Even though the other events are not working right for the PS3. I've been having a ball with player sounds.

I know the shuffling problem on PS3, but the player sounds. Do they work & what do they exactly do?

Everytime the player scores. The sound will be played. Everytime G.Arenas scores a bucket. The staduim becomes fulled with "Got yourself a Gun"...LMAO

edit:It only when the player plays at home.

You might want to wait for some 360 guys to answer you on that. I don't trouble shoot the 360 lol...sorry man

thanks dawg. actually, i was just messing around with it and tha sounds are actually playing, my problem is they're extremely low and u can barely hear them with tha setting on max volume.

do you or any1 else know a program i can use to make tha songs\sounds louder? besides that i'm really liking tha extra "feel" tha custom sounds add to an already great atmosphere in NBA2k11!

So I played at Chicago last night, and the custom arena music almost didnt even seem to want to work. TIMEOUT songs were delayed almost 10 seconds on their start times. HOME UP, AWAY UP, CHANT TEAM, and CHANT DEFENSE played maybe once every 6 trips up court.

Washington on the other hand is just so responsive to every single event.

I'm really not understanding this phenomena.. I know last year some people were having arena specific issues. I'll go through a 10 min. qrt in each arena this afternoon/evening and give everyone on a 360 the full rundown. Some venues may just need their entire custom arena playlists to be turned off.

2k10Fonzarelli, Nice rundown. May I suggest using a program like media monkey, to possibly level all your tracks up a few notches in the loudness department. Either that or use a program like mp3gain (with the new file option #1), to raise the dB levels. It's hard getting all the tracks to be at the same loudness level but mp3gain does a decent enough job.. I've been able to have that program OPEN and RUNNING and FIXING tracks as I'm in my game. You have almost instant feedback when a new custom arena sound starts up with the new "dB" level.

Yeah they are pretty low. Tonight I'll be editing them to make them louder...

I have been trying to do the same myself. I am able to do it with Itunes, But when i use WMP it goes back the default

I'll be using Adobe Audition and just saving over original file.

I have one slight problem.

I got My Playlists and NBA folder in My Music and they are added on WMP, but when I am on WMP itself and I click to play the playlist to test it out..nothing comes out..but when I go manually into My Playlist folder and choose a playlist (example Celtic Long) it will play fine with no problems, but since it is not playing on WMP itself, it wn't play on my xbox either.

Any help?

2nd problem now, I deleted the playlists from the WMP library so I could re-add them but now I don't know to re-add them

Don't wanna read through dozens of pages finding the problem, what exactly is wrong with the ps3 audio(like which ones on the custom audio menu work and which dont).

I'm aware of the problem with the same song from the playlist playing all the time and the game intro playing for like 5 seconds before the tipoff but what else is wrong with the audio and which options for audio actually work?

Also, how do I add music to the soundtrack, dont believe I saw an option for that on ps3.

Did you check off "add cd text"? And also what version of Itunes do yo have?

Well right now as I type this, I'm d'ling Version 10.0 of Itunes.

But when I put the CD in my XBOX, that option didn't even come up. It went straight to the tracklisting of each song and played the CD but I couldn't burn it to the XBOX.

So I am confused. How do you get the music onto the ps3 witout burning a disc?
And for PS3 users, can you play your own music from the XMB while playing the game?
