Do you get a milestone each time you get it. For example scoring 50 points in a game...or is it a one shot dealComment

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
Has anyone had a problem with minutes & buzz rating in My Player? I have a SG that is averaging 26.9 ppg 5.2 rebounds, 5.7 assist, and 2.8 steals. The game is killing my Buzz rating going into the 2nd game before all-star weekend I had a league buzz of 85 and fan support of 85, I play that game and my buzz jumped to an 86 league and 85 fan still my chemistry is 95 btw, so I sim the next game which we win and play the rookie game, my league buzz dropped to a 64 and fan became a 61 mind you my stock is rising and been rising. I made the all-star game as a reserve played that game my buzz for league is a 65 and fan support is a 62...that's one problem I am having.
Next problem is the game after the all-star break I play and what do you know my guy is back on the bench getting 12 minutes a game...so I'll like ok whatever, then the next game after that he rides the pine again, it's like the game reverted me back to the beginning of My Player now I have to fight my way into the starting line-up again anyone else have this problem? All that damn hard work just to be thrown back on the bench with lower buzz rating than what I've had...Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
Ok this is going to be my last time trying to make a my player that is a beast, get frustrated with this years game. Can you guys help me out? What position (PG,SG,SF), height, weight, play style is the easiest to make into a beast but not cheesy. Also can you help me with game strategies? I would appreciate the help!Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
Created a SG named Jack Sharp. I decided to say no to each of the 3 teams intervewing me, with hopes that I could get drafted by an actually good team. And I did - I went 25th overall to the Mavs.
I've never actually played NBA 2K before, so I'm kinda learning as I go. I'm not very good, but I can already see how deep and well-made this game mode is. As a big MLB The Show fan, this mode is miles ahead of Road to the Show.Comment

I made a 6'11'' Faceup Center, who plays the PF as well. I average roughly 25 pts per game, and 16 rebounds. Once you know what you're doing, you can easily dominate the game without too much cheese.NBA - CHICAGO BULLS
NFL - CHICAGO BEARS
NCAA - KANSAS JAYHAWKSComment

I'm not sure if those three are the only positions you're open to, but if you're wanting a beast here is what I did:

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
You can't really have a guide on how to make one but with my SF I made him 6'8 250 scoring. I put all of my first skill points in shot medium then put them where I felt I needed it after thatComment

I think that regardless of what position you make him, going athletic seems to be a good starting point. Yes, your jumper is going to be brutal but you can raise it pretty quick. That's just me though, in the end you'll be good at all facets of the game anyways.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
That is what I did for mine. I created a athletic SF. I didnt even attempt shots, so I didnt worry about jumpers. But, it only took about 3-5 key games plus a big milestone to get a reliable shotComment

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread
Probably not until weekend, but I plan on starting a new PG career. I plan on doing a CAL PG. I am doing that because CAL doesnt have the draft glitch. Because of that I dont have to worry about which team I goto.
I plan on being rated very similar to where I start off in MP, but make a dribbling better to start off. I dont like just having Average to start off with. But, I dont plan on making it easy to start off with.
I can go to a team like Suns and not worry about team not getting talent in draft.Comment
