Michael Jordan needs to have the same abilty, but from the SG position.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (Lew Alcindor) should be able to sky hook from anywhere on the floor. His post fade animation should be a skyhook (not a fadeaway jumper)

I hope defenders can hand check offensive players, now that I now that some old rules like no 3 pointers, jump balls to start every quarter, different time on the shot clock are in.

Re: Attention to Detail in NBA's Greatest Mode

I wish 2K would let us edit facial features like hair because if I play a season with the '92-'93 Bulls which I probably will, I'd like to give Jordan that goatee he had for a little while during that season.

And isn't MJ supposed to have a black wrist band for that season? In the starting lineup picture he has a red one on, but I thought for that season he started going with the black one for the most part for home and away games.

MJ wore the black elbow band from the start of the 1991 Eastern Conference Semifinals up to 1996-97, were he wore a black elbow band for home and a red one for away games. He then switched back to all black during the last games of the 1998 Eastern Conference Finals.

                    Aloncho--

I know 2K can match-up the 89 Bulls vs the 93 Hornets in their video(s) and it NOT be a mistake, but I'm getting a little worried here...

...it keeps on looking like the '93 Bulls have the heavy gloss number / name jerseys--in the "Greatest" video and by MJ's jersey in the starting line-up screen. At first I was thinking they are just showing the 89 Bulls when I saw the video, but since I saw the lineup screen and watched the video again, I'm thinking that maybe they didn't give the 93 Bulls the sewn-on name and number jerseys. I really hope I'm wrong.

Bill Russell should have the ability to catch the ball after he blocks a shot.

Hopefully it's just a placeholder. Everyone who watched NBA basketball in the early 90's pretty much knows that 1992-93 was the year the Bulls switched to the sewn letters, logos and numbers on their jerseys and shorts.

They also took away the white outline from the Bulls logo had on their home shorts:

                        1991-92

                        1992-93 and onwards

I'm not expecting too much from 2K at this point, so who knows?

They gave the 1992 Blazers unis a red waist band last year so...

Looking at a lot of these old basketball cards brings back so many memories. I still have some in my attic. Particularly those early 90s UD cards. Those were nice looking cards. Will have to dig those up and see what remains of that collection. This thread has a lot of great info. Just hope they pay a little more care to the blazers squad. Not enough TLC in '11. Kersey looked atrocious.

Has anyone else noticed the photo of Kersey that 2k used for the pre-game intro where it'll show a player from each team with their averages. He looks like he just got kicked in the groin or something in the pic they used.
