I noticed the same thing! I just hopped on and I was like you have got to be kidding me! Speed was perfect for this game, now it’s like I’m running a track meet🤦🏽*♂️

The technical stuff complaints i'm with although i'm not getting as much as others, don't like the long loading times for sure.

Game play is pretty good to me, they need to put in a social media setting/difficulty and a sim out the box setting because they have fans with two distinctly different play styles. Social media complaints? Let's work on these social media settings and leave the sim settings alone. Call it whatever they want but it's desperately needed.

2k is getting rightfully ripped apart on the 2k reddit for changing game speed. Most people on reddit didnt want it either.

This is what happens when you let youtubers with child followers pressure you into changing a game your company worked a year on, just so the youtubers can cheese and maintain their views/source of income.

Is 2k so unconfident in their work that they cave in immediately? Imagine working on something for a year and allowing youtubers to pressure you to change the game drastically on something they played for three days, after you made them accustomed to nonsense for plenty of years before this.

And im not even going to get into the executives who are probably putting pressure on because of the twitter hashtag.

I would also say they bring some of this on themselves because inherently how you play MyPark is flawed anyway because the game is always going to be unbalanced because you start as a bum, but then you level everything because it's how they make boatloads of cash. However, the game is balanced on the whole for NBA/WNBA players, who have higher ratings on the whole, not the trash-tier dudes with no badges that you have to begin things.

If they just had an actual default archetype system/robust pie chart system etc. and rules in place (like they do for the pro league, which signifies they know it's unbalanced and unfair without such a thing because there's clear haves and have nots) then a lot of this would be mitigated because people would be on the same playing field. But with Pandora's box already being opened on that front, their only real way to satisfy both crowds now is actually split MyPark and its related modes off from the rest of the game if we want to have quality gameplay stick for MyTeam/PNO/offline.

Thankfully in MyLeague I was able to adjust game speed and put it down to 40. Definitely slowed down the speed to some sort of resemblance of what it was before the buff. But still, it shouldn’t have even come to that. Like most of you said game speed was perfect and separated the “speed” guys from the good, average, and slow. Sad to see good gameplay change after just 3 days.

Lol it hasn’t even been a full 3 days and they’ve already patched the gameplay? Everyone sucks and has no badges of course it plays slow.

AnnoyingTV is a scrub who doesn’t know **** about basketball, so why do guys like him have so much influence over how the game plays? They need to find a way to patch the gameplay in these modes separately. Let these MyPark guys run around if they want but keep that stuff out of the 5 on 5 modes.

Yeah I get what you're saying, and you're totally right. However it's not a good thing that every year we have to wait at least till December to get a realistic and sim style experience. That's why I hate when every year as soon as the game comes out everyone is saying the gameplay is perfect as it is. Yes it's better, but it could use some fixes. Unfortunately not the fixes that people are asking for on twitter, that's why I think your point is totally fair.

I hear the point of the offline crowd being able to adjust everything via sliders. However, I work about 55 hours a week, have a son I get every weekend and go to gym 5 days/week.

I get most people have the time to fiddle with sliders, but the game SHOULD be designed to play well out the box on proper levels.

I shouldn’t be penalized due to people on social media platform that DO have the time to improve the stick skills, yet they rather complain and have the game become easier & less realistic for their ineptitude.

After working a 12 hour shift, working out for an hour or two, I’m suppose to be in the settings menu playings with sliders until I can replicate what 2K had already fine tuned prior to releasing the game?

I understand why 2K is patching the game (SIMNATION in minority and doesn’t bring in $$) but it sucks for everyone that plays the game the right way, not just the online SIM community.

I'm playing 2K20 on PC right now and I can confirm that the speed has been adjusted. Movement feels like 2K19 again.

Wow was that what the update was this morning? Smh, I’m still waiting for the No Name Patch. Th Gameplay seems fluid as ever at the moment. But as always, here comes the updates which ruins the game as whole in the long run, smh.

OAN: This is why i've always advocated for being in the penalty on the 3rd foul in PNO. 5 min quarters are a snapshot of an NBA game....fouls have to be scaled as such:

This guy (and most cheesers) spam steal after every turnover--a 6 foul penalty rewards that kind of behavior. I seized the momentum because he wouldn't stop being stupid.

Also...can we have a little graphic that shows us how many fouls until we get into the penalty please?
