Love13...thanks bro...I'll check to see if maybe I'm injured...

Everyone else has already talked about all the other my career/gameplay flaws so I won't speak on that...I just wish 2K would truly offer something for fans of true sim where we don't have to adjust sliders and stuff...speaking of which is there a way to adjust the sliders for the CPU in my career? Because Travis Outlaw isn't a knockdown 3 pt shooter...and EVERY team shouldn't shoot 55% every game against my D...just saying...

Do you play on sim or default? I've found sim makes shooting % a little better.

The Grizzlies ride a 41 pt, 13 reb, 6 ast performance from The Cobra to beat OKC 121-115 and advance to the Western Conference Finals against the 6 seed Clippers. In the playoffs, I am averaging 36.6 PPG, 10.5 RPG, 5.8 APG. In the East, the Sixers await either the Heat or the Nets. The Heat lead 3-2 right now.

Is there a way to check on your tendencies?

Go to your player card there you can scroll through your stats, attributes and tendencies, it has comparisons to league averages for starters at your position, you can view contract details, season and career highs, also your sig skills, awards, and they even have a split stat screen that shows your stats at home vs away and in wins vs losses. It's actually a pretty cool feature, they've had it for years, i check that out after every couple games at least. I have found I shoot a lot better at home then road, I have also found that I shoot the 3 better in losses than in wins haha.

In gm sit down, every time I have done the "I don't get along with a player" I have always gotten the same response. It is that they don't feel it would benefit the team to resolve this with a trade and we need to work it out with each other through meetings.

I'm curious if anyone else has ever gotten a different response on this, and of so what was the end result?

In gm sit down, every time I have done the "I don't get along with a player" I have always gotten the same response. It is that they don't feel it would benefit the team to resolve this with a trade and we need to work it out with each other through meetings.

After my first season i've gotten the response of that the GM agrees with my side of the story and he would/will look into possible trades for said player and that you wouldn't be getting moved.

Though for me, this hasn't worked. I heard my friend say he got Rubio traded in his MyCareer with that option but everytime I tried it on players (Even the ones who popped up in the rumor mill wanting to be traded.) It never worked so i'm not sure if it's glitched or what.

i got it once when they told me they would explore trades for the player i didn't want can't remember who though a few games later he was gone

I just got 2k13 yesterday and created a mycareer. Then I realized how dumb that was since the trade deadline is two days away. If I delete this player and start a new one, will I still keep all the VC I earned.

Also, I have $6 on my ps account. Should I buy a platinum jewelry set or just buy 40k vc?

Go with the VC you can upgrade more with it

As for the trade deadline i would just trade somebody like Milsap for Bledsoe since neither of them are getting extended with their current teams and they never do in 2k and roll on with your career

Doesn't seem like any big names will be traded apart from Milsap

I'm guessing from the sounds of it that you didn't get to suggest any players to trade him for, they just traded him on their own?

Don't think that you can suggest, it's just their own CPU decision...

On this topic, I hope they will add some feature in 2k14 MyPlayer/Career that's like the association trade system.

I'm guessing from the sounds of it that you didn't get to suggest any players to trade him for, they just traded him on their own?

Well i suggested players when we were on a losing streak and at the end of the season

Currently 26-14 with the Knicks, 3rd in the Conference. Bulls and the Heat are leading us. The team suffered a form slump which lead to three consecutive losses vs Grizzlies, Nets and Raptors.

We came out strong tho against the Spurs and swept them away in a blowout win. My 87 OVR Center managed 33 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists and 5 blocks. I'm currently leading my position in votes for the All-Star game and I'm the favorite for the league MVP award, leading in True shooting, PER, rebounds per game, top three in scoring and top three in blocking.

My player was starting to feel a little dull so I've decided to go the Bargnani/Kevin Love way of things. Maxed out my perimeter shot, bought Carmelo's release and now I can score from anywhere inside the arc. I still have to work on my 3pt ratings, but I'll focus on post hook and fadeaway shots for now.

Agreed. I really want to trade al Jefferson for like a Rudy gay, igudala, Paul George type of player. But if I just ask the team to trade Jefferson I doubt they will target someone like that. I just got into February in my season, and I'm hoping the gm will call me in and ask for people to target for trades but it hasn't happened yet, and if it does I'm afraid they will trade milsap or Favors for them, and that would ruin what I'm trying to accomplish which is make it a better defensive team at every position. Jefferson is outstanding in off post but sucks at defense so this will allow favors and milsap to play the front court and add a lock down defender on the wing. So the trade machine would be awesom here.

Lol yes indeed, I was trying to explain what I ment but you understand it so that's good. in my 4th season when I was offered my targets and I really wanted Josh Smith (I figured I couldn't get him.) BUT if there was a different trading system, I would have paired Millsap and Batum as their salary's would have matched J.Smith's, but since it's just the CPU's choice, it didn't happen.

Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of happening. Even like a trade preview like when the CPU finds a trade he then shows you what they're offer is to get your input, and depending on your team loyalty rating (which would need to be created based on the same basic functions as teammate pop) the gm would listen to you more or less. Something like that I could handle.
