I like what you've done with your team. I'm hoping to add a major piece at the 3,4 or 5 (Melo maybe) during the first off season with the cap space that I got from trading Arenas. Is there a way to check upcoming free agents or do I have to go team by team on the team management screen?

Thanks man, I love my team. I believe around January, an option appears under the General Manager menu and you're able to see the upcoming FA's. I did everything in my power to sign Melo during my first offseason but the Nets won the bid. I think with the us having a 15 win season, that blew our chances. After those plans fell through, I signed Spencer Hawes, Shannon Brown & Derrick Brown during the FA period & traded for Granger & Turner. I don't have any 1st rd picks for the next few yrs but I didn't plan on drafting high anyway. Good luck w/ using your cap space man.

Just started a dynasty with my Pacers and had a incredible 1st game, i beat the Spurs 106-103. Granger hit a 3 to put us up 104-103, Spurs call a timeout I steal the end bound pass with McRoberts and he gets fouled. Nailed 2 free throws and then Parkers 3 rattled off. I am still a little shocked I won. I was planning in waiting for the Patch and rashidi's rosters but with this last update I decided i could not wait any longer. Imight end up restarting after the patch gets out but I am waiting before i download it incase they screw something up like last year.

I know this has probably been discussed, but what settings do you guys use for association? I've started one but I'm sort of upset with some of the cpu trades that are happening so I was wondering what you guys play with as far as player roles, chemistry etc..

I play with the Pacers but use 30 ream control with team chemistry and player roles on. For the 1st year I only do real life trades.

On. I like the challenge of managing personalites and minutes. Just like IRL.

Ya me too but.... Do players get upset when they aren't playing due to injuries? I could of sworn they do.... If so, THAT doesn't happen in real life. Any advice would be appreciated.

Yep, their morale tends to go down more the longer they are out. I turned off injuries because of this and because injuries were happening way too often for my association. I had Juwan Howard, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh all injured within 5 games, with Bosh and Howard scheduled to be out for several weeks. It sucks because there are no injuries but it doesn't really bother me as long as my players aren't constantly going down.

Dont Sleep on Paul George. He hasnt played much in reality, but in 2kII he's potentially better than Dunleavy, Rush, and Jones, and the rest of the wings.

I'd like to take him to Rookie Of The Year but Griffin & Wall have the ball in their hands alot.

Yeah Paul George is a better player in 2k than he is in real life,lol. I do think he is going to be a very good player for the Pacers future. He has shown signs this year of what he's capable of doing. I am hoping he developes into a legit 2 guard because that where the Pacers are lacking at, other than at coach,lol. I keep expecting Rush to break out and be a top tier guard but I just not sure it's going to happen.

Well after dominating with the Lakers I decided to take over the Pacers.
I currently have
2011: 4 1st round picks (Cavs,Nugs,Jazz, and Magic), 2 2nd round picks (Cavs, Magic)
2012: 3 1st round picks (Cavs, Clips, Magic) 1 2nd round pick (T-Wolves).
I'm pretty sure that's a good amount of picks (10)

Current roster:
PG - Collison
SG - Dunleavy (Edited by myself realistically)
SF - Granger
PF - McRoberts (Edited by Rashidi's)
C - Hibbert

Backups:
PG - B Rush
SG - P George (Beast 3)
SF - G Hayward (He's doing good defensively and offense he is fine)
PF - Ryan Gomes (He's won on 2 buzzer beaters at the 3... )
C - Thabeet (Amazing)

So far I'm 7-2.

Are they gonna patch this? This patch is taking forever and we don't have a clue what's gonna be in it! I'm thinking about starting over(again) and playing with player roles off. Yeahh I turned the Roles off after 2k10 when Powell was livid about 11 minutes per game...which is extremely nice.

Just traded Kirk Hinrich to Oklahoma City for Thabo Sefolosha and a 1st rounder in 2011. I know have 3 first rounders this year (Bucks, Thunder, Wizards) and two next year (Bucks, Wizards). Also have my second rounders for both years. If I can snag Melo in free agency this offseason and have three first rounders then I will be sitting pretty for quite a few years.

I dont think Rush will ever be an AllStar but at his max he could be a productive starter....17/18 points per.

George doesnt get minutes because Dunleavy is back, Granger plays major minutes and, Rush's jump shot is better. They dont have the luxury of letting him learn on the job and play 30 mins and grow.

In my Assoc he gets 20min per and is the sixth man.
