    Side Note

    Raising Durability, Injury rate and Severity

    will finally stop players from playing and starting in all 82 games...This should help records (prolly not HCA) and progression

    No more than 9 players per team (9 and under) played all 82 games and atleast one starter didnt play all 82 games per team (most I say was 4 starters played in all 82 games and it was only 3 teams)

    In Real Life, The LA Lakers Had 4 players play in all 82 games last year a 1 player starting in all 82 games (Derek Fisher)

    Play with the setting to get what you like

    Not sure how those settings affect played games...

      soundsgood, now we just need people to pump out useable draft classes and save them to 2Kshare so I can just sit back and enjoy all the hard work
      and... BOOM goes the dynamite!

        Folks, when you post results mention the platform.

        Whereas the simmed playoffs on PS3 had the severe HCA, on PC so far it's not there.

        There have been sweeps, lots of road wins, and fewer blowouts.

          Exactly...I'm at work now, I'm interested to see if using gamecast would help the HCA problem.

          Gosens...have u figured out if hca is evident in games played as well?? I thought about running chise with heat, and play a game @ NJ, and one @ Miami and see the results. Obviously should beat them easily both times. Maybe someone could run this test for gms played since I'm at work and won't be able to tonight anyway. Would lik to know if hca is evident for gms played too.

            Also if anyone likes the Morale and Player Role feature but gets upset when guys who wouldnt complain about PT IRL, just change their Personality (Laid back is fine one for Manu)

            Personality affects the off court stuff

            Emotions in the ratings, affect the on court stuff

            Use your options...

              So for example (I haven't checked), if Lamar Odom was complaining about non starting, you would change his personality to Laid Back and it would change the PT complaints?

                Ok good point...but wouldn't just be easier to turn them off instead of going thru all that? Cuz ur talking about changing cpu players too. Turning everyone to laid back sees pointless and morale loses its feature imo with that. But ican see where u want it on and try to adjust somehow. I'll just leave it off personally, no big deal to me.

                  I didnt say turn everyone to laid back

                  Someone like nat Rob who's rated high coming off the bench, him being labeled as expressive is technically not right (Its no diff from editing ratings)

                  We all know Nate is expressive on the court and this is where the emotions rating comes in effect

                  Also this is a suggestion to people who LIKES the feature but doesnt think guys like Crawford, Manu and the Celtics bench complaining about PT is realistic

                    He's not saying change everyone to laid back personality. Just the guys that you personally don't think should be complaining about playing time like a Manu or Jason Terry.

                          I'm sure they know. Even though they might not reply, they have their eyes all over these boards and other ones.

                            Thanks for the response.... I was hoping that they had commented on it and whether or not it will be patched and when.... itching to start my association, but I may pick a side team to do until it gets fixed...

                              Alright guys, I did some extensive researching, I hope you like reading...

                              So, before I started the first season, I turned off player roles and team chemistry, I also turned off the trading deadline to see if we can get more trades year two and beyond, here are the results...

                              They wouldn't let me check standings after the season ended so sadly I can't do HOME/AWAY records for the first season

                              Best records in the NBA

                              Miami Heat : 59-23, 103.8 PPG, 93.7 PAPG

                              Boston Celtics: 53-29, 101.3 PPG, 98.6 PAPG

                              Orlando Magic: 51-31, 99.4 PPG, 95.4 PAPG

                              LA Lakers: 51-31, 101 PPG, 94.5 PPG

                              OKC Thunder: 50-32

                              Dallas Mavericks: 50-32

                              Now we get to the interesting part, trades. All I have to say is holy hell; I don't know if it's because I left the trade deadline off, or because chemistry or morale is off, but there were a lot more trades than usual the first season, some head scratchers also.

                              I was the 76ers BTW, but I let the CPU handle every aspect of the organization.

                              Holy trades BATMAN!! about 7 trades made after the deadline, but there were still a lot more than usual. The usual Suns blowup took place, but i'm utterly shocked about the Knicks sending STAT to the Thunder, just... wow. Hopefully with the deadline off, we'll see a lot more trades taking place by year three...

                              Andrew Bynum - Torn Meniscus - OUT

                              Lakers only team on this list, damn. Sucks for the #2 seed in the west..

                              NBA Playoffs

                              Alright, here we are at the 2010-2011 playoffs. I'll be using gamecast simulation for EVERY SINGLE game to see if it helps the ridiculous HCA bug. First, let's look at the seedings..

                              West
                              (1) Denver
                              (8) Memphis

                              (4) Dallas
                              (5) Houston

                              (3) Oklahoma City
                              (6) Utah

                              (2) LA Lakers
                              (7) San Antonio

                              East
                              (1) Miami
                              (8) New York

                              (4) Chicago
                              (5) Indiana

                              (3) Orlando
                              (6) Atlanta

                              (2) Boston
                              (7) Charlotte

                              Seedings look food for the most part, except Indiana surprisingly sneaking into the playoffs..

                              Let's look at the Denver Vs. Memphis matchup using gamecast simulator

                              Game 1 at Denver: Nuggets win 121-106.

