonna have to try it out for myself but I’m disappointed. I’m really just tired of it year in and year out they always go against the grain, go against what made them great in the first place. I just don’t have the patience anymoreComment

Re: The uproar on Twitter about 2K20
#fireronnie2k tells you everything you need to know about the Twitter community. Ronnie has pretty much nothing to do with the actual game and gameplay. Unless I'm mistaking he's just the PR guy.
God I hate the Twitter "fan" community. I'll be so upset if the gameplay is ruined because of the vocal Twitter crowd that thinks they know what's best.Comment

Re: The uproar on Twitter about 2K20
I agree with everyone at how ridiculous it is to change the game to cater to the loud social media backlash from people that prefer an arcade-style game.
With that said, we should collectively calm down a bit so we can give unbiased impressions of the game post-update. Seems like people are so quick to assume this update was released to appease YouTubers that they're not giving it a fair shake.Comment
