    Pared,

I coudn't agree with you more. I enjoy the interaction, and I'm going to give Live 10 a shot, but I'm amazed at the setiment that Live is the better game all of the sudden. 2K has it's flaws, but these complaints about editing eye color and Sim association stats, and things aren't the end of the world. Frustrating? Yes.

I think I have another copy of 2K than the rest of the posters because there is no way that the graphics in Live are better. There are a lot of things that I like about Live (footplanting, DNA, 365, spacing, player and team attributes), but in no way is it better than 2K at this point. Live can take the throne back eventually just as 2K did from Live in the early 2000's. But, it comes from excellent graphics, gameplay and intangibles (presentation, stats etc.) not developer interaction-That's how 2K came on top in the first place

Re: NBA2K10 - Devs- The Bar has been Raised.

My main gripe with this game is the lack of sim play out the box. And the nerve to make everyone have to play ranked games with only "NBA Jams" settings. Create a freaking sim lobby for crying out loud. Is that so hard? Unbelievable. And do something about the ridiculous ratings discrepancy. Why does it take some outside dudes to get the game to play in a sim fashion when 2K is the ones who made the freaking game.

Two things I'll be looking for in NBA 2K10 and if it's not there then, just like MLB 2K9, it will be a NO BUY for me.
HAVE A SIM RANKED LOBBY. If thats not there then there is NO use for me to buy the game. NONE. If they refuse to do this then have a lobby where custom rosters could be used. Even if it's an agreed upon uploaded roster set. Or better yet put out a realistic roster set and an arcade roster set, like the one they have for default now. If they have no clue what a realistic roster set should play like then take a look at the Neon set. I'm not saying it's 100 percent iron clad but it's 100 percent better than the junk 2K is spitting out. And his set plays an outstanding game of basketball. I got a losing season in association and couldn't be happier because I can SEE where I've been outplayed and not out BS'ed for the most part.

The ratings are so badly skewed this year even sliders can't help this game. If these things don't happen then I'll just keep playing NBA 2K9 offline and save my money OR if Live happens to do all this then I'll jump over there. I don't care if they got stick figures out there , if the game is playing right then I'm in.

We were just disappointed with 2K9.

Half features (Only being able to edit eye color in edit prospects)
          The broken help defense
The bad ai defensive switching logic
The ghost layups that go right through defenders bodies (clipping I guess it is called)
The herky jerky controls that randomly cause your players to move around like roaches
It IS HATE. The way people talk on these boards, you would think live 09 is better than 2k9, but the truth is that while live has made improvements, it's still not as good of a game as 2k's. Also, the vast majority of people ARE pleased with 2k9, and their game to game sales prove that. The reason why the people at 2k don't communicate with there internet fans as much as some would like is because the ONLY thing most people on these boards do is complain about stuff that is basically unreasonable to ask a development team with such a short cycle to work with. 2k9 is NOT perfect, but it is better than the competition. Until the competition surpasses 2k basketball, i could care less how much they talk to me.

              HE HAS ARRIVED!!!

This solidifies my purchase for NBA Live 2010 and 2k10.

My goodness, I feel so much better now, thanks.

Seriously, you're all good with me cuz you was on point with all DPC control answers/questions when I inquired about it.

Sorry but people offering constructive criticism to a game is NOT hate.

Are you suggesting that we don't voice our displeasure with certain aspects of the game?
                Concrete evidence/videos please

Re: NBA2K10 - Devs- The Bar has been Raised.

I dont hate on 2K at all but I wholly admit that the raging inferno of jealousy burns deep within my soul at how interactive the EA developers are being with their community.

I would possibly shed a tear or two if I was given a chance to discuss issues with the 2K developers in an attempt to make 2K10 better. There are just too many things in 2k9 that were done without consulting the community that turned out to be big mistakes that could have been avoided. Even my girlfriend understood that removing flex schedules was a mistake and all I had to do was tell her what flex scheduling was. She pieced the rest together herself and within 30 seconds she asked me "Why would they take that out?". Why indeed.

This isnt hate either but honestly, they may need to fire all their game testers in charge of the online aspects because they failed on a very basic and fundamental level. I have been gaming online since at least 97 and there are features that have become so commonplace that the idea of them not being there is absurd but 2k9 is missing them. How do you come up with a 5v5 system but forget to give the hosts a way to kick players out? How could you not give us some kind of latency bar in the lobby to inform us what the connections would be before we start? How could you remove the play a friend feature in favor of creating private player matches that you have to then invite your friends to, which wouldnt be so bad but you cant create player matches if the 2k sports service goes down!