                              Game 2 at Denver: Nuggets win 100-86

                              Game 3 at Memphis: Memphis wins 109-80

                              Game 4 at Memphis: Nuggets win 92-77

                              Game 5 at Denver: Nuggets win 117-90

                              Nuggets take the series 4-1. It did look like HCA was still in affect for the most part except game 4 in Memphis. That's just one series though so let's move onto the Dallas and Houston matchup.

                              ========================================

                              Game 1 at Dallas: Mavs win 106-87

                              Game 2 at Dallas: Mavs win 113-91

                              Game 3 at Houston: Rockets win 97-81

                              Game 4 at Houston: Rockets win 89-79

                              Game 5 at Dallas: Mavs win 104-96

                              Game 6 at Houston: Rockets win 91-81

                              Game 7 at Dallas: Mavs win 107-85

                              Typical NBA 2K11 playoff sim results. With this series it seems that simming through gamecast does nothing.. Let's move on though shall we. Still some hope left.

                              =========================================

                              Up next is the Thunder Vs. Jazz

                              Game 1 at OKC: Thunder win 107-90

                              Game 2 at OKC: Thunder win 92-57

                              Game 3 at Utah: Jazz win 93-73

                              Game 4 at Utah: Jazz win 97-83

                              Game 5 at OKC: Thunder win 100-73

                              Game 6 at Utah: Jazz win 98-85

                              Game 7 at OKC: Thunder win 98-83

                              ..... Sigh ....

                              ============================================

                              Lakers and Spurs are next...

                              Game 1 at LA: Lakers win 114-74

                              Game 2 at LA: Spurs win 109-98

                              Game 3 at SA: Spurs win 109-65

                              Game 4: at SA: Spurs win 115-72

                              Game 5 ar LA: Lakers win 98-96

                              Game 6 at SA: Lakers win 92-87

                              Game 7 at LA: Lakers win 120-92

                              Much better results, each team stole one on the road, but I knew once game 7 came around the Lakers would win, in a blow out no less..

                              =================================================

                              East first round now, first is Miami and NY... this should be interesting..

                              Game 1 at Miami: Heat win 120-93

                              Game 2 at Miami: Heat win 109-77

                              Game 3 at New York: Knicks win 110-95

                              Game 4 at New York: Knicks win 103-94

                              Game 5 at Miami: Heat win 113-98

                              Game 6 at New York: Knicks win 95-86

                              Game 7 at Miami: Heat win 98-57

                              So, anyone else shocked this went 7 games? I'm sure as hell not and the Knicks don't even have Stoudemire! Anyone else shocked game 7 was a blowout? I'm sure as hell not.

                              ================================================== ==

                              Chicago and Indiana next..

                              Game 1 at Chicago: Bulls win 114-87

                              Game 2: Chicago: Bulls win 103-86

                              Game 3 at Indiana: Pacers win 97-88

                              Game 4 at Indiana: Pacers win 105-79, lol

                              Game 5 at Chicago: Pacers win 96-93

                              Game 6 at Indiana: Pacers win 100-76

                              I knew as soon as the Pacers got lucky and stole game 5 on the road, this series was over, and how shocking, they won it in a blowout at home..

                              ==============================================

                              Orlando and Atlanta next..

                              Game 1 at Orlando: Magic win 125-105

                              Game 2 at Orlando: Magic win 102-73

                              Game 3 at Atlanta: Hawks win 94-73

                              Game 4 at Atlanta: Hawks win 110-82

                              Game 5 at Orlando: Magic win 112-75

                              Game 6 at Atlanta: Hawks win 126-95

                              Game 7 at Orlando: magic win 107-97

                              What a shocker, the Magic who only averaged 99 PPG during the season, dropped over 105 at every game AT HOME during the first round.. O, and another game 7 series! Man the NBA really is exciting this year with all these at home blowouts causing 7 game series.. Not.

                              =======================================

                              Next we have Boston and Charlotte

                              Game 1 at Boston: Celtics win 99-90

                              Game 2 at Boston: Celtics win 108-71

                              Game 3 at Charlotte: Bobcats win 103-96

                              Game 4 at Charlotte: Bobcats win 96-80

                              Game 5 at Boston: Celtics win 117-75

                              Game 6 at Charlotte: Bobcats win 85-76

                              Game 7 at Boston: Celtics win 108-72

                              This is serious just laughable at this point...

                              ================================================

                              Second round in the West, first we have Denver taking on Dallas..

                              Game 1 at Denver: Nuggets win 110-92

                              Game 2 at Denver: Nuggets win 114-100

                              Game 3 at Dallas: Mavs win 101-87

                              Game 4 at Dallas: Mavs win 107-85

                              Game 5 at Denver: Nuggets win 93-68

                              Game 6 at Dallas: Nuggets win 105-97

                              Man, are the Nuggets the only team in the NBA that can consistently win the on the road? They advance to the West finals..

                              ============================================

                              Lakers Vs. Thunder..

