But in your teams case, its a great pickup
Yeah I know that the Lakers wouldn't trade Fisher in real life, but in the game I get annoyed by him since he's old, slow and isn't a good defender against quicker guards. Also the Brooks pick up was necessity to me, because in the game he's dangerous from the perimeter and can still drive if necessary.

You could be the Magic and trade Howard for him. There's not tons of scenarios where you could get Lebron with it being that realistic, but this seems the most realistic

Seems weird that out of the trades, the most unrealistic one you point is trading Fisher. There's no way that the Net would trade Brooks and same with Barea unless they got a really good piece, which I doubt they did. BTW, saying that Brooks could be a top five scorer seems like a big stretch thing to say. He could develop into a guy who can score, ala Jamal Crawford, but seems like a bit of stretch to say that he could put up 25 points a game efficently

Bad blood between LeBron and DWade, it's still Wades team and the Heat will take over James everytime. Maybe a fight after another playoff choke

Well Its unrealistic in the terms that Fisher wont be traded. I didnt see who he got rid of for Brooks, and I said I personally wouldnt trade for him, and I never said it was realistic. I just said for what he was doing in terms of having him replace Kobe was an idea I liked a lot.

Saying anybody can score 25 a game efficiently can be considered a stretch. Its called a prediction. I feel if he has the opportunity to play 35-40 minutes a game he has the potential to be a big time scorer. I never said he would. Its no different than people predicting anything else. If he ends up only being a 15 ppg type of guy, then fine, but I feel he just has the scoring ability to potentially become a great scorer. He averaged 25 a game in college, and obviously thats different, but clearly he has been a scorer in his past and thats a big reason teams like him

I was thinking about running a Nets association and trading D-Will.

Was hoping to frame something with Houston in mind, something like

                      D-Will
                      Morrow
                      Fill

                      Patterson
                      Martin
                      Dragic

Is that a reasonable return for D-Will?

WEEK 2: INJURY BUG HAS NO MERCY

Game 1: AND THEN THERE WERE NONE...
                        JAZZ-96 HEAT-107
Jazz were getting ready to play Heat, but setting the tone for the game to come, first, Earl Watson got injured before the game started (severe ankle sprain, 2-4 weeks). So my decision to take him as 12th man instead of Hayward was reversed. 1 minute into the game, CJ Miles gets a sprained shoulder, and is out for 4-6 weeks. Yep, just that kind of game. Jazz still produced with their team, and the game certainly was a good one. Devin Harris had 22 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists. Burks had 16 points and 2 steals. Josh Howard had 16 points in 22 minutes, even though he was plagued with foul trouble. But Dwayne Wade produced at an MVP level. Wade had 38 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal and 3 blocks. James had his usual stats (19pts, 6rebs, 7asts, 1stl) and Chalmers chipped in with 17 points, 4 rebounds, 8 assists, and a steal. Eddy Curry even had a good game, with 14 points and 5 rebounds. A key role to Miami's win was a 32-12 3rd Quarter surge.
                        ON ANOTHER LEVEL
Millsap and Jefferson weren't exactly scorers in this game, with both being under 10 points, but they put the Heat's 4's and 5's (including Bosh) to shame. Dwayne Wade had 12 rebounds, and that was 2 less than all 4 centers, COMBINED. Paul Millsap had 13 rebounds, and Al Jefferson had 17 of them. Both Millsap and Jefferson each had 4 blocks, and they just abused the Heat's big men.

Game 5: THE DWIGHT HOWARD SHOW
                        JAZZ-84 MAGIC-103
First the Heat, then the Magic, then the Hawks. The start of this week isn't looking great for the Jazz. Don't be fooled by the score, the game was close for awhile. Magic had 37 points in the fourth quarter however, while Jazz only had 20. Millsap played great for the Jazz, with 20 points and 10 rebounds, with a steal and block thrown in for good measure. Jefferson, Burks, Harris, and Howard all had double-digit games, but that's about all that stood out for the Jazz. Dwight Howard dominated the game, 22 points, 18 rebounds, 3 steals and a block. J-Rich also contributed a solid 24 points, and 3 steals and 2 blocks. Glen Davis had a double-double as well.
THEY SEE ME FOULIN'. THEY HATIN'.
One of the biggest problems for the Jazz was fouls, Harris and Burks each had five, and Jazz committed 14 more fouls than the Magic.
                        THE JEREMY EVANS SHOW?
Though he was a 12th man replacing injured CJ Miles, Jeremy Evans produced in the little time he had, with 4 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists in only ten minutes!

