Re: Will You Use Real Player % Or Shot Stick Timing?
It seems to me that Real FG% made it a lot harder for me. I was consistently going down by 30 or more, missing easy shots. I put it on Shot Stick and I'm nailing the shots that are open and on top of that, I love the graphic they have to show if you shot is on or not.Comment

Re: Will You Use Real Player % Or Shot Stick Timing?
I have no problem with Real % now that I bumped up the shooting sliders a tad. I'm at least able to break 40% as a team now though I haven't gotten over 43% which isn't the worst thing in the world given that the game really doesn't allow any easy transition buckets that boast team FG% IRL."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: Will You Use Real Player % Or Shot Stick Timing?
Now in a normal game I was playing I doubt that Perkins would get enough mins or touches to reach 30 ppg, but Kobe I could see having games better than 50% depending on what types of shots I take with him.
Also it should be a no-brainer that post players are going have a higher fg percentage than perimeter players (even if that perimeter player is Kobe).www.simgamingnetwork.com Come join our leagues!

Re: Will You Use Real Player % Or Shot Stick Timing?
I'd argue that it is very realistic. Kobe's highest Fg% in a season during his career is .469 back in 2001-02. Perkins career fg% is .564.

but there is a missunderstanding, i guess its because my grammar, lol
im not gotten my copy yet, so i dont know how real player % works.
the question is,, how real player % works ? If i jack up 20 shoots using Kendrick Perkins, will he get +20 points ? or not ?Comment

Re: Will You Use Real Player % Or Shot Stick Timing?
I have been getting amazing results recently with Real FG %. Some people will hate it because contested jumpers don't go in a whole lot unless you have a star who has a silky mid range game.
It really makes you work for the open shot and even then you might not get rewarded.Too Old To Game Club

My friends and I have been mixing it up. Its awesome to have options. In my opinion it takes nothing from the game either option.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Re: Will You Use Real Player % Or Shot Stick Timing?
Sure seems like it's based on a virtual stick release or something, any time my guys leave someone open they sink every basket. Jason Kidd went 6/6 for 3s last night because we kept getting wide open.Comment

Re: Will You Use Real Player % Or Shot Stick Timing?
That's one game. Nothing personal, but these types of examples hardly ever make sense. If after several games you keep seeing guys like Kidd sinking 6-6 from the 3pt line, then yes. But it was one game. Anything can happen in one game."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
