    Second year Kings

    PG - Isaiah Thomas/Jimmer Fredette/Beno Udrih
    SG - Tyreke Evans/Marcus Thornton
    SF - Terrence Williams/Steve Novak/Francisco Garcia
    PF - Anthony Davis/Ersan Ilyasova
    C - DeMarcus Cousins/Ekpe Udoh/Chuck Hayes

Really like this team. Each position has 2 quality players that I can roll with and there's a good balance of offense and defense. Might be the one team I keep playing for multiple years.

Re: NBA 2K12: The Official Association/Online Association Thread

I'm 23-3 in my Pacers Assoc and need some help making some decisions with Dahntay Jones. At the moent his morale is starting to drop because of his minutes and role.

I was going to wait for the off-season to roll around before I made any changes to my lineup in regards to bringing in some young talent (mainly looking at rookies) to develop before Granger becomes a role player.

The main rating that I look at is consistency, but i'm also taking into consideration 3pt and Steal. I can see that most of the young players i've scouted have low consistency, but this can be worked on. Their potential will be looked at during the off season.

So, who from the list below who would you pick?
        • T. Harris
        • A. Burks
        • T. Honeycutt
        • D. James
        • J. Hamilton
        • K. Leonard
        • C. Singleton
        • J. Vesley

Note: I tried a trade with the Warriors with the following result -

        Offered:
        • Dahntay Jones (73)
        • '12 1st round pick
        • '13 1st round pick

        Recieved:
        • Charles Jenkins (59)
        • Klay Thompson (65)
        • Jeremy Tyler (55)
        • '12 2nd round pick
        k
...we held several meetings to discuss the future of the franchise. After going through those meetings, it became very clear that the vision I had for the game was different from where the leadership wanted to take it. I parted ways with EA shortly after...

Did you load a draft class? if you did then i wouldn't do it, if you didn't then i would do it. the regular draft classes have 5 or 6 good players, then a huge drop off. from that list, i would probably take jordan hamilton or damion james. james is athletic and in the offseason, use the potential training camp for him. hamilton is a great shooter who already has pretty good potential. hope i helped!

Was down by 7 with 58 seconds to go against Portland, Harden hits back to back threes and I am down by a point with 4 seconds to go. I foul, Crawford hits both FT. 3 seconds left and Durant gets a three-pointer which ties the score. Then I won in the OT, it was my best comeback in 2k12

Just finished my 1st season with the pistons ... went 37-45

              now im at the draft
              1st round
              10th pick-Terrance Jones
22nd pick-Peyton Siva (Celtics offered me their pick for tyshaun Prince and I accepted it was a tough decision as I was going 2 let him retire as a piston but we NEED 2 rebuild as this past season showed promise)

              2nd round
              Tyshawn Taylor

Overall it was a great draft

didnt go out and get BIG key free agents but got mahinmi and balkman for some defense

and now my 1st preseason game is underway .... this is the best way 2 see the talent u have plus add some chemistry
              LOUISVILLE

Re: NBA 2K12: The Official Association/Online Association Thread

I feel like I've made ten of these. Everytime I start a Kings association, I get bored and want to do a whole new one with new players. I think I can settle on this one though. I think.

This is through a fantasy draft with ronyell's Sim-World roster and sliders(w/very minor tweaks). Took Durant with the first round pick. First thing I did was trade Sam Dalembert and my '12 1st rounder for Demarcus Cousins and their '12 2nd rounder. Here's my rotation.

                  PG Irving/W.Bynum
                  SG DeRozan/Dudley/Stackhouse
                  SF Durant/Parsons/Novak
                  PF Haslem/Arthur/Ilyasova
                  C Cousins/Birdman

1-2 following a 101-93 loss to the Hornets.

Stats as of November 7th, 2011:
                  K.Durant - 30.3 PPG, 5.3 RPG, 1.7 APG, 0.7 SPG, 0.7 BPG
                  D.Cousins - 18 PPG, 11.3 RPG, 3.7 APG, 1.0 SPG, 0.3 BPG
                  D.DeRozan - 15.7 PPG, 6.3 RPG, 0.7 APG, 0.7 SPG, 1.0 BPG
                  K.Irving - 10.3 PPG, 5.3 RPG, 6.3 APG, 0.3 SPG, 50% 3PT
                  U.Haslem - 6.3 PPG, 7.2 RPG, 1.7 APG, 0.7 BPG
l North Carolina Tar Heels l Philadelphia Eagles l Sacramento Kings l Boston Red Sox l

Re: NBA 2K12: The Official Association/Online Association Thread

Started a NETS Association, using the opening day rosters:

                    Trade
                    Kris Humphries (70 OVR)
                    Damion James (69 OVR)

                    for

                    Ersan Ilyasova (66)
                    Shaun Livingstone (58)

Bucks needed a good SF and a PF, right now they look like:

                    Milwaukee Bucks:
                    Brandon Jennings (78)
                    Stephen Jackson (83)
                    Damion James (69)
                    Kris Humphries (70)
                    Andrew Bogut (78)

                    -----

I signed AK47 from free agency, so my starting 5 is:

                    Deron Williams (90)
                    MarShon Brooks (67) <going through developmental drills>
                    AK47 (74)
                    Ersan Ilyasova (66)
                    Brook Lopez (76)

I changed over to roe with the Kings now. I hope this team is one I will be able to stick with. I made 2 trades and fired my head coach.

