Yeah that's why it's good to have some shooting in your build. Best way to win with no shooters/spacing vs a good team would be defense + fast breaks.

Rec needs 2 doors. 1 for Squads and 1 for randoms. Squads game the system beating up on randoms with no chemistry, make em play sweaty tryhards 24/7

It's ironic. They must have changed the matchmaking system recently. Feels like I've played against (presumably) more squads this weekend than I did all month. It's literally the same BS...zone defense, 5 out, and dudes will live and die by the 3. I'm on a crazy losing record at the moment. I think I'm like 5-18 or something.

i think match making is still the same but i have ran into a lot of squads running zone. most of them were bad teams buts its a nuisance.

shooting is too easy right now man. i got a 83 3pt rating and green every single open look. its why 5 out is even feasible and everyone is an elite shooter.

they gotta nerf it at some point where is the skill in shooting lol.

Probably the reason why I got so frustrated from the one game when I play against a glass-cleaning lock center. He kinda "forced" me to come out of the paint with his corner 3PT shooting despite being a pure defensive build. It wasn't a lopsided matchup, because I somewhat able to take him in the post. He was basically one of those dudes who think the game was going to just give him automatic blocks and rebounds over me. No...there's still a science to it which is why I don't have the Intimidator badge. It just bothers me that a Ben Wallace/Rudy Gobart build has enough shooting skills where you CAN'T gamble off them.

I wanna say I ran into 4-5 squads the past few days. I play nothing but Center, so you can imagine me having to constantly help on picks while simultaneously stopping my matchup from rolling to the basket. The same thing over and over again for the entire game. I will say the few randoms I did play with did recognize the zone instantly, but we still couldn't beat it. I think a lot of Solo rec players are starting to take notice.

I say make em all suffer. Make it Squad vs Squad. It sucks for those who don't play 5 Out and Run Zone, but it's a necessary evil as these kids like to beat up on randoms

Okay. Now, I'm 100% convinced that five man squads need their own center. It's no fun for me playing against these squads who are using stupid tactics and exploits to win while I'm stuck with trying to figure out my teammates IF they're any good and/or have basketball IQ.

This last game, I led the team in ALL categories while two people quit, and my remaining 2 teammates were dumb as hell! CLEARLY, their center was cherry picking on every possession which meant it should have been easy points for me on every trip and easy steals for the backcourt every time they try to launch the ball down court.

I almost jumped on the mic and to start yelling at the whole damn team.

This why I made the 20 ppg goal for myself. When it hits the fan only a few mins into the 1st quarter.....boom.....it’s 20 ppg time. It gives me something to play for.

And yes. Without any debating. Rec should have two doors. One for squads and one for single walk-ons.

Man! I'm starting to feel like a superstar center, lol. If there was a "coach or gm" in the mode, I would be bitching him to right now that I need some damn help [emoji23]. Double doubles in points and rebounds, 5 APG, 2SPG, and 2+BPG while providing good rim protection. What the hell more can I do, lol?

In PNO, the game does wacky stuff. In REC, it's like I'm doing my part, so I'm expecting everyone else to do theirs. Where's that previous "Dear Randoms" thread when you need it [emoji23]? Hell, these fools got me thinking like a free agent, because I'm sure debating whether or not to join a squad myself. I can't keep losing like this.

Well this mode sucked last night (PS4).

Laggy as hell, unplayable, multiple error codes.

And no it wasn’t “me”, everyone was on their mics saying how the were lagging and couldn’t control anything.

it felt like a different game last night..well ive noticed some changed recently. closeout speeds on perimeter shots is quicker and interior defense was buffed. i was also getting a ton of layup animations last night..they were good in context but i usually dunk those.

also i thought you were on xbox whats your psn?
