Re: 2K20 MyLeague Community Slider Set (User v User and User v CPU)

Hey man. Just updated for users on Switch so they have today's settings. The adjustments feel pretty good, and the flow of the game is great. The only thing I'm not wild about is that the animations can look a little choppy / glitchy at times. Particularly I'm seeing where guys kind of warp into the paint at the speed of light for an O rebound. But -- at least in one game as the Warriors -- one thing I really like is that Curry doesn't feel overpowered, while guys like Looney actually feel useful. It's not that it completely flattens out the talent level, but for once it felt like playing team basketball is significantly more effective than just going bonkers with your star player (which with most sliders is a reliable strategy).

I might tweak the speed/accel on my non-uploaded version of your sliders to smooth out the graphical choppiness, but hopefully that doesn't ruin the good qualities of this set. Did you already try to do this and just decide in the end that quality of play > graphical smoothness?

Re: 2K20 MyLeague Community Slider Set (User v User and User v CPU)

Great points vet. Long story short, I went with more explosive acceleration to emphasize nba athleticism

      So here’s what I saw.
Lateral quickness and Acceleration without ball being lower, I felt like players would get “stuck in the mud” too often. So I raised both. I would be open to lowering the acceleration attribute slider first by 5-10 pts.

Offensive rebounds were getting knocked out of players hands at a rate I felt was too often so I raised that. I haven’t seen too many rebounds from smaller players and it feels like defensive rebounding is still more powerful(which I feel it should be if only slightly). I would maybe look at lowering hustle by 5-10. The “glitchy” animation we’re looking at could also be tied to movement/acceleration.

      Overall.
For me the cpu offense flow on this set feels good, which was what I was looking for. User Shooting may be a bit too easy for my taste, but I think it’s better for a more general audience. Still have to run plays/get easy shots to get an offense going

USER v USER game. MyLeague Online

Note: Throwing the Clippers some bail here, this was their first game on this set and with their team. Most sim leagues require players to play a certain way, so it took some time to get used to the idea that you can play however you want (the abilities should still be realistic). Much appreciation to them for playing this one out.

Also it looks like Real FG% works in User v User games? I'll check next game, but this is great if it does.

I see Protect the Paint in the Coach Gameplan / Coach Profile / Sim Points of Emphasis section outside of played games but can't find it in the Defensive Coaching Adjustments used during Time Outs or the On the Fly adjustment section in played games.

Is it called something else, like Shrink the Floor?

            Thanks.

No changes made to the set. Just posting another user playing vs CPU in our MyLeague Online. Using the current set in OP.

3pt percentage was a little too high in user v user games. Speed is a bit too slow.

                  Current beta changes
+5 Min Speed with ball and without ball.

Played 3 games with these sliders and I gotta say they delivered a super enjoyable, balanced and realistic gameplay so far!

Am I doing something wrong? I can find your sliders to download from the main menu, but when I go to MyLeague and try to load or download them, they're nowhere to be found

Nah you're doing the right thing. Be sure you're loading them from the gameplay sliders section. If that doesn't work, coould you upload an image/video of what you're seeing?

So I open up MyLeague, hit "Start from today", then go into options, settings, and then load settings. When I search for your sliders, they don't appear.

If I go from the home screen to features, then load settings, they come right up (and I've already downloaded them).

Interesting. Can you try starting the league on Hall of Fame default, then loading the gameplay sliders once the league has started?