Kings Trade: Chuck Hayes, Terrance Williams
                      Nets Trade: Kris Humphries
I like HUmphries because he a very good rebounder and good in the post so he now is my starting PF. I moved Thompson to the Bench.

Now this 2nd trade you guys might nont agree with but i liked it becuase I neede a young guy at PF to be a backup.

Kings Trade: Marcus Thronton (dont like hiim that much so now I have Tyreke at the 2 and Salmons at the 3.)
                      CAVS trADE: Thompson, 12 2nd

                      My Roster:
                      PG: Isaiah Thomas
SG: Jimmer Fredette(PG but starts at 2)/John Salmons/Chris Douglas-Roberts(signed him)
                      SF: Tyreke Evans/Francisco Garcia/Donte Greene
                      PF:Kris Humphries/Jason Thompson/Tristan Thompson
                      Cemarcus Cousins/Hassen Whiteside

I think Terrance Jones might be the NEXT Lebron James without the speed

1st regular season game Jones(10th overall pick) had
                          15 points
                          11 rebounds
                          7 assists
                          1 steal

WE KILLED the BUCKS 110-83 but I think it was because Monte Ellis went out early and didnt return but I dont think it woulda mattered anyway because we was feelin it the whole game

Wasnt expecting that in his first game and he starts because Prince is out of Detroit because the celtics offered me a trade during the draft for their 22nd pick which is how I got peyton siva then 2nd round got tyshawn talyor

Just started an association with the Bulls, so far 6-0. So far, my starting lineup is doing great.

                            SG Richard Hamilton (He's been making every shot lately) 31.3 PPG 5.8 RPG 4.5 APG 2.5 SPG 0.8 BPG .558 FG% .375 3P% .777 FT%
                            SF Luol Deng (He's like 2 times better when I use him) 32.8 PPG 8.7 RPG 6.8 APG 1.7 SPG 2.2 BPG .571 FG% .448 3P% .741 FT%
                            PF Carlos Boozer (doing great on defense and rebounds) 20.3 PPG 13.8 RPG 2.3 APG 0.8 SPG 1.7 BPG .533 FG% .000 3P% .673 FT%
                            C Joakim Noah (been doing well on offense) 10.8 PPG 10.0 RPG 3.4 APG 0.6 SPG 3.0 BPG .684 FG% .000 3P% .780 FT%

Most of my team has been doing great on offense, and my frontcourt have been amazing on defense.

Haven't made any trades yet. Thoughts?

                              Association One:

Jeremy Lin: 15 PPG; 10.1 APG
Rip Hamilton: 15 PPG; 5 APG
LeBron James: 35 PPG; 8 RPG; 5 APG
Andrea Bargnani: 25 PPG; 12 RPG; 3 APG
David Lee: 15 PPG; 10 RPG

*On this Association, it's very deep, and I have the luxury of having LeBron only play 32 MPG, and still have a very sucessful and winning formula. This team has lots of chemistry

                              Association Two:

Jarrett Jack: 15 PPG; 8 APG
Isaiah Thomas: 15 PPG; 4 APG
Danny Granger: 23 PPG; 7 RPG
LeBron James: 36 PPG; 7 RPG
Josh Smith: 26 PPG; 10 RPG

*Not as deep, but having a Big 3, along with good pieces surrounding like Jack, Thomas, and MarShon Brooks is good.

                              Help? Thanks.
The first one. BTW in your second association, Josh Smith is not a Center. His best position is at the Small Forward and Power Forward not the Center. But that's just my opinion. If it works for you then keep at it.

I like team 2 a little better. I know they're a bit undersized (LeBron 6'8" Smith 6'9") but LeBron is SO much quicker than any other Power Forward that he can take them outside and beat them off the dribble, not to mention he has developed his post game and can rebound like a big with his thick frame. Smith while only 6'9" can lead the league in blocks, and average 10 boards a game. Smith also has a good post game, and like LeBron, is quicker than most Centers. Jack and Thomas can hold their own at guard, and Brooks is a very underrated sixth man. I see 3 stars on TEAM 2, and only one star on TEAM1. Victory goes to TEAM 2!
