have you had a few "lackluster games" or maybe your not giving them enough drama in your answers? I am really not sure to be honest

Is it too early to start a patch wish list thread or is that being covered in the glitch thread?
I know it's been mentioned in the 2k forums, but I'm not sure how big of a push is being made. The mode is still enjoyable, but having no play vision and being limited in the plays you can call (my player is a PG, and the plays are horrible) is really frustrating.

I just had a player of the game on my last game. Still no press conference.

Most of the time I'm on the bench at the end of the 4th, could that be it?

I found press conferences really fun, I'm sad they're gone D:

I'm 9 games in to my NBA season as a 6'3 point guard. I was drafted 24th overall by the Atlanta Hawks. We lost our first two games, but I've slowly been gaining minutes and we've won 7 in a row and are in first place in the Eastern Conference.

I'm up to a 53 overall as the 6th man, averaging 18.7 ppg, tops out of all rookies. I'm trying to get my assist total up, but the CPU always seems to cheat me out of my assists.

My goal is to be the starter at PG by year 2 and I hope the Hawks keep together the core, because there's a lot of young talent on this team. We could be dominant for a long time if we stick together.

These are the frustrating things with this mode. I am the SG and already the 6th man (50 overall) on the Wizards 8 games into the season. I mostly play SF. We go to Boston and 1st Quarter Pierce lights me up. Negative points all day. 2nd Quarter, Garnett is in at SF. He posts me up all day. Negative points for Allowing a Pass in the Line, Negative points for Allowing man to Score. Come on, it's KG posting up on me a 6'6" SG with Below 50 Defense in every category, some at 25. I would have rather started in the D-League and worked my way up.

I posted some impressions in the Impressions Thread about this mode. For the most part its cool, but I think Im playing more because I like the RPG element to it rather than enjoying it. Does that make sense?

I dont think thats it, I have been in the game at the end and on the bench at the end and have gotten them, I asked Ronnie on Twitter but I am sure he is getting flooded by other things as well so maybe others should ask as well to ensure he see's one of them and can respond.

I like both, like it was mentioned earlier there are some issues they need to workout still but overall I am enjoying it again this year.

Yeah, it's like you are on a set path with this mode. I was laughing when Jordan endorsed me 5 games into the season. I am a bench player shooting 25% from the field and you want me?

And replace Evans with John Wall for my team and I am in the same boat. He will throw up prayers and if I ask for the ball in the wrong situation...negative points. After receiving a negative, I just look for some innocent defender to screen for no apparent reason other than boosting my grade.

I moved back down to Pro from All-Star. I was hoping All-Star was a more sound game of basketball, but it was more of the same just harder. I don't think moving down to Pro is cheating. It's your career anyways and its not like becoming the Starter at a 53 overall is exactly realistic. My two cents.

I haven't had the issues you are talking about even when a player is lighting me up. You don't need to prevent him from scoring only need to get some good defense on the guy and you get a positive for good defense. The same thing with playing down low. I have had to guard Dwight Howard a few times in one game and I put up good defense (specifically when I jumped to block his shot when he did shoot) and I got a positive on the play even though he made it.

My career is going great though so far. I have been focusing on building up one offensive strength for my guy and finally got my mid range jump shot to 99. I am now working on shooting off the dribble. That is at an 81 right now so my guy is automatic from mid range now whether I'm dribbling or not. I was on the Trail Blazers as a SG but being behind Roy sucked so I requested a trade and got sent to the Cavs. I am the leading scorer on that team and on my way to rookie of the year.

For every time I got a good grade for playing sound D on them when they scored I got a bad grade later for allowing them to score because my player didn't react fast enough. Or I attempted a steal on a very high lob entry pass to KG. Got docked for that, the pass and the score. It was give and take that game. Thank goodness for screens or I would have gotten an F.

I could care less about my grade, because having a bad game really doesn't matter to me. The bigger issue was the fact that I was actually the 6th man seven games into the season. Guarding two elite players as a 50 overall player with better players on the bench lower in the rotation.

I was thinking about going to your plan of attack with upgrading. Spend all the points on one category and then switching. Seems like the smarter thing to do in this game. How many games are into the season are you in? Do you keep restarting drills to get the +2?

Howard AND a capable backup in Gortat. Tough luck.

                        ---

My minutes on the Hornets are up to 29. I'm putting up way better numbers than Thorton, but since I'm a PG I don't think they'll put me as the starting SG.

@Eclipso: They've come back. I'm not sure what's going on, I guess they're just not after every game.

I got drafted to the Wizards in the second rd. Im a 6'4 sg(3 pt spec.)

Im into the reg. season and scored 10 in my first game, 15 in the second. Im getting alot better but I may request a trade eventually because the Lakers and Blazers are interested in me and It would be awesome to play for one of them.

My file is still fine and have a backup that is a few games behind but reading all this bad file stuff again this year means I should keep my backup file up to date.
