Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

    Which trade is more realistic?

    1) Chicago Bulls:
    James Johnson
    Taj Gibson
    Omer Asik
    Draft Picks

    Grizzlies:
    O.J. Mayo

    or

    2)Chicago:
    Taj Gibson
    James Johnson
    Kyle Korver/Ronnie Brewer
    Draft Picks

    76ers:
    Andre Igoudala

I know that i don't give them too much, but Mayo wants change team and plays really bad this year, and A.I. doesn't fit to 76ers rebuilding process and i've heard they wanted to trade him beacuse he takes Evan Turner minutes.

Just fired Kuester in my 30-team Association. Any thoughts on how to blow-up the Pistons?

Bulls vs Sixers deal looks better IMO. I'd keep Korver as your 3 point guy, Brewer can go as Iggy can play d in the game. Plus both teams IRL are trying to dump each player.

What you guys think of this trade? I'm 76ers.

            76ers trade:
            Elton Brand
            Jodie Meeks

            Pistons trade:
            Rip Hamilton
            Chris Wilcox

            Is this realistic?

I made this trade because in my 76ers association sometimes we go on scoring droughts, and I needed a instant scorer, who I could run a play for get us a easy deuce.

            My lineup is now:
            Jrue Holiday
            Rip Hamilton
            Iggy
            Thad Young
            Spencer Hawes
            6th man = Lou Williams

            Pistons lineup is now:
            Stucky
            Gordon
            Prince
            Brand
            Ben Wallace

                Rockets-2012-2013 Playoffs
Since I last posted, I surprisingly swept the thunder by slowing down the scoring machine known as durant with battier, who I inserted in the starting lineup just for defense. Then, I just let Yao and Patterson do thir thing and abuse the thunder frontcourt of ibaka and aldrich.

Moving on to the next series, I faced a kings team that was improved greatly and ran w/ a 3 guard lineup of CP3 97 OVR, Eric Gordon 85 OVR, Tyreke 89 OVR, Carl Landry 78 OVR, and Demarcus Cousins 84 OVR. They went up by 2-0 before I started using jeff green to take it down low against one of the guards, and I eventually won in 7.

Now, It's on to the NBA Finals against the atlanta hawks. They actually had johnson manning the point and that caused a huge mismatch, They took the first 2, I won one, and then they won another. The next game, I abandon the man to man for a 2-3 zone to stop the best frontcourt I've met all postseason, and that's when it came together, shutting them down and letting my rookie SG, Clayton Westbrook, go to work on jordan crawford, and he ended up with 28. Now the series is 3-2, and hopefully I can force a game seven in atlanta.

Who is in the Hawks frontcourt? That Kings 3 guard set is scary! Tyreke can really go in this game, too. Good luck, sounds like Joe Johnson is giving you trouble but make him be a good passer with the 2-3. I find the CPU always passes so well against my zones and gets open perimeter looks...

I'm taking a break from my Heat franchise who I am 31-0 with so far in my second season, though I've had quite a few close calls lately, such as trailing the Boston Celtics by 11 at the half on a Christmas day match-up, but pulled it out at the end.

Anyways, I'm starting a franchise with the Golden State Warriors tonight, will update in a day or two on if I'm any good with them.
I tried to start the Warriors franchise but the jersey's and court look terrible so I trashed it, and started a fantasy draft association with the Phoenix Suns. I decided to go young and this is what I got.

                          PG: Stephen Curry/C.J. Watson/Daniel Gibson
                          SG: Eric Gordon/Arron Affialo
                          SF: Michael Beasley/Mikael Pietrus
                          PF: Blake Griffin
                          C: DeMarcus Cousins/Channing Frye/Matt Bonner/Chris Andersen

I lost the first game 119-112 against the Trail Blazers. I know what to fix though, I just got to pound it in the post and run an inside out game. I have shooters and slashers, as well as several big men who can either shoot three's or have an excellent post-up game. Really fun and young team too. Will update when I'm farther into the season.

I am using the Chicago Bulls for the association mode.

                            Season 1

In my first year, The Bulls had the NBA best record(59-23).

The Chicago Bulls went to the playoffs and have beaten the
Knicks(first round),Bobcats (second round) and the Heat(Eastern Conference Finals

The Bulls won the NBA Championship by sweeping the the Lakers in the finals. Derrick Rose won the Finals MVP. The Bulls went to the white house to celebrate their championship with chicago native Barack Obama.

                            Season 1 Roster
                            PG: Derrick Rose/C.J Watson/Dee Brown
                            SG:O.J Mayo/Rudy Fernandez
                            SF: Luol Deng/Kyle Korver/Joe Alexander
                            PF: Carlos Boozer/Taj Gibson/Jeff Pendergraph
                            C: Joakim Noah/Glen Davis

                            Season 2

                            Season 2 roster
                            PG: Derrick Rose/Jordan Farmer/Kostas Papaddpoulous(60th overall pick)
                            SG: OJ Mayo/Rudy Fernanadez
SF: Luol Deng/Philip Hendrix(30th overall pick)
                            PF: Carlos Boozer/Taj Gibson/Glen Davis
                            C: Joakim Noah/Joel Przybilla

-Signed Joel Przybilla in the offseason:

I am currently 7-1 in my second season. Taj Gibson went out for 1-2 weeks for a separated shoulder.
Glen Davis is currently not happy with his playing time so he wants and wants to be traded. He is currently averaging 16.5 minutes. Hopefully i can trade him for a good backup SF because Philip Hendrix is not good enough backup small forward.

-Traded C.J Watson to the Nets for Jordan Farmer. Because C.J Watson was not happy with his playing time. He was averaging 18.5 minutes a game

                            My style

                            82 games
                            12 minute quarters
                            All-Star difficulity
i try to play all to all the games until the all-star break then simulate the rest of the season. Then play again in the playoffs

I just went through my 2nd offseason in my wolves association. I think after a tough season going 40-42, they are ready for a huge turnaround this 3rd year. Mainly bc of my draft and the fact that evan turner agreed to join the wolves for the mid level exception. Heres how this seasons depth chart looks.

                              PG Johnny Flynn 84ovr
                              SG Evan Turner 86ovr
                              SF Wes Johnson 83ovr
                              PF Kevin Love 81ovr
                              C Lou Craig 76ovr (2011 6th pick)
                              PF Micheal Beasly 81ovr
                              6th Jason Thompson 76ovr
                              Rp Corey Brewer 74 ovr

Not going to list the whole roster but we should b good. Went from a 79 ovr to an 86 ovr as a team. I am hoping we win 50 games and get home court in the 1st round.
I think it'll be a challenge keeping Thompson and Beasley happy on the pine.

                                PG: Stephen Curry/C.J. Watson/Daniel Gibson
                                SG: Eric Gordon/Arron Affialo

I lost the first game 119-112 against the Trail Blazers. I know what to fix though, I just got to pound it in the post and run an inside out game. I have shooters and slashers, as well as several big men who can either shoot three's or have an excellent post-up game. Really fun and young team too. Will update when I'm farther into the season.
Thats really a nice offensive team and very young also, development is coming for you
