Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
I could be wrong, but I believe it's based on stats. For example, my player is around a 53 overall, but I've seen my minutes steadily increase because I score a lot of points. Haven't cracked the starting lineup as a shooting guard (kinda hard to do with Arenas, Wall and Hinrich) yet, but it could happen soon. I think I'm currently ahead of Hinrich on the depth chart.Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
I just made it to the Grizzlies main roster. My guy is a cross between Kevin Martin with no range (wire thin, lightening fast, great at drawing contact, and efficient) and old school Grant Hill (a triple double threat every night/ versatile).
I see I have 10 more drills. After this, am I done, or are there more coming in year one?
I think I have to stick with the dribble course (I have a plan). I'm good at it (the only move I can't pull off is the half spin), and the chance of getting speed is too great to pass up (since it's so expensive). I'm going to keep my guy one point below the cap (which may be 99, I'm at at 91 currently), but with the new buyback system it makes sense to keep doing the course. If I get Speed +1 I can probably sell that point back for over 2,000 points. And if I get ball handling or something, that's good too as I'll need that down the road anyway.Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
My guy is terrible. 6'0 PG got drafted to the Suns and made the team. They use me as the backup SG which sucks because I can't shoot and don't really fit into their style of offense. I'll probably stick it out because Nash is old and I get good minutes.
If the CPU players could hit shots and call plays this mode would be perfect.
Also does anyone know if putting the game style on simulation has a big effect on things like shooting percentages?Last edited by poopoop; 10-09-2010, 07:16 PM.Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
Last year I had a 7'0 Center named ShogunFlow.
This year I made a 6'2 All Around PG named ShogunFlow. In my first Summer League game I had 22 points, 9 assist, 3 steals and 3 rebounds. My outside shooting is improving so I'ma be a threat.-Jay Illestrate, Emcee/Producer/Graphic Artist