                              Game 1 at LA: Lakers win 82-77

                              Game 2 at LA: Lakers win 102-97

                              Game 3 at OKC: Thunder win 96-76

                              Game 4 at OKC: Lakers win 85-81

                              Game 5 at LA: Lakers win 112-70

                              Better results for sure, but just look at the blowouts. A Thunder team with Kevin Durant, Westbrook and Amar'e Stoudemire wouldn't get blow out like that. IDC if they're on the road or not..

                              ================================================

                              Miami and Indiana next..

                              Game 1 at Miami: Heat win 110-96

                              Game 2 at Miami: Heat win 118-98

                              Game 3 at Indiana: Pacers win 99-70

                              Game 4 at Indiana: Pacers win 114-90

                              Game 5 at Miami: Miami wins 124-110

                              Game 6 at Indiana: Heat win 83-64

                              Road wins only come if you're an elite team apparently..

                              ================================================== =

                              Boston and Orlando next..

                              Game 1 at Boston: Magic win 107-93

                              Game 2 at Boston: Celtics win 95-89

                              Game 3 at Orlando: Magic win 90-83

                              Game 4 at Orlando: Magic win 107-83

                              Game 5 at Boston: Celtics win 113-96

                              Game 6 at Orlando: Magic win 115-93

                              Celtics doomed themselves losing game 1 at home, I knew the Magic wouldn't drop one at home... But who didn't know that?

                              ============================================

                              Western Conference Finals, Lakers and Nuggets

                              Game 2 at Denver: Nuggets win 117-82

                              Game 3 at LA: Nuggets win 98-91

                              Game 5 at Denver: Nuggets win 127-92

                              .... Nothing to even say about that game 2 and 5 score.. Just... ugh

                              Game 2 at Miami: Heat win 108-74

                              Game 3 at Orlando: Magic win 119-86

                              Game 4 at Orlando: Magic won 116-78

                              Game 5 at Miami: Heat win 114-80

                              The NBA: Where blowouts happen..

                              ================================================== =

                              NBA finals, Heat Vs. Nuggets

                              Game 1 at Miami: Heat win 108-85

                              Game 2 at Miami: Heat win 112-89

                              Game 3 at Denver: Nuggets win 99-86

                              Game 4 at Denver: Nuggets win 113-88

                              Game 5 at Denver: Nuggets win 121-95

                              Game 6 at Miami: Heat win 126-84

                              Game 7 at Miami: Heat win 107-75

                              So, who called this result at the beginning of the series? Home game blowouts; I sure as hell did.

                              Seriously who thought of this idea? I mean, in principle it's a great idea but why overdo it by such a huge margin? I was doing these results and my emotions went from hopeful to angry by the time I finished the finals. Just ridiculous they could break this..

                              I'll do the off-season next and report to you guys my findings, then ill sim the next season and see how many trades take place and if the home and away records are still wonky. If there's any indication from the playoff results, they will be..

                              ===============================

                              Draft day trades..

                              76ers trade the 3rd pick of the first round and Andres Nocioni to the Bucks for Gilbert Arenas and the 7th pick in the second round.

                              Nuggets trade the 23rd and 29th pick in the second round to the Cavs for Willie Green

                              Funny note, the Cavs drafted a guy named Michael Jordan

                              First pick in the draft was a PG, 83 Overall, second pick was a SG, 82 overall

                              ==============================================

                              One elite Free agent this off-season, Carmelo Anthony. Big drop off after that with the next two best players avaialble being Caron Butler and Zach Randolph.

                              Melo signed with the Wizards..

                              A few off-season trades happened according to the news on NBA.Com ... I can't go into the transcactions page and see them, but, the Heat traded to get Jason Kidd so there lineup now looks a little something like this..

                              PG- Jason Kidd

                              So, after the season sim, road records are still out of whack and crazy low, only 3 teams finished with a winning road record, the Heat, Hawks and Grizzlies.. I'm not going into records, this is just crazy

                              =================================================

                              Kobe led the league in PPG with 33.8

                              Wallace led in rebounds with 13.3

                              Rondo led in assists with 9.7

                              =================================================

                              0 Trades, yep, 0 trades all season... I said 0... 0 trades, once again, 0 trades..

                              =================================================

                              Grizzlies beat the Heat in 5 games to win the NBA finals..

                              1 Sweep

                              7 games went to 5

                              1 game went to 6

                              1 sweep

                              Better results than last year, but still a bit out of whack when looking at the scores.

                              The thing that got to me most was the trades. 0 trades; 2K seriously needs to tone down the incoming rookies in the patch if they're whats really making the trades thing happen like this..

                              I'm done with my research for now, it's angering me to see how broken this mode is. If you guys have any more requests, i'll do some more testing later.

                                You and jukeman absolutly say the truth!
                                Change players personalities is not a difficult task and in 2k roster this rating is way pff for so many players!
                                And I'm sure that when Perkins will come back healthy,one between Shaq JO and Big Baby will not tpoo happy about his minutes...
