Simmed the 1st season and turned on CPU trades only after the current date. Unhappy with Andrew Bogut's lack of production and durability with his huge contract... I made a risky trade with Dallas bringing in Racine, WI native Caron Butler and Tyson Chandler(both expiring contracts) and a 11' 1st round pick for Bogut and John Salmons.

Lakers swept Boston in the Finals with 1st seed Miami getting upset 4-2 by Cleveland in the 1st round!

    Picked up C. Delfino's team option. 1yr 3.5mil
    Resigned C. Butler to a 1yr 11mil contract with a player option.
Let Mbah Moute and Redd hit free agency.
Tried to resign Douglas-Roberts and T. Chandler but they wanted to test FA.

Bucks got the 8th pick in the lottery.
With G. Lawrence projected to go 1st overall over Irving, P. Jones, and Barnes I made a big trade that I had to split into three but I felt it was only fair to give up this much to get the #1 pick. Trading a '13 1st rounder also in exchange for a 2nd rounder when its availabe at the beginning of the season.

    Bucks get:
    1st rd 1st pick
    '13 2nd rd pick
    SF T. Outlaw 3yr 21 mil OVR 71
    C J. Petro 2yr 6.75 mil OVR 57

    Nets get:
    1st rd 8th pick
    1st rd 27th pick(via DAL)
    '12 1st rd pick
    '13 1st rd pick
    2nd rd 7th pick
    PF L. Sanders OVR 69
    SF C. Maggette OVR 72 2yr 21 mil

Then made 1 more trade before free agency.

    Bucks get:
    SG R. Hamilton OVR 73 2yr 25 mil
    '12 2nd rd pick

    Pistons get:
    T. Outlaw OVR 71 3yr 21mil

Though Rip's contract is hard to absorb... I like his veteran leadership and adds good depth to the wings. Also frees up the logjam at SF.

After FA I wound up with this roster:

    PG B. Jennings(82)/K.Dooling(66)
    SG G. Lawrence(81)/R.Hamilton(73)/Douglas-Roberts(72)
    SF C. Butler(81)/A. Kirilenko(72)/C. Delfino(68)
    PF E. Ilyasova(70)/D.Gooden(70)/K. Humphries(68)
    C T. Chandler(71)/J.Petro(57)

Good depth, a potent backcourt for years to come and plenty of veteran leadership. All vets have 2yrs or less left on their contract. Very thin at C and not sure how much trade value I have as Jennings and Lawrence are untouchable. Would like to get a 1st round pick for next year and get another C. Any suggestions?
Try picking up sean williams from free agency hes always there then trade your scrub guys for a good c like deandre jordan

My Bench minutes are like this:
      B. Diaw - 26
      T. Ford - 20
      P. George / B. Rush - 10
      J. Foster / J. McRoberts - 5
Makes sure you give Paul more minutes after the season his potential is through the roof and he makes granger a trade chip in the future id keep him over granger because his progression is almost over and paul will become the better player. You can also play diaw as a relief combo guard when the time calls for it i think hes the most all around player (tied with AK47 and lamar odom but diaw is the youngest) on the game brandon rush is also another he can play 1-3 jeff foster is old and Mcroberts is fun to use plus he 23. Tyler is awsome but injury prone. and Hibbert is a post general but also injury prone

Right now I'm just playing the marquee matchups.

It's been a pain in the *** doing all the editing, but last night it really payed off because I had a great game with the Knicks and Celtics. Rondo played as close to real life Rondo as I've seen.

I still have a long way to go but once I get everything done, I'm going to take over one team and use them the entire season (while still keeping control of the other 29 teams for the most part).

