Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
Yup, right now I'm observing the league. Trying to figure out how to get some early draft picks. I guess it's too early to tell, maybe after a month or two, I will be able to tell who's going for the Top 5 picks of the draft.Comment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
Rate my 2012 Nets.
PG.
Devin Harris - 78
Jordan Farmar - 70
SG.
Marcus Thorton - 73
Ervin Watkins - 71 - He's some drafted auto-generated rookie, he needs work. Can't pull up or drive, has good D though.
SF.
Carmelo Anthony - 93
Travis Outlaw - 72
Damion James - 70
PF.
Derrick Favors - 78
Brandon Wright - 65
C.
Brook Lopez - 84
Samuel Salembert - 67
Johan Petro - 57
I tried to keep things realistic as possible.Comment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
I cant remember but it last for like less than a month but it really does help and if you target a certain player it permanently improves them i think but if you use hard practices your players will fatigue causing suckier game play and more injuriesComment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
Why does it show TOR instead of CHI. I have a custom association going and the teams show up with the correct name. Example: 94-95 Bulls is CHI 96-97 Jazz is UTH. I just set it up as a Custom league and replaced the teams I didnt want.Comment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
Team: Atlanta Hawks
Year: 1
Record: 40-26
So the playoff races are heating up as we close in on the last 17 games or so for each team.
Miami - 51-14 (x)
Celtics - 41-22
Magic - 41-26
Pacers - 38-27
Hawks - 40-26
Bulls - 40-26
Bucks - 37-27
Knicks - 33-32
I really want to take that 4th spot in the East and have home court. I would like to not play the Bulls even though I've beaten them every time and still have another game against them. Its cool, its feeling intense.
I'm really trying to slow down, because I turn the ball over like a college team. I'm sure I'm crushing the league numbers as far as turnovers. I just had 23 turnovers in a game, which is a lot for an NBA team, yeah? Sometimes its just stupid passes or I'll push the wrong button, but sometimes its me thinking my player will throw a lob or a bounce and he does the opposite. Its frustrating.
What sliders do you guys use? I'm just on Sim Sliders but I imagine there are better Sliders out there.
Oh, and how do you take those screen shots?Comment

My Clippers are 1-3 at the moment, entering a string of difficult games too. With losses to the Warriors, Mavs and Spurs, the Thunder await next. Eric Bledsoe has been excellent for me providing scoring and passing off the bench and Blake Griffin...has been Blake Griffin! :wink:NFL - Giants]

Do what this man says, they are fantastic. But you do have to take care of the ball.

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
My Heat are tied 1-1 with Atlanta. We were run off the floor in game one and lost by 16. We were down as much as 30 points in the 3rd quarter. I actually went on a monster run and cut it to 12 going into the fourth, I never got closer.
Game 2 was a dog fight right from the tip off. We ended up winning 98-90 but the game was tied at 90 with a minute left. Wade hit a huge 3 to go up 93-90 with 40 seconds left. A Jamal Crawford 3pt shot missed and Bosh pulled down the last of his 17 boards. He dished to Lebron who raced up the floor as Atlanta was crashing the boards and was fouled during a layup Heat went up 96-90. Hawks take a TO...inbound and shoot..miss, Lebron board, foul......game over.
So the Eastern Conference Finals shift to South Beach for game 3.
I must say it again. The CPU is extremely tough in the post season. They are amped up, playing much tighter defense and running plays with precision. Now Playing on PS5:

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
Guys, I restarted my Cavs chise because my friend told me that Roy Hibbert is a more accomplished player than Greg Oden. So here are the moves I made:
1.) Signed A.I. for trading purposes
- I tried trading him to Hibbert but the Pacers demanded a lot. I nearly gave up on that deal but then, I came up with something.
2.) A 3-team trade just to get Hibbert without sacrificing "realism". So this is the deal I made to Hibbert:
Cavs(me) receive:
Roy Hibbert (IND)
Jeff Foster (IND)
Pacers receive:
Greg Oden (POR)
Elliot Williams (POR)
Trailblazers receive:
Allen Iverson (CLE)
Ramon Sessions (CLE)
So there, I finally have a big man that can score and defend other big man.
Though the draft this year isn't as good as I expected, I found some good prospects; 2 PG's, 3 SG's and 1 PF. I'm really having a hard time choosing on which of them fits my team.
If I choose:
PG
Pros:
-6'4'' PG - 1st time I've seen one on the draft
-Better at driving the lane than any other PG
-Just 72 OVR but his attributes are says the opposite
-88 POT
- Derrick Rose prototype
Cons:
-I have to give up Mo
-Not as great a shooter as Mo
SG
Pros:
-6'7'' - quite tall for a speedy SG
-91 Speed and 83 Quickness
-91 POT
-Kobe Bryant prototype
Cons:
-He's at the lottery pick, though can move to the Top 5
-Need some work on his shooting
PF:
Pros:
-6'11'' - not many PF on the draft who have his height
-Has a 74 medium shot
-Only 73 OVR though his attributes says different
-Has a STR of 91 - Can almost backdown anyone
-85 POT
-Tim Duncan prototype
Cons:
-Needs some work on the defensive side
-Not as mobile like any other PF in the league
So what can you say guys?Comment

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)
The cavs need a sf or sg badly id go with the sg. Hes quick hes young he got good potential. Yeah he needs work on shooting but thats easy to do. Could be a good cornerstone piece to your dynasty if you develop him right.Comment
