Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music

You get a flash drive...(anything over a 2gb will do) You copy the files to the root of the memory card. You go into PS3. You'll see your USB at the top. You press triangle on the usb device. Then press "display all". Scroll to the folder. Press triangle again. then hit copy.

    Music is on the PS3.

There is another method in which you use your network to stream them from your computer and copy them over to the PS3. But in my opinion thats a little more work if you don't know what your doing.

Also the PS3 does not go to the browser or play music once the game starts. Only a few games have this feature.

2nd problem now, I deleted the playlists from the WMP library so I could re-add them but now I don't know to re-add them

rody, are there multiple playlists in WMP library with the same name? You may just have a corrupt library of stuff.. Is it possible that you can delete everything from the library and then rescan MY MUSIC (or wherever it is saved)?

Ive had to flush out my WMP library a couple times. Its a simple process. PM if you need help.

As far as dBs, I have gone up to 97dB in MP3GAIN. They say a lot of the tracks will now have clipping but I have yet to hear anything too terrible in that regards. I guess you take what you can get. Either clipping and tracks sound lively or tracks are too low and no clipping.

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music

The default location for mp3s and playlists in WMP is MY MUSIC located inside MY DOCUMENTS folder. Once they are added into that folder, You can load up WMP and do the following:

TOOLS..OPTIONS...LIBRARY...MONITOR FOLDERS... Now see what the program is monitoring as a shared folder. You may need to rescan my music folder to pick everything up in WMP.

thats the best I can explain it.

This method only works if you can stream from your COMPUTER to your XBOX.. as noted on the first page

I was able to get everything onto WMP and then onto my xbox

now i want to edit the songs so they are louder. I tried using Itunes and everytime i would send it from Itunes to WMP it would reset and be the same volume as before.

For anyone who cares, I was tweeting with someone who works for 2K11 and he said the 'Yep, the PS3 custom soundtrack glitch already fixed for patch.'

Waiting to hear when the patch will drop

Patch. God I hate that word. Us PS3 users almost had a good day though.

So, let me get this correct. PS3 users playlists will on play the one same song on the playlist, instead of randomizing between them all?? So im guessing for now I could just make a few different playlists for and spread them out over the arena???

Still a few questions as there are definately a lot more people here with more experience than me.

                            1) How many different playlists can I make on the PS3 that I can use in game now? I heard 3 different numbers.

                            2) Gator told me he could make any sound in the world, but isnt sure he can get the volumes even or make them sound like they are being played in an arena. Any suggestions in that area?

                            3) And does anyone have or planning to make the Mo Williams Godfather Speak Softly theme for his player specific. Didnt see in the downloads.

And lastly, the PS3 download from page 1 is all correct right, no corrupt files???

So far im blown away by 2k11, EA prob got their hands on an early copy and that was their real decision for cancelling Live or Elite or whatever.

This game is what a sports game should be. Im hoping that 2k picks up the college basketball license again.

But thanks guys for the hard work who made those zip files. And any answers to my questions would be appreciated.