I have been thinking about using the Knicks as my team and thought about trading Wilson Chandler. I toyed with a few ideas like sending him to Cleveland for Anderson Varejao or Detroit for Tayshaun Prince (there were other pieces in both deals to make the salaries work), but for now I decided against it. I'd have to end up adding Eddy Curry to the deal and I feel Chandler and Curry's expiring are too much value to only be adding Varejao or Prince to the Knicks' 8 man rotation.
Hey, once you get done doin everything could you save a 30 team association and maybe put it on a flash drive or somethin and email it to me? The Miami Heat have kept their team for the most part intact heading into their 2nd season in my Association as NBA Champs!

The Heat said goodbye to Big Z as he was frustrated at his dimished role in the post season. They also said goodbye to Eric Dampier and Jamal Maglorie. In the draft the Heat may have landed a super sleeper at C in 7'4' Mo Timmerman out of New Mexico. The Heat heavily scouted this kid and brought him in for pre-draft workouts. They also used some bonus points from their successful season to increase his rebounding and inside presence. He will be coming off the bench to start the season as Joel Anthony once again is the starter. Juwan Howard was brought back for one more season as the veteran presence in the middle. The biggest splash the heat made was signing free agent center Tyson Chandler who promptly broke his foot in the pre-season and is out for 4 weeks. They Hope Chandler can recapture some his skills from a few years ago with the Bulls.

The Heat opened the season in NY against the Knicks. They took a 15 point first quarter lead but the Knicks stormed back and blew out the Heat by eighteen winning 115 - 97. A lone bright spot was Mo Timmerman's debut scring 15 and pulling down 10 boards.

The Heat then went to New Jersey on the second night of a road back to back to open the season and blew the Nets off the court in a nice rebound win 102- 90. Chris Bosh paced the Heat with 25 points and 12 boards and Mike Miller poured in 17 points and grabbed 10 big boards. Lebron was his usual solid self pouring in 22 grabbing 8 boards and dishing out 7 dimes. Dwayne Wade is of to a slow start as he added 13 points and is averaging 12 PPG in 2 games. Mario Chalmers continues his ascent as a quality starting PG dishing out 9 dimes and scoring 9 points.

The Heat goes on the road again tonight to Orlando.

I'm running with the Bulls, 52-30 in the 1st season, good for the 4th seed. Rose was a monster, averagins 28 points with nearly 10 dimes, shooting 50-43-80

Just finished game 1 against the Magic, destroyed them 123-112, was up by 22 at the start of the 4th. Rose onde again led my team, with 26 points, 15 dimes and 7 boards, with the help of 3 long shots and with the help of Korver, that out of the bench scored 23 points (6-10 3PT)

My team looks something like this:
              Rose | Watson
Mayo | Henderson | Mo Pete
              Jeff Green | Korver
Boozer | Ross )D-leaguer, C+ across the board)
Noah | Splitter | Cook (another D-leaguer, 7'4 with B- in Inside Scoring, Post D, Rebound and Athleticism)

Deandre Jordan's value on the game is underrated IMO
He's an exciting player to watch with alot of potential... really would like to have him on the team....
I dont know if I really have anyone that the Clippers would realistically take for D. Jordan.

Im regretting giving up Bogut for Butler, Chandler and a low 1st round pick.
My team has little youth outside of the backcourt and after trading my 1st round picks for the next two years for the 1st pick its going to be really hard to find quality frontcourt players outside of the draft. I have alot of cap flexibility in the next two years just very little trade value outside of Jennings and Lawrence who are untouchable at the moment.
I may have to trade Jennings and an expiring for a good PF as Lawrence is going to be handling the ball alot in my offense anyway.

I have more depth than I really need... I just gotta figure out who I can use to get a quality bigman(PF or C). D. Jordan would be a start but he isnt going to make a huge difference offensively nor is Chandler.

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

I started my association with the Knicks, it's actually up in the Dynasty HQ. I lost Amar'e with an ankle injury within the 1st 2 minutes of the season. He is declared out for 2-4 weeks. He's projected back sometime at the end of November. After that game I went 0-5 before winning 2 straight. I'm currently sitting at 3-5.

