I downloaded Pared's custom music file, but I'm having issues making it work.

I just played around with the files, and added about 80 songs to my 360 via an audio CD. I ripped it onto my 360's hard drive, and can play the songs from the dashboard.

Then, using the Xbox menu, I organized the songs into 4 playlists: Home/Away court, Long, Tipoff, and Menu/PotG.

I fired up the NBA2k10 disk, and went into the 2k beats page.

I used the menu in NBA2k10 to assign each playlist to the appropriate event. Each playlist has a dot next to it that illuminated.

I exited the 2k beats page.

The game's menu music didn't change.

I went into my Association, and played the next game, but the every piece of music was the default NBA2k10 soundtrack.

I exited the game, and checked the 2k beats page to see if the playlists were highlighted correctly, and they were.

Anyone know why this isn't working at all?

its hard coded so you need to set up before you start season /playoffs/ Association & myplayer.

For those using the Audacity program, what are the Gverb settings you are using? I tried the ones posted on this thread from the hockey forum but sound is really low...thanks!

someone mentioned this before, and i think it's a great idea. if there's anyone out there who can post a file of NBA Live 10's area stuff such as defensive chants and beats and what not, please do because they have it perfect. just turn off the commentary.

First time posting on this forum after 'lurking' for years...late on this actual topic but I finally got around to applying this and I love it. Thanks all who contributed...can't wait for 2K11 and to getting familiar with this site.

does "homeup" or "awayup" mean these teams walking "up" the court, or the teams are "up" on the scoreboard?

It means when the team is up in score I believe.

yes but you have to find and set it up yourself.... is that what they play when he hits a 3?

Anyone having problems adding custom sounds for players? I am. Still troubleshooting to see if I can figure it out but if anyone has any ideas fill me in. I couldn't see any responses it regards to this question in earlier posts!

You were able to add new custom songs for players with no problem? I tried testing some on D Rose and couldnt get anything. I was able to assign the player sounds that came with the download provided by RD ( Killer work bro) and they worked fine but when I tried to upload my own WPL for a player specific sound it didnt work. I'll be working on it again today to see if I can get it maybe Im doing something wrong, Im sure! NWO (4 Life lol) for the wolves tip I never thought of that one! Thanks for the suggestions!
