Notorious users like Rondo and Parker should attempt them maybe at the most 2-3 times a game.

Too frequent and it's going to get infuriating, yet too little and they become predictable. 2-3 times is often enough to wow us/catch off-guard when they do do it.

Up and unders? They're stopping, pump faking and stepping through 3 separate times every quarter?

I don't care how many times Rondo, Manu, Parker do up and unders. I expect them to use that move on me, especially if they can get me to fall for it (though I so rarely see them actually try the up and under when I haven't bit, which makes me wonder if the CPU is reacting to my button presses directly). I can't stand it when Beno Udrih, Brandon Knight, or a bunch of players driving to the hoop that do it to me.

So glad things are being reworked so you don't see Manu just turn the D into spectators when they could actually do something. Getting passing down, getting contact in the lanes down...now...

Bumping when playing and moving off ball to follow play charts or positioning in the post as a big in My Player.

And player speeds when not doing the throw ahead dribble.

These just gotta get addressed. Boot up a MP game as a SG or something and have them call CHA Box Cutter and see how easy it is to run that tight curl off the screens without being brick walled by the CPU.

And it takes too much effort to beat bigs down the floor with fast PGs on fastbreaks.

what r u even talking about...u prob dont know what a up and under move is.
u dont literally have to bring the ball all the way down to go up and under the UP is the showing of the ball in the air trying to lay up the ball to get jumping defender and the the HANG Usually to get contact or get the arms of the shot blocker going and then the UNDER going under his out stretch arms...and u dont have to score to complete the move. its a good way to get a jumping defender and create contact and try to get to the line and in lebron wade rose and still try to get to a 3 point play....

guys i mentioned before still does it only difference is now greg pop got parker to stop falling after doing up and unders, wade still does fall a lot

so those guys need to do more of it up and uder above 2=3 a game in nba 2k13 just make sure the defensive stops are there:
which is jump with arms str8 up and not swing at the ball or beat em to the spot...

A pump fake and drive ("Show and go") is not the same as an up-and-under.

Personally in my opinion it is the guards mostly the PG's that are the main problem with the up and unders and the scoop shots. There are some scoop layups and up and unders that don't draw contact and can't seem to be blocked or draw contact when there should be sometimes with multiple defenders in the paint.

SG's should be doing flick flick moves 3-4 times a game on the higher end and you have to think who really are using those moves and really only 3 come to mind.

Kobe, Wade, Manu are the first that come to mind.

Kobe has the best footwork and post game out of all the guards in the NBA and Wade is second. Kobe and Wade do it for post game moves and to get people to bite on fakes. Manu is just crafty as well.

PG's should not be doing flick flick moves as often.

Rondo should be doing his flick flick ball fakes I would say again 3-4 times a game and he should be on the high end. The only other PG that comes to mind is Andre Miller he has a serious post game and should be using them maybe 1-2 times a game. The rest of the PG's should have a low tendency to to this. If they get in the paint most PG's are shooting a floater or shooting a high layup, miss, block or make. They are not stopping on a dime to do a flick flick moves. I am not saying there are not other PG's that can't do flick flick moves but they just don't show it in game because the chance of getting blocked is high so the tendency should be low.

SF: There are a number of SF's that have solid post games like Melo but he is not a up and under user neither is Durant

PF, C's: Scola, Al Jefferson, are high flick flick users 5 plus times a game and are good at doing them. Bynum does it a few times but it is mainly for turn arounds in the lane and isn't as cooridinated as Scola and Jefferson. Randolph does it a few times a game as well. Javele Magee does it I say about 3 times a game looks cooridinated doing them but isn't succesfull. Blake Griffin does flick, flick moves to a step through a few times a game 2-4. He is not as polished but he does do them a few. Other guys like Nene use them often too.

????/ point guards are the guiltiest parties mainly because they are the shortest ppl on the court to elude shot blockers and paint defenders....

The way I see it it was too many point guards doing it across the board backups, starters good pg's bad pg's it didn't matter and sometimes when you had defenders in the way it didn't draw contact, or they would "know" to go to an scoop shot that can't be blocked. Some of the animations didn't even make sense as it would be a clear travel and then the CPU would transition say from driving to the lane then go to a flick flick move. The CPU would usually go to that scoop layup or the reverse layup backwards which are pretty much un blockbable.

                            What?

Most guards, in fact, put up mini floaters (similar to what you saw Westbrook do in the video) and use their bodies to shield the ball from the defender to avoid blocks. No one's doing any up and unders out there, unless you're Rondo or Parker, and even Rondo and Parker prefer to use a floater 90% of the time.

Hell, DWade uses a floater/euro 90 percent of the time when he drives to the basket. But he's not doing any up and unders.

I agree I even put that in the wishlist to have more floaters for PG's instead of all those up and under/ flick moves in the paint. Most pg's are not using flick, flick moves or up and under once they get in the paint. They are shooting some type of high layup, floater, spinning layup floater.

question if am in the post lets say am tim duncan and i drop step to the basket hard left put the ball above my head in a shooting motion wait for the dfender to bite and then bring the ball down as he reacts and back up....is that an up and under? garnet does it a lot and dirk and they r bigs...
is this not a tony parker up and under?