Most of the team has been inconsistent, occasionally I will have a good game from a bench player, but the inconsistency without Stoudemire is hurting me. One game Gallo will be on fire and the next game, I can't hit a 15-footer. Wilson Chandler has been solid, and I would love to keep him throughout this association going into next season too. Gallo I can live without. Anthony Randolph is huge for me off the bench. He's solid defensively and works well with the pick and roll. I can't hit jack squat with Landry Fields, even though in my last game against the Bucks he went 8-8 from the field. Before that he was averaging 8 points a game.

One day I can't stand Raymond Felton and the next I adore him.

Managed to continue on with my Orlando Magic Association.

Now currently sitting at 9-2. I've played every game. ( Lost to Charlotte Bobcats 100-96 and to New Jersey Nets 72-65, that game was such a drag ).

                    Current team statistic leaders are;

                    Points:

                    D. Howard - 22.4,

                    Assists:

It's taking some time, but Mozgov is developing an inside game. Once it's as good as Curry's, I'll start him over Turiaf.

Amar'e's leading the league in scoring for the second straight year. Barring a major injury, he's in line to win another MVP. Fields is still leading the Sixth Man voting.

Right now I am in my second season with Golden State. I only have 1 player left off the original team. Won the NBA finals the year before. I am playing on All Star with simulation settings (I moved 3pts up a couple points though), 10 min quarters at 72 game speed. Right now I am 18-2 including an **** 150-148 3 OT loss to the Lakers which I hit 22 3 pointers in the game. Couldn't stop Bynum who ended up with 51 points. My team is completely top heavy this year compared to last as I had clear a little space and a couple players didn't want to resign due to the little playtime I gave them. After some wheeling and dealing I ended up with this all-star starting 5.

                        PG-Stephon Curry (15 ppg 13 apg) 89 overall
                        SG-Lebron James (31 ppg 6 rbg 6 apg) 99 overall
                        SF-Kevin Durant (23 ppg) 96 overall
PF-Kevin Love (14 ppg 9 rpg) 79 overall (Minnesota dropped his rating down)
                        C-Brooke Lopez (18 ppg 10 rpg 3 bpg) 86 overall

My starting 5 usually plays about 34 of the 40 min. My team is a complete run and gun type. Lots of turnovers. I had Pau Gasol last year, but kevin love is a much better fit for my team since my PF plays outside more and plus Gasol's contract was just to hard to eat. My bench consists of 4 rookies (3 first 1 second). I have one more year after this year with this team before I have to drop someone. Next year I will be able to clear some cap space when I get rid of Darko and Korver. I also have 3 first rounders next year with probably two lottery picks. I am going to trade up for at least top 5 draft pick if i don't end up with one.

                            PG-Stephon Curry (15 ppg 13 apg)
                            SG-Lebron James (31 ppg 6 rbg 6 apg)
                            SF-Kevin Durant (23 ppg)
                            PF-Kevin Love (14 ppg 9 rpg)
                            C-Brooke Lopez (18 ppg 10 rpg 3 bpg)

This is so unreal, how did you even get them?

D. Jordan would be a start but he isnt going to make a huge difference offensively nor is Chandler.
idk about offensive centers.. My O is guard driven..

Lots and lots of trading. I have had Blake Griffin, Demarcus Cousins, Pau Gasol, Andrew Bogut, and others that I can't think of on my team. I had maxed my opportunity with trades by picking up draft picks too. Every single day on the calender I would try some kind of trade and somedays they would go through. The biggest steal was Durant. The Thunder kept saying everyday that they wouldn't trade Durant for anything, but out of the nowhere they decided to accept David Lee, Biedrins, and 1st round draft pick. I think their starting center went out for the season. Lebron took a lot of work including some 3 team trading but I got him for Monta Ellis (went to the Lakers) and Demarcus Cousins (who I got for absolutely nothing). I don't remember how I got Brooke Lopez, but it wasn't much. I have pretty much changed the entire landscape of the NBA with my trades.
