Did I purchase the special "No goddamned pick and rolls" edition of this game or what?

I don't understand how you are not seeing them. I use the Jazz a lot and leave the playcalling on AUTO + with play on screen...and 70% of the plays are pick and rolls.

I've been predominantly playing Live until I could get a good slider set for this but realised that I never uploaded My Player to the servers so I've gone back to the combine to start and finish my guy off and having an absolute blast.

Can't wait to bring this guy across into My Player and enjoy that mode.

I had another problem with PnR's - the CPU does not defend them well at all.

Anyway, to answer Pared, there are a few issues which give me game crashes.

1. The Halftime show. I can't skip it without the game freezing, I can't watch it without the game freezing.
2. Sometimes after a timeout the cheerleaders still stand on the court dancing. Game crashes soon after.
3. Sometimes the commentary crew would announce how much a certain player scored in a previous game - a little graphic will show up at the bottom that's supposed to mirror what they say, but insteads it lists that the player has scored 0 points in the last game. Game crashes shortly after.

2 discs, 2 different xboxs. The game will crash usually after one of these things happens, but it's more frequent lately.

I swear to God I can't get any team except Utah to run pick and roll with any regularity...

I'm so frustrated right now. It's as if I'm the only one who's having this problem, or I'm the only one who cares.

Not having any issues with teams running PnR on this end.

Me either. And not having a huge problem defending them but I've only played against the cpu and guess the cpu doesn't abuse it in the way a human player might. Based on the location on the court and the spacing I'll choose how to get the guard to play through the pick (going over the top, staying underneath, going around it) then start hitting the left trigger to force the other defender to his man

This game is a mess. I can't even get my controller to stay working going from one screen to the next.

Does anybody have an ETA on the patch to fix framerate issue. I put the game up until the patch cause its begining to make the game unplayable.

I give my 60 bucks to 2k for another funless, frustrating, blistering , unsettling piece of software. Im disappointed to an extreme level...
This game is a random nightmare. No way to take solid play control, defense is non existent, cpu bashing my butt in every way, make almost every shot, and this year there a lot of unrealistic alley-oops, too many interceptions and cranky control. Why my players lost so many long passes? That's ridiculous. Again, TOO MANY missed layups, and again, cpu dnt know at all that problem.
Play against cpu is too ****ing hard & frustrating dudes, at all levels and dnt wanna spend times with slider tweaking, mainly with that rubbish save system...

Is a pity, cuz presentation/atmosphere this year is TOP NOTCH, commentary is unbeliavble, soundtrack perfect, awesome animations, but really dnt get the gameplay at all

Got Ps3 version, no framerate glitch here, but LOT of jaggies, and the crowd graphic quality is much worse than 360.

meh I remember 3 yrs when NHL 2K7 came out and everyone thought it was the king of hockey games... if 2K Team doesn't bring the ship back onto course... NBA2K will be an after thought as well.

The presentation really is the best in sports gaming history. The animations, the crowd, the play by play and all the little things in between really make certain things fun.

This is an honest question, but are you really feeling the crowd? They appear largely unenthused when they shouldn't be. They react correctly on most occasions, but there's still enough moments where I'll slam one home to gain a lead and they just sort of remain idle.

Momentum appears to be a problem with the crowd, where if I do a number of good things in a row, instead of getting loud and remaining loud with each successive positive play made, they eventually reach a peak and kind of reset and stop cheering loudly for a play or two.
