I dont like hickson, i dont need an atlethic 4 with the way i play. I play very similarly to the old 99 lakers.

Feed the middle and get easy baskets. if i get double teamed id kick it out to my shooters for the 3.

My lineup right now in my 4th year fantasy is

Pg - Stephen Curry
Sg - Evan turner
Sf - Kevin durant
Pf - Kevin Love
C - Kendrick perkins.

6th man - Glen davis

I play an attack the basket type of half court play. Works well, only thing is at the end of season you gotta work on free throws. Other than that Davis and perkins together is beastly they are a little undersized but there physical play makes up for it.

I get an average of 30 ft's easily a game and atleast 14 blocks per game.

I'm not saying that your style of play is bad, BUT you will be eaten by ME...!!! just kidding.

I just want to ask you guys, what's the entire point of FANTASY(Draft) BASKETBALL?

Because as for me, I'm more of a realism type of guy.

i am as well, but i got bored recently so i decided to shake things up and do a fantasy draft.

I just happened to get lucky and be able to draft durant, curry, love, jason terry and kendrick perkins my first 5 picks.

6th pick was davis.

Just won the championship (Celtics) in my first year. Beat the Lakers in 6, very fun series ending in a surprising blowout. I'll take it. Finals MVP was Rondo.

Sucks that Kidd and Nash are both gone from my Association, but oh well. The Hall of Fame feature is a pretty cool touch.

Now the offseason starts, which should be really fun as I am controlling all 30 teams. I'm gonna have to rebuild the Nuggets and Suns for sure, and I'll let the CPU control Melo's destiny after I make the same offer to him with the Knicks and Nets. As for the Celtics, I am hoping to retain Perk, Big Baby and Delonte but I only expect to be able to keep 1 or 2 of them. I'll let Daniels go, even though I like him. I want more of a shooter behind Pierce next season. I may also look to deal Jermaine and/or Robinson, but we'll see.

For my association, Stev Nash still has not retired after first year

I usually pick kevin durant first, then amare but since amare wasnt available i saw that nobody picked curry. So i picked curry, then looked who was available and saw kevin love. Jason terry as my 4th pick, 5th pick kendrick perkins, 6th pick glen davis, 7th pick dragic, 8th pick damion james, 9th pick cory brewer, 10th pick hasheem thabeet, 11th was eddie house, 12th was donte green and 13th was chris hunter.

Thats how i did it. So far its an awesome trio. I lost my first year in 2nd round. And won 2nd year so far.

Although i did realize camby made my team a lot slower and great liability on the offensive end.

I ended up signing raymond felton the best around for my mid level.

Put camby and jason terry on trading block.

Nets offered me this trade, Evan turner, Deandre Jordan

For camby, felton, jason terry and eric maynor.

I hesitated at first because but i ended up doing the trade. I also ended up signing derek fisher and brad miller for minimums. I get a little older but i get some vet presence within the team.

Finally started my Association that I will run until I buy the next basketball game. I run with the Pacers in a 30 team controlled association to keep realistic trades and rotations intact. In my first game I shocked myself by beating the Spurs. Can't remember the score it was something like 101-93. My next game I beat the Bobcats 86-80. I started out the game on a 10-0 run I lead all the way until late in the 4th when they took a 78-76 lead with about 2 minutes left but my d held them and I got the win. Neither team shot real well i think I shot 41% and i held the Bobcats to 38% for the game. Up next Philly.

And Matthews is phenomenal. I ran a drill for him (+3 medium and w/e else) and put the +4 3pt shoes on him and he's averaging 28 ppg on 60% shooting and 50% 3 point shooting for me. I also put up 48 and 19 on Lakers with Deron and still lost

Batum had a nice block on Lebron last night IRL... not too many players couldve done that... unfortunately Lebron dropped 44 on one of the best perimeter defenders last night

I like that Jazz team you got... IMO you should develop Matthews and/or Batum's handle & shot off dribble as other than D Will you have nobody that can really create their own shot.

So I just passed the All-Star break. I was really excited to play the All-Star game because a few weeks before, it looked like Josh Smith would start and Horford and Joe Johnson would be reserves. I stopped looking at the votes, especially when Horford had a huge voting lead of Brook Lopez. Smith and Johnson both missed a couple of weeks with injuries, so Horford's numbers were great during their absence.

THEY ALL THREE GOT SNUBBED! Smith is in the running for DPOTY, damn it. Well, we took that fire and put it to good use and beat the #1 Power Ranking Lakers (dunno why they are above the Heat). Kobe was like 6-20 courtesy of Jamal Crawford's stifling defense.

The Louis Williams trade has been good and bad. Losing Marvin Williams has really hurt my rotation because I have a lot of solid PFs on the bench and no good SFs. I mostly use Johnson and Josh Smith at the 3, taking one out early to rest them. Brackins has been a nice edition and is emerging as my best big man off the bench (Leon Powe is getting unhappy, which sucks because he played well before he got hurt...and Josh Powell played really well when Powe was hurt and now Powell is hurt and now Brackins plays well...what a mess). Louis is playing well and seems like a future PG (sixth man for now), although he plays a bit more like Crawford than a pure PG.

PF: Smith/Horford/Brackins/Powe/Powell (inj)

ATM im watching my Bucks (5th best record in the league) get destroyed by Knicks in the 1st round of the 2012 playoffs. I played the first two and a half quarters, blowout, now ive dropped both home games, knicks take 3-1 lead back to MSG! on top of that Jennings is injured, Barea's playing crap, and Duhon cant defend!!!!!

Gonna shake up this roster in the off-season!!

Playing the Hawks in the Eastern Conference Finals. Beat The Knicks in 6 and the Bucks in 7 (they gave me fits and swept me in the regular season series).
So game one is tonight at Atlanta (they are the number 1 seed). I expect a dog fight as they have the edge at Center and PF in terms of size and rebounding. Also Jamal Crawford has been lights out this season for them.


And another note on Post Season play. It is ramped up big time. The games are tough, tight and every single possesion is so important. I lost to the Bucks on a lst second shot, beat them on a last second runner by Wade. I was sweating bullets in that series and then in game 7 pulled away for a 12 point win to close it out....but wow, very impressed with the difficulty ramp up in the playoffs.

This game again is proving to me it is truly the GOAT.

For now, we'll let Williams come off the bench. He plays as many minutes as Bibby does usually. Crawford was starting before the trade due to injuries so it was easier to just leave it be. Ditching Marvin Williams contract and getting a true future PG out of it? Seemed like a good deal to me. Plus Brackins is turning into my first big men off the bench (was great against the Lakers).

Bucks sound like they are in trouble. Maybe you can make a crazy run though? Sounds like something the real Bucks would do (though not without Jennings).

Side note: The T'Wolves traded Kevin Love (and someone else) to the Knicks for Randolph and Curry. WTF!? I'm gonna have to deal with Felton/Love/Stoudemire when Amar'e comes back from injury? Stupid Minnesota...
