Is there a step by step on how to stream this with the 360 and make the custom tracks on the correct playlists?

I wasn't home last night but if I have time tonight to tinker I'll post basics on what I had to do...

Ok, I've read through the entire 47 odd-some pages of this thread since Day 1.

I just need clarification:

--I am on PS3.
--I understand the PS3 music is broke, so if we create Home/Away Up/Down the playlist will NOT play randomly, (it will repeat and get annoying), so it's basically broke.
--BUT, I CAN (& will) create playlist for specific players, POTG, and the halftime show (even though the halftime music only plays for around 6 seconds).

That's what I DO get!

NOW, question.....


Specific player music? I did not know that after a player hits a bucket that "specific player music" plays over the P.A. in NBA games? Is this true? I thought the Public Address announcer announced the player's name and that was it....

...someone please clarify for me so I can make the game the most authentic NBA experience out there.

Your expect...PLAYER OF THE GAME and HALFTIME does work.
But playlist don't shuffle or change. They repeat the same song. But you can make one song for specific staduims.

Is there a limit on playlists cause I have around 60 or so playlists for NHL11 but when scrolling through my playlists for 2k11, it only goes up to a certain point on the playlists I have, so I'm guessing maybe there's a limit to how much playlists the game recognizes?

I'm on ps3.

But has there been any rumored date to when the patch will come out and if it'll possibly fix this?

From fatlegs3 experience...He has said the the PS3 has a playlist limit. I think 128 was the number. I might be wrong.

So Jeebs you're on PS3, now that you have the game the sounds only work for certain things perfectly right?

Can you break down the steps as to how you transfered the sounds. Did you customize all arenas? You used Ruben's files on page 1 correct?

I'm trying to write up the different methods. But I just just haven't had the time. But I will explain what I did.

First I downloaded option #3
And copied it on my cell phone (aka your flash drive).

And then copied the file to my PS3.

Now I would make playlist. For example, I just downloaded G.Arenas player sound. I would sort through albums and find "players sounds. Go in there find the G. Arenas - Nas Got yourself a Gun. I press triangle on it. Add to playlist. And then create playlist named G.Arenas.

Now that is over. I enter the game. I go to Arenas sounds. I scroll to the Wiz staduim. Go to players and find G.Arenas and scroll until I find my playlist from above "G. Arenas". And then back out.

Its that easy.

There are other methods of getting the music off your computer on to your PS3.

Creating a playlist for every single sound sounds very time consuming, they should have just tied it into the XMB and choosing the .mp3 file. Now I have to see the list the game gives me, player names, up, down, home, away and THEN make a playlist according to each one.

Thats won't be fixed in a patch.

edit: I think the reason they changed it to one playlist. Is to make more PS3 friendly

I think 2K has some already. But it would nice to add to the players playlist. Because as it stands right now. Only 2 players have two different sounds G.Arenas (Cali love and Got yourself a gun) and Shaq (superman and 2 horns)

Is this correct - I can only pick ONE sound for Halftime and ONE song for Player Of The Game for ALL Arenas and they play in ALL the arenas....nothing can be "arena specific" for the PS3??

I just now retraced that PM. I missed all that.

I'll get on it right now. Can you rePM me the suggested placement of those. I know where the lebron chant goes, but the others are all mostly HALFTIME or POTG non reverbed? I guess you could just upload them.. I already had two other UPDATEs.. Its your call


I have some of these player sounds up to 95dB and I can still barely hear them. They are at the same dB as the in game stuff and that stuff is loud and clear. I wonder what Im doing wrong with player sounds. It sounds like they are being drowned out BIG time. jeebs, how did you get them in there sounding good?


I told myself I would stop with this editing and just play, but some of these venues sound so flawless. Im playing at WIZARDS ARENA now, and Im hearing no overlapping. Just solid crisp custom arena music.

The songs were pretty much just HIGHLIGHT/HALFTIME/POTG songs.

Like I have the NBA on NBC 90's theme for All Arenas. But for the Knicks I have the 1994 "Go New York" and For the Nets I have the Yes network theme song.

I'm hoping I can find a workaround for everything else, but it's lookin' faint.

Did you check off "add cd text"? And also what version of Itunes do yo have?
