I'm sorry but that shouldn't be how shooting works. Timing the release point at the top of the jump before the player comes down is how most every basketball game is using the shooting mechanic. In 20 it's just horrible. I shouldn't have to watch a players knees or anything below his head to see how to properly release any players shot.
20 is the ONLY game I have EVER played where I can't get anyone's shot down. At all. It's just all over the place. I'm forced to use real player %. Never have I had to do that before. Until this game. And with real fg% comes the bad things. No swishes hardly ever. Hits the rim practically everytime. Takes too much pleasure out of the game for me and my best friend who has the same problem. So we just play the other versions.
No more problems. Hopefully it's corrected going forward or we just won't buy it. Not worth it to me. Let me decide when to release the shot based on the players wrist or hand movement while in the air. I don't even use the meter. Never have. Why would I want to?
It was never a problem before. So to me, and I hate to use this word, but it's broken. The coding in this game needs work. From collisions to shooting to movement. Playing 2k12 and 14 on the 360 is 200% more fun. Know why? I can figure out a players shot. Easily. Why would anyone ever have or need to watch a players knees. That's plain ignorant. That's not directed toward anyone in particular, but to the coding of this game.
Thankfully I never pay 60$ for this game. And don't even get me started on Madden. OMG.....
