Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
The sounds are too low?????
...why is it (for me) that the sounds are too LOUD? I don't get it...I am deciding against using them, because I'll be playing the game, score a basket like normal, and then LOOOOOOOOOOOOOUD sound booms out of the tv.....
...what can I do?Currently playing on PS5 & XBOX SERIES X:

- MLB The Show 24 - PS5

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
Though if the sound is too soft for ppl, they're lucky cause they can just lower volume of other things, but if its too loud like it is for you(and me), then it just drowns out everything else.
Can't wait to see how good the patch makes the game. If i remember correctly, didn't a patch in 2k10 make ppl love the game so much more and stated that the patch made it seem like a completely new game?Comment

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
MediaFire is a simple to use free service that lets you put all your photos, documents, music, and video in a single place so you can access them anywhere and share them everywhere.
^ here's some tracks I uploaded (it's a folder with separate files)
Here's some halftime/potg tracks:
-Stevie Wonder - Superstitious (ABC played this song during finals/playoffs right before they went to commercial break)
-Usher - More (2010 All-Star Weekend Theme)
-DJ Khaled - All I Do Is Win (instrumental w/hook only)
-Jamie Foxx - I'm A Winner (instrumental w/hook only) TNT playoff theme
Away Up/defense chant

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
The first file option #1 and #2 are basically outdated in that regard, as there are many many many different types of mp3s.
I know its not helping anyone, but it doesnt take much to download the ps3 version (which is no different than file option #2 except for the mp3s being encoded differently)... So I dont think I'll upload anything.
A lot of people are saying its too loud. some are saying its too quiet. I would go with the new file option #1 and mp3gain the files to fit your needsComment

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
I updated the first post.
There is no more OLD FILE OPTION #1 download link available. I have made it easier on everyone.
If you have downloaded the old file option #1, please check out the new one.
-NEW additions to NEW file option #1
1. All tracks are mpeg 1 layer III, so its user friendly to programs like mp3gain, to get all your tracks a few dB higher
2. M3U playlist is the new standard. They still work in Windows Media Player, and will even work on ITUNES running on a PC.
3. This file set includes all new playlists taking into account the HOME UP/AWAY UP errors present in 2k11. All CHANTs now are in a solo playlist.
4. This file set includes update #1 and update #2, adding another ~50 tracks to the total.
I have also gotten rid of file option #2. It was basically the same as file tion #3, but one fileset had been converted to work on the ps3..
So now you have two standard files to mess with, plus your two update files to be added to the last set (#2/#3).
I hope that clears up any issuesComment

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
No. Dont redownload file option #3, it's the same fileset.
The slight update is in the UPDATE #1 and UPDATE #2.
PS3 file option #3 was just a modified xbox360 file option #2 at the very beginning. I shouldve just stayed with file option #3 from the onset.
File option #2 was supposed to be for 360 and ps3 users but the ps3 is picky about its mp3 codecs (how it's encoded) so file option #3 was created. I finally realized having file option#2 is redundent as it has the same tracks.
Honestly, is it easier to download two 43mb UPDATE files than to redownload a whole new 940mb file?
I thought updates would be easier.
I changed up the entire structure of file option #1, thats why the new updates are included in that.Last edited by RubenDouglas; 10-08-2010, 01:18 AM.Comment

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
I find it surprising how there's no audio option for arena music. There's option for everything else like commentary, pa announcer, sound effects but nothing for arena music.
Though if the sound is too soft for ppl, they're lucky cause they can just lower volume of other things, but if its too loud like it is for you(and me), then it just drowns out everything else.

I don't really think the "patch" is going to solve the volume-issues - it will most likley solve the 'PS3 playlist shuffle-issue' which doesn't do any good if the tracks are too darn loud to play.
Honestly, I'd rather have the sounds "TOO SOFT", because I can raise the levels of the crowd, commentary, etc to make it sound like an actual TV broadcast - looks like I'm just gonna have to use 2K sounds.
What's everyone's 'Presentation Sound Levels'????
**I would love to hear everyone's opinon, because maybe I'm missin' somethin and can tweak it.Currently playing on PS5 & XBOX SERIES X:
