I've held the CPU to 29% and 37% on different occassions. The thing is, they're not making the "crazy' shots that you're use to seeing them hit on other levels. Do they have the ability to shoot you out of the gym if you don't defend them well? Yeah, most definitely.

Pretty high but not ridiculous. I'll give it a try even though I have no problem with my sliders it's more player's ratings/tendancies that frustrate me.

Apparently, I have tried several different settings, which led me to find that this was probably the best option... FOR ME. And several others.

It is optimal for me, and that's all I care about. Glad others are getting as much enjoyment out of it as I am.

I am with WTF on this one, because even though I beat the Cavs- it wasn't an easy win. I had to stay on top of my game. I am playing Houstin @ Houston right now, lets see what the results are.

For the past couple of years I've been saying Default Pro will get you the best experience.

This allows for players to play @ their exact ratings with no boost.

HOLY! You're a genius Vni! The game is so much better, like 100x! D.Rose is eating me alive now on PRO/DEFAULT! I was playing on PRO/SIM, All-Star/Sim, Superstar/Sim and none of those difficulty settings would emulate how dominate the CPU D.Rose should be. But on PRO/DEFAULT, it's so beautiful how the game flows and how D.Rose is beasting me now. It was so beautiful seeing D.Rose creating space for himself and taking a mid-range shot!? I just saw 3x already and I'm only halfway thru the 1st quarter. I would have only seen that like twice on PRO/SIM and usually it would be at the end of the shot clock, but now they cpu implements it during the middle of the play/shot clock! Noticed there is alot more mid-range shots taken by the cpu now which is amazing and so realistic! Wow Great Find! From now for future 2K Basketball games I'm going to play on PRO/DEFAULT first!

Changes I've seen on PRO/DEFAULT:

1) CPU Superstars are now Superstars and dominating like they should!
2) More Mid-range shots taken by CPU which is so beautiful to see.
3) Game-flow so much better now, more open space and more creative moves.
4) More SIM THAN Simulation setting!

I was skeptical tbh since I'm a real Sim Player so the change from SIM to DEFAULT was a hard choice until I saw some vet posters saying it's the way to go. Now I see the light, PRO/DEFAULT is the REAL Sim setting!

I'm going to alter fatigue and that's all. I'm seeing plenty of fouls with the Default foul settings. I just want players to get tired quicker. And that's the only slider I'm changing, everything else is perfect, the fouls, even the 3pt % so far and ptp!

BTW, I think this should be sticked or something, it's the greatest find ever. Everyone should have it PRO/DEFAULT! Damn I'm sounding so excited but this really is a game changer. It feels like a whole new game now and so much more realistic.

Also when I saw the title, I thought it was about the Greatest Moment Game Mode which I didn't bother in playing yet. But man, that thread should be sticked on the General Forum in order the spread the word. I can't rave enough how much better the game is right now. Maybe that's why all the game reviews were rating this game 9/10 and 10/10 cause they were playing on PRO/DEFAULT? I would have rated it a 7 or 8/10 when playing on PRO/SIM, but now with it being PRO/DEFAULT it's a 10/10 in my books now too.

When I first popped in 2K12 and played my first game, I got my a$$ raped.
But after bumping up to All-Star and re-utilizing my sliders from 2K11, I have finally found my groove on the sticks.
But I will admit, I see what WTF is saying about playing on default/pro, it's smooth, flows better than a tweaked out slider set, and still plays realistically.
But what one should take in account is that this game has been out a week and four days, enough time to master the basics and some (if not all) advance moves.
So with that in mind, is really better than all on pro/default? (Maybe with a roster of realistic ratings/tendencies) or we just "comfortable" enough to handle the game?

LOL, I find that hard to believe too at first but after a full game (12 min quarters) and a half, pro/default really gives the most realistic "simulation" settings!