                        Game 6: TWO MAN TEAM
                        JAZZ-92 HAWKS-87
After losing two in a row, the Jazz seemed to be going for a third loss playing the Hawks, but luckily that wasn't the case. This win for the Jazz rose them to 3-3. Millsap had 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 steals and 2 blocks. Harris (18pts, 8asts, 2stls) and Jefferson (11pts, 10rebs, 3blks) contributed as well. The Hawks had great performances from J-Smoove with 25 points, 16 rebounds, a steal and a block, and Joe Johnson with 21 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals. Even though the Jazz had a win, Millsap twisted his ankle, and will be hurting, but will play through it.
                        PRODUCTION, OR LACK THEREOF
Jazz played a balanced game, with most players getting involved, Hawks on the other hand... Marvin Williams, and Kirk Hinrich both played quite bad. No one was worse than Al Horford however, with no points, 7 rebounds, and 1 block, he was 0-7 on the night.

Game 7: MAGGETTE LOOKS 10 YEARS YOUNGER...
                        JAZZ-110 BOBCATS-114
First the Heat, then the Magic, then the Hawks. A game against the Bobcats would be great for the Jazz, an easy win is just what they needed, and it would rise them to over .500. Of course, games like this never happen though. -___- Maggette exploded in on the scene. Al Jefferson had 22 points, 9 rebounds, four steals and a block, and Millsap matched his 22 points, had 7 rebounds, 1 steal and 2 blocks. Even Burks had 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 blocks (wut). Maggette outscored them with a 33 point night, with Kemba Walker getting 24 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks. Tyrus Thomas had 23 points, 13 rebounds, 2 steals, and 5, count em 5 blocks. Gerald Henderson had 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals. Diaw, though having no points, had 13 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 blocks. The Jazz could have played a lot harder, and the Bobcats played their hardest, and got a good win.
                        THE PRODUCTION OF MR. HARRIS
This game was decided on Devin Harris. Harris had a great 14 assists, 3 steals, and even 2 blocks, but he only had 4 points, he had a plethora of turnovers, and he even fouled out, this production gave the Bobcats a win.

                        NEXT WEEK: Only Two Games?

I have some question about the online association. How long does it take to advance to the playoffs on the fastest advance setting for a 14 game season? Once you get to the playoffs, are multiple games open in your window to play or do you have to wait for each day to advance to play your next game? At the end of each season, do you get to set the time for the off season tasks or does it automatically schedule it for you and keep advancing? I was wondering if someone was going to be on vacation for a week or so, would the season essentially stop in the off season until it was scheduled? Trying to understand how everything works.

If you're dealing D-Will to the Rockets, you best be getting Kyle Lowry in return. Oh, and make that 'fill' Johan Petro if at all possible.

                              Game 1:
Los Angeles Lakers vs Oklahoma Thunder

I was able to defeat the Thunder by 12 with Kobe dropping 40 something points. Metta World Peace was able to contain Durant to 15 points, except Westbrook was able carry the team with a double double. The season opener would have been great except for Pau Gasol getting injured in the final 2 minutes with a fadaway jumper. He will be out for 1-2 weeks. Bynum had a double double, but if you watched him play you wouldn't think he had a good game.

                              Game 2:
Golden State Warriors vs Los Angeles Lakers

I yet again was able to beat the Warriors with consistent scoring and great defense. I never knew how much I took Pau Gasol for granted. Kobe had to do majority of the scoring since he dropped 41 points, 5 assists, and 3 rebounds. Since Pau Gasol was out everyone had to step up their game. World Peace had to be the 3rd scoring option. He went 4-4 from the 3pt line and had 3 key blocks late in the game. He finished with 12 points, 4 rebounds and 3 blocks. Bynum on the other had didn't have a great game, only had 16 points and 6 rebounds. Marshon Brooks had great scoring off the bench. The game was pretty intense, since the game was back and forth until late in the 3rd where I made a 7-0 run and never looked back. Late in the game we were able to foul out Monta Ellis before he could make a comeback. I'll post another update after my next two games which are against the Suns and Hornets if I'm not mistaken.
