Like every year they have included the new all star court right before the all star in an update and the hav stated they will do the same thing this year. But if you want this seasons all star court AND the dunk contest and 3 point at launch you need the pre order bonus.

I don't know why everyone thinks they have 2k figured out, and to a larger degree why they think 2k isnt/has been going the big business route. It's about money now the base in already in hand.

That fact you told me wasn't completely accurate because there was a hack that had found stuff that was only to be seen if the dlc was purchased.

You had know idea they were gonna put all star game stuff on pre order before anyone else, before it was announced, did you?

Your wrong, hex editors were able to unlock the whole settings file allowing us to have the pre order teams.

So they found some "stuff". Big FRIGGIN' deal! Was there stuff missing? YES! Was it just a matter of flipping switch in the code to fully enable the DLC? NO! The DLC wasn't fully functional. True or false, was the DLC FULLY active with this "hack"? NO, you say? Oh. OK then.

What does this have to do with the price of tea in China? Unlocking bodies in a game means nothing. I'm not going to go into details, but show me ONE DLC hack where EVERYTHING in the DLC was activated without buying the actual DLC data and then we can talk.

2. I never said you were bashing. I said that you're trying to paint the company as some money grubbing, evil empire using the DLC as your platform. And ALL I've said is that the DLC isn't just a switch in the code. It's not "on the disc" as you say. Some of it? Sure. All of it? The core of it? Nope. MS does not allow that. Ask ANY person that works for a developer or Microsoft.

I never disagreed that DLC in of itself is about money. I disagreed with your position that the way it was done in 2K, being just a switch, proves that it's all about money. And THAT is false. What's false? That it's just a switch (not allowed by MS - fact. Look it up). The other part that's false is that it's ONLY about money. Believe that if you want to. Not my problem. What does unlocking the "settings" file have to do with the DLC assets. You're talking about only a PART of the DLC.

Look, I'm not going to argue with you guys about this. I'm 100% certain of my knowledge of the DLC process with MS. I'm pretty sure no one has a fully operational DLC without actually having the DLC packet that is downloaded when you buy the DLC. The rest of the discussion you can have. It was never my position to chime in on the motivations of 2K, and things being about money and whatnot. Why bother? It's a STUPID discussion. These are people with jobs and they have to be paid. OF COURSE they are trying to make money. WHO THE HELL ISN'T!?!? If you don't like it, go live in the woods and roast nuts with the squirrels, because every company you will ever deal with is trying to maximize their cashflow.

If you preorder from gamestop will i still get all-star weekend or do i have to preorder from 2k?

Also if i receive it from gamestop, how will it come? Do i have to mention it to them, to make sure i get it, or will it be in the case or something?
