Not sure if it's been mentioned....but it wld be great to have the full finger wraps black/white as an accessory option for all players eg ( mj 93/97 finals ... Kobes chewed up finger. I know u can put the double plaster wraps but it's not the same.

That's exactly what I noticed from Mavericks vs heat videos. I think there maybe even three short socks (Caron Butler's sock size).

Stockton's face needs revamping, doesn't look good.

Wilt should be wearing shin pads over his high socks and the 1964-65 Celtics jersey should have a black stripe in tribute to owner Walter Brown (who died before the season).

2K has just got the regular calf sleeves fixed. Do realize how much time it would take them to create Wilt's pads just for him? Haha...

But you're right, it definitely adds to the authenticity.

I agree, but it may be the eyes. It's amazing how different eyes change the whole face. Put 2K8's eyes on 2K7's players and you get amazing faces like never before.

Yeah I know right, lol. Baby steps. Layering would probably throw off some normal stuff. I'm still waiting for them to separate the wrist/forearm/elbow/bicep and ankle/calf/knee for accessories. Seems simple, but obviously it's not the way it should be for a reason.

2k has actually had a problem with accessories since the Dreamcast days(which I still have and play once in a blue).

I'm not sure about the Dreamcast (never had one), but I played them all on the PS2 since 2K2. I think that in 2K2 and 2K3 accessories were part of the art, so players had some signature accessories and it all looked pretty good. 2K4 started the accessory "revolution" for 2K (but that's not the real reason why remember 2K4 so well...).

It may seem small to most, but visuals play a big part in the whole experience, for me. When I saw how they fixed the sock/calf sleeve on the PC version, it made the game look that much better. On the consoles, NBA 2K can be the the prettiest and ugliest game at the same time. You see something in the game and say "wow, that really looks great", then you see another part of the game and say "umm...this is a PS3/Xbox 360 right?" (coaches, dancer girls, etc.).

Let me clarify, as a whole and for the most part, the accessories in 2K were ok and some players did have accessories that were a part of the art. I'll have to check, but maybe it was just with created players because I remember puting an elbow band/knee pad on someone and it being glitchy to where it looked stretched out and distorted "in game".

With the technology they have now, 2K could easily give us literally every possible accessory and add a slider to them. So that we can position them in any position of the arm and the leg we want, and even have them layered.
