Quick question: Does anyone know if its possible to have your player NOT dunk? My guy is a 6'1" athletic PG and I'd rather have him do layups then dunk. My vertical is 75 and my dunk is 60. Any suggestions?

Take away all of his dunk skill points and use them somewhere else?

Even with a dunk rating at 48 he still dunks. But i think I figured out how to do layups but just not using the turbo button.

you're right...take your finger off the turbo

OR do the eurostep...most of the time they're layups...i managed to do a few dunks so far after a eurostep...it was weird

My player on sim is broke, CPU always takes over in the second half and you lose. You know when it's coming but you can't stop it.You start turning it over on wacky plays and they start making every shot. Makes the game more frustrating then fun.

i agree its making a great game mode frustrating the more i play it. I can't say when is the last time i won a game in my player mode. I play on hof i don't know what to do my player is 81 sf. what do i need to upgrade so they can play smart. i'm running with the jazz and the only time i can get deron williams to get 5 points is when i simulate other than that he always go 1 for 9. or something of that nature

how do you guys respond on answer interviews majority of the time i A or better teammate grade yet i still haven't earn floor general back i had it in year 1 when i was with the heat. then lost it oh by the way that was the last time i got a billboard in year 1.
i'm averaging 16.8 7.4 boards 3.6 assist a game 0.8 steal. 0.4 blk 3 topg

what can i do so where the cpu play decent for a change. in year 3 with 80 overall and yet i can't win a game on hof and my team mates pass me the ball at horrible times. if not i got to keep calling for ball here goes my attributes. i average A for team mate and still no floor general 6'5 sf all around

Playing the Magic in the 1st round of the playoffs. I'm the 2 seed (Wizards). We split the 1st two games. Pretty close, hard games. Game 3 was ridiculous. I pick up 2 of the cheapest fouls ever and have to sit the 1st quarter. I get back and go on beast mode. Problem is their players can't miss and Wall and Hinrich are terrible shooters. I dropped 41 pts, 32 rebs and take the loss by 20. Was soooo pissed.

One question for you My Player guys.

Does My Player freeze alot right out of the box? I'm wanting to start one, but I have read about freezing issues and don't want to have to start over 20 or so games into the regular season.

Hooked my PS3 up to the internet today after a few days of being unable to, and I'm much happier with My Player mode now. The plays my Clippers run are still stupid as heck on most occasions, but at least the CPU doesn't chuck up junk whenever the play breaks down anymore. Anyone else experiencing this? Just so I have a bit of confirmation, lol. Just beat the Hawks with my PF putting in 17 points and 17 rebounds. Leading the league in rebounds and just got the lead in blocks as well. Now if only Kaman would stop getting injured on me. :/

Yeah, Deron sucks a%* now. It wasn't as bad before the update...i'd do some picks and he'd score. Now he just does plays and stupid 3 point shots if i don't do the plays. Kinda sucks that the teams best player (excluding me) doesn't get more than 5 points a game -_-. All i can say is let jefferson and Millsap do their thing early so they're in rhythm and hopefully win.
