Now that I'm done with the Jordan challenges, I decided to create a guy to hold me over until opening day rosters. I'm using default settings and 12 minute quarters.

I'm a 6'7" athletic SF working on Speed and Ball Handling first (doing the Dribble Course Drills). I'm all potential right now, relying on raw athleticism to get my stats. I'm wondering if I should restart and make my guy skinnier so he can be faster? I don't remember what my guy weighs, but if he can be blazing fast, it might be worth it to give him a Kevin Martin esque frame. Problem is, I like my guy and had a good first game. I just don't want to find out going in later that my guy is capped at 80 for speed when I could have gotten another 10 points if he dropped 5 lbs.

Streets I'm 65% sure you can change his weight at any time. If you want him to be lighter I think you can just edit him.

SidenotesPlaying on Sim/Pro 12 minute quarters. May bump it up to Sim/Allstar. I got around 10 of my points from the free throw line, converting on over 90% of my attempts. As a result of shooting shooting so poorly, with the 1900+ SP I gained I raised my Layup from 45 to 56. Hopefully this will help me convert more shots since a lot of my misses came from contested layups.

But don't you think theres something wrong with a team using a 6'7 SF as there back up PF and C? Thats the role I have right now, and I personally think somethings wrong with that.

I am averaging a double double because of it so I can't complain about my production but when I created my SF I wasn't expecting to be a full time post player. I thought I would of been out in the perimeter.

I agree with you and I had the same thing happen last year even though I was a SG but once I got to a certain point they stopped roatating ME around and started making better lineup choices.

I am only 12 games in or so this year and am already doing the bounce around thing but I know it will straighten out once I get to that point, by that time ill ask for a trade and get the hell out of DC

I hope your right but just incase your wrong I've asked for a trade . I asked to go to Cleveland, I can take J.Grahams spot no problem and play the majority of my minutes as a SF.

Nothing personal Memphis, I'm just tired of getting owned defensively in the post.

I just got the sixth man role on the Hornets, hopefully at around the 20 game mark I'll be starting.

If not I'll be taking my talents to Sacramento (hopefully)

If you create a SF-point forward, do you eventually get to run the offense on occasion?

Any idea where the option in the My Player mode to turn the playcalling messages and playart on? It was in last years MP and would seem like a glaring omission on 2k's part if it was left out. If you are not the PG you have absolutely no idea what play is being called.

Ah yes, I looked this up last night and its in the main menu under the options, I dont remember which specific tab it was under but once I got into it there was no issue with finding it.

Yeah i've seen it in the main menu but when you go into my player mode it is not there in the options. Are the settings universal across all modes including My Player?

Thats how I felt with my first guy. I was playing more PF then SF. Recreated one but still got drafted to Grizz, so we'll see if same thing happens.. probably will.

I believe this year they are, I had the intent on turning them on and checking but by that time it was 1am and I could hardly see straight

Played my player pretty much the whole day

My player is a 6'3 PG and was drafted by the Kings 2nd round 3rd pick, overall 52.

Udrih was the starter, 11 games in I got promoted to starter avging about 5 ppg. I'm playing on Superstar on sim sliders 8 mins.

Tyreke Evans is a %%%@!*@ ball hog, and no one else can make a shot so my assists suck, I miss wide open jumpers all day too

So called sim, whenever you miss a shot the defense throws a +!*!!!$ full fourt pass for an easy layup, what the %%!@ is that about?

EVERYTIME I reach for the ball it's a bad steal attempt? Cmon son.....

Our record is 1-12. on the 13th game the fans started booing me whenever I touched the ball chanting "trade him" yet at the press conferences I answered my questions with either professionalism or loyalty, %%!@ this franchise. I wanna trade but the only team interested in me is the Hornets and I don't wanna go there...

+*%% gets me tight but at the same time atleast it ain't too unrealistic. The game does be cheatin alot tho.....

I was thinking about switching the difficulty up to pro or rookie to get easy skill points to improve my guy, and then switch to back to superstar when I get him where I want him to be, is that cheating?

I think its bugged right now. You only get to use plays if you are a PG...other then that its a free for all. No autoplay calling

Is it weird that I haven't had a press conference in a couple of games?

I thought they were after every game.
