So is it more like ID? Did they add more player tendacies? And do they work in the game?
Great question, I would like to know this as well.. can't wait to get home to download..

I cheesed on purpose just to see if this strategy would prevail...and I failed...and I loved it...

Dirk definitely plays like Dirk. He always spots up along the midrange and 3pt spot.

I'm also loving how each time I play the demo, the game turns out differently then before. I really feel that this game might be the one where 12 min quarters actually work.

I'd like to know about the league thing myself - this game should be CRAZY online, even more so if you're playing in a good league with the way 2K supports online leagues.

Also, thx for the dribble anims tip. One disappointment is it seemed hard to pull off the cool bringing-the-ball-up-the-court anims. You see them a lot in the videos, so I'm assuming it's just something I need to be schooled on how to do. Double-tapping the control stick would get the PG to do it sometimes but not sure if that's it. Thx again for the double tap left trigger tip.

!%#@@% demo made me late for work and I already want to get home to play it. Plus it's a rainy day here in the DC area. Gotta find my boss - I don't feel too good... think I'm going to have to leave early...

Last year in 2k6 you would have to hold the L trigger while bringing the ball up to see the bring the ball up animations. i don't know if its still the same this year.

                  Re: Offical Demo Impressions

Potential bug, or maybe I was just too tired this morning:

Haslem went for the layup, I fouled him going for the block, but also commited a goaltend (the ball hit the backboard already before the swat). This should had been a basket, and one FT, but the basket didn't count, and two FT's were given. That needs to be fixed, but also, does that mean that blocks of balls that has hit the backboard already, without committing a foul) are not goaltends?

Anyways, game rox (was an hour late to work this morning), just wish I had my 2K view option.

I gotta comment on the sideline animations. They are very impressive. I actually got distracted watching a guy from Dallas tie his shoe. Not just the players, but the score/time keepers. Then the Heat mascot in the background. It's just a great touch.

I didn't have a 360 with last year's release, so this is all new to me and I think it's very nice.

When you receive the ball on the inbounds pass wait a sec for him to stop, then push forward on the left stick all the way and he will walk it up the court doing one of those animations. You dont have to ease it up, just push it forward all the way. You will actually move faster if you dont push forward all the way on the stick.

I was curious any option to just call plays and sub while the cpu plays your team? How is the lock stick for locking onto one player? Thanks.

ok first of all i m freench so xcuse my english
i m a nba fan a 2k fan and a kobe ***** (yes there are also in france)
i create an american silver xbox live account to play 2k7 so i idl it so here are my impression :
                              - it s the middle of the day for me so i m probably more awake than you :-)
                              - AI MUCH IMPROVE no more run to the dunk i will definitely play live this year
                              - animation and sigs : d wade jwil , walker and shak post game just blow me, terry drive the ball so real dirk shoot like dirk
-the game is more smooth, things are doing naturally
                              - post play is great much harder you almost feel the weignt when you push defender
                              - it s more easy to have open shots ex : shaq in the post 2 players on him pass to walker for an open j love it
-i think that mismatch are understand by AI ex : wade on isolation faces dirk just blow him with triple threat moves for an easy lay up
ex 2: i just almost kill harris with shaq during post game
                              - corner threes are back
                              - DUNKS ARE SO MUCH BETTER so realistic in fact
                              - the crowd is great
                              - shak ft lol
                              - one thing i notice on replay is that the ball desn t touch the hand of the player

im now going to play again and again i hope it will be release soon for us european player

different yet some how the same.

youll see dirk, jt, and harris shooting long range threes when open. dirk shooting alot contested. but then all the little stuff makes the qrts so different.
