i think ill be going with murphy, his outside shot is rated a bit higher and he can play center also. always fun having a big who can hit the deep shot when he has a chance.

7 games in and we've won every other game to get off to a 4-3 start. The worst part is, we probably could be 6-1 right now if not for a couple of bad closing minutes at home against the T-Wolves and at Houston.

      Pistons: 47
      Clippers: 41
      * Led from start to finish against the Clips, despite the score being close.

      T-Wolves: 50
      Pistons: 47
      * Missed two layups in final minute and barely missed game-tying three as time expired.

      Bobcats: 31
      Pistons: 41
      * Jason Thompson leads the team with 13 points of 5-7 shooting. Nash fills the stat sheet with 6 pts, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals.

      Heat: 45
      Pistons: 38
      * Pistons led at half and held LBJ to 10 pts on 5-14 shooting, but Wade and James were both key in a 3rd quarter that saw Miami outscore Detroit 21-14

      Pistons: 50
      Bucks: 37
      * Detroit went on a 17-0 run after falling behind 12-10 and never looked back.

      Pistons: 42
      Rockets: 45
      * What could have been...Detroit fell behind 23-7 and came back to tie the game at 36 entering the 4th. Pistons had the ball multiple times in the 4th with a chance to take the lead, but couldn't do it. This one still hurts.

      Pistons: 49
      Mavericks: 46
      * Detroit led by 10 in the 4th and Dallas forced a tie with under a minute left. Pistons had the ball with 35 seconds left and Nash drove to the hoop and missed an easy layup. Somehow, Thompson grabbed the rebound and Detroit got possession again with 27 seconds left...so we couldn't quite hold for the last shot. With 7 seconds left, Nash made his move and got past Kidd. 3 Dallas defenders collapsed on Nash, who kicked it out to a wide open Ben Gordon for 3...swish. Gordon's 3rd 3 pointer of the game and Detroit led by 3 with 2.7 left. Dallas's inbounds play went to Dirk who threw up a 3 that just missed as time expired. Pistons survive a tough road game...and NBA 2k11 yet again shows its awesomeness.

6 minute quarters. Games play pretty quick and seeing as how 6 is half of 12, I'm getting pretty much half of what I would expect stat/score wise from a full game.

Steve Nash leads the Suns to Victory over the Lakers in Game 3 of the Western Conference Quarter Finals. He had 21 points with 14 assists and 6 boards in the 102-95 win. Vince Carter also added 23 and 6 rebounds despite a poor first half performance. Pau Gasol lead LA scoring with 26 to go along with 11 boards. Kobe was held under 30 for the first time in the series (he had 24). Coach Alvin Gentry changed his strategy for Game 3 and used Josh Childress to guard Kobe rather than VC. Mickael Pietrus came off the bench to spell Josh and did a great job guarding Kobe, as well.

Phoenix now has a 2-1 lead in the series.

Season1 [as] Mavs (All-30 Teams) Association:

Dallas defeats Utah at home to win game1 won of the opening playoff series.

Jason Terry was a 1st half stud in this one, finishing w/19pts in the first half. He'd cool down some in the 2nd half scoring only 9 more pts, but he was one of only 3 Mavericks in double figures.

Dirk was slow but steady through 3 qtrs w/ only 15 pts, but doubled that effort in the 4th to finish w/ 30pts while adding 11 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 blocks.

JKidd was solid in his 34 minutes of action recording a double double as well w/ 15pts and 13 assists...adding a steal and 3 rebounds too.

Despite playing 38 minutes Caron Butler was held to only 9pts on 4-12 shooting. Going to need a better effort from him in the scoring department, but he did make up for his off shooting night by filling up the stat sheet in other areas, finishing with: 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 steals and only 1 turnover.

Utah got a solid game from Big'Al w/ 23 pts, 12 rebounds, and 11-15 shooting. Deron Williams however was not as efficient. While he finished w/ 16pts he went a putrid 7-20 from the field w/ only 1 free throw attempt. Raja Bell was Utah's second leading scorer w/ 17pts. He knocked down 5 3pointers on 9 attempts...gonna have to shut that down or else Bell could kill me from outside, especially if Deron starts playing better; which is highly likely.

3 pt shooting for that matter was kind to Utah in this one as they shot 37% from 3 as a team on 11/29 shooting. I thought this was going to be a steamrolling since Utah has Millsapp out, but only a 9pt margin of victory at home has me rethinking that.

Currently 20-14 with the Knicks im early January. I just beat the Pacers 88-81 (had a 18 point lead heading into the 4th, almost fell apart).

The T-Wolves keep offering me Wesley Johnson for various players on my team. The last offer intrigued me - Johnson for Galinari and Reutins. I declined it, as I figured it was probably a tad unrealistic for the T-Wolves to be offering him.

What do you guys think? Should I go ahead and make that deal for Johnson? I like Galinari though.

                            I wouldn't do it ^

Just had probably my best game yet on my Knicks profile, against the Nuggets. Amare got knocked out on the 2nd series of the game (Out 2-4 weeks). Mid-way through the 2nd quarter, Melo was driving to the basket and I just clobbered his ***, and he left the game (he's out 2-4 weeks as well). Smith & Billups came up huge for them, both recording ovr 20 points, but Jason Richardson and Felton had something going between 'em. I got 32 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 1 block with J-Rich, while shooting 11-19 (4-6 from three). Felton got 13 points on 4-9 shooting, as well as 16 assists and 1 steal. Felton leads the league in assists I believe, with 9.3. Somehow, Felton and J-Rich aren't getting many ASG votes.
