Yesterday I did a test with this beta set. I already find it very good. However, I found very few offensive rebounds. It's a bit too difficult for the user to defend 1-on-1s. Other than that, I didn't find anything I didn't like. As for the game speed, I recommend you try it on 47

I think defense can probably take a step back on both ends. Haven't had a game with either team over 100 points. Had the CPU at like 14% from 3 and myself at 30%. There are very long stretches without any scoring from anybody(5 minutes). I think closeouts are happening more than they should and contested shots are just so high difficulty.

I had good results with offensive rebounds 90 for both and keep defensive rebouns at 50. Offensive rebounds feels unforced for me that way and you can still battle for rebounds fairly

Same, the only time I managed a game where both scored over a 100 is because I cranked 3 point shooting to 90 to test for a quarter and both the CPU and I went bonkers making shots. Granted, this is not an issue with these sliders (which I think are fantastic starter set) and more so the game in general on HoF I think. The CPU in particular seems hell bent on mostly taking wide open shots and they end up taking (and missing) way too many late shot clock jumpers as a result if you defend them well, as well as the lack of shooting fouls in general. I'm going to try to scale back the defense on jump shots and see what happens, although I suspect the issue will remain since they most likely still will aim for the best shot possible.

Loving all the feedback, guys! I'll be tuning down CPU dunks, overall shot contest strength, and boosting offensive rebounds (which will hopefully lead to more tipped rebound scrambles as well like it did last year). Expect an update soon!

The sliders are very good. I think the best speed is 47, or maybe 48. I found both phases a bit simple... you should increase the CPU or reduce the user. Last tip for Eccentric....I tried "Gunther sliders", I think yours are better, but I find his exceptional in terms of movement... you could see if you can take inspiration from them to further improve yours. 😉

EccentricMeat If you feel like it, try the set I shared, gamertag TeknoFilo filename Test 1, they are yours with some influence on Gunther's movements
                  Game Speed 47

It seems to me that the movements are definitely more fluid this way.

I made half game, and they seemed really good to me. Let me know what you think.

It doesn't matter. You can still download them even if you're on a different platform. I play on Series X, but you can still download the sliders.

Enjoyed my first game with these Meat, good work.

Am i right to assume any slider not listed is simply left at default?

In the last few days I experimented with different values in terms of reducing Jump Shot Defense for both USER and CPU and increasing CPU Shot Timing, as well as raising Offensive Rebounding for both by 10 (60) and reducing Defensive Rebounding to 40 and have started to see both myself and the CPU scoring in the triple digits regularly. However, some of these were extreme cases where the shooting percentages were waaay up for the CPU due to me giving up way too many open 3's, as well as playing vs the Rockets and KD, who is an absolute monster in the game (more so than in real life, his dribble package seems incredibly OP in terms of how fluid and fast his animations are). I got absolutely destroyed for the first time by the CPU as Houston while playing with Orlando (I think the score was 123-99 or close to that), and then played a few games between the Nuggets and Rockets, and all were in the triple digits and competitive. Still have to find a better balance between CPU Shot Timing and Jump Shot Defense, but its looking a lot better than before where both the CPU and I struggled at times to get over 100 points in a 48 minute game.
