Thanks a lot for the reply... I am a little disappointed so far, I can shoot but that's the only thing I can do... Thats not my style at all... I think I'm gonna go again and start with an athletic one, maybe it will be more fun.

I made a Faceup Center and got drafted by the Celtics...
a) Do you think it was a good team choice? Houston also interviewd me and were happy with my answers but passed.
b) Do you think Faceup has potential? Sure I can score now, but will I be able to dunk soon?

There's a couple things here. First off to answer "a)" the celtics are good, I played with as a pg for awhile and we won a lot. Pierce is fun to play with and if you become a dominant young center with you and rondo as the stars then Garnett and pierce backing you up as your 3rd and 4th option you could be pretty good. I would definitely turn on the run plays feature as well, it will make your life as a center easier and use play vision. I use the full vision and I love it cause I can see what everyone else is supposed to be doing as well.

As for will you be able to dunk soon, that's up to you, you have full control of where you spend your vc or sp. if dunking is important I would start adding to that. As a center I would do standing dunk, then dunk as this will help with putting o Rebs and when players find you underneath, also make sure your vertical is at least descent.

sim is a bit harder in a sense. In sim you miss open jumpshots from time to time, when you drive and finish you get fouled lot more(you will be called for more fouls too), more reachin fouls are called, game is slowed down considerably. If you play Center use SIM and run plays option on and you would enjoy the game trust me.

I gave up on Sim, there were a few games where I would get a good bit of fouls which I liked, and then other games I would barely get 2-4 free throws in a game.

My teammates also got fouled out more (Which I didn't mind.) but if I get only 2-4 FT's, and my team is struggling at times because they get into foul trouble, it wasn't worth it IMO.

Maybe it's just me though, i'll give sim another shot eventually.

We can't do anything when we lose a ton of games?
We can't talk to the coach, we can't change rotations or anything, we can't change the coaching attributs

Is there anything?
Because we lose a lot and I don't really know what to do

Am i the only one that cant shoot in the 4th quarter? No players around, i shoot and nada, perfect release and cant hit, what the hecks the problem?

This happens to me. I go like 3/3 for 3-pointers, and overall like 7/9 in the first half. Then all of the sudden in the 3rd and 4th I cannot hit anything and my FG % just tanks.

I am a 6'1 SG for the Celtics, but they put me at SF a lot. I don't understand why they put me at SF when I am so small, I am the same size as Rondo. I became a starter after 10ish games of averaging 14 points in 11 minutes. Only play like 28 minute games.

I just finished my 1st season with a MyCAREER guy. The GM asked me for FA to target and now I encounter a freeze whenever I try and move the off-season forward. I've tried a GM sitdown, adding points to an attribute to improve my guy and changing my sig skills to change my save point. Nothing works and it still freezes.

Am I screwed? Can I fix this? Does anyone know? I'm on the 360 and this is my 3rd MC guy and I've never had this issue before.

Any fixes to try would be neat. Thanks.

I have never experienced this. On my first career at the end of the season after I got eliminated from the playoffs it just skipped to the next season never asking me anything or telling me anything, no simulating waiting or anything. Just everything on my home screen reset and I have to scroll through the entire league to see what changes were made to teams. It's actually one thing I'm disappointed in, as there should be some sort of update for players during offseason. I'm sure d wade did not show up at training camp and find out there that lebron and bosh were now his teammates haha.

As for your freeze, sorry I'm no help, apparently there is a glitches and bugs thread in here somewhere, there's a link a few pages back for it. You may want to try there.

Well it depends which one of those you want to mimic. Iverson and Westbrook are scoring point guards. They create shots for themselves primarily and will set others up as a second option.

Rondo is a pass first point guard, his role on offense is to run an offense and create shots for others, and scoring is a second or 3rd option for him. He is also a scrapper, he gets rebounds both offense and defensive.

All 3 are good perimeter defenders, I would say rondo may have the edge there because he doesn't have quite as big of a contribution on the offensive end so he needs his defense especially his ability pick pockets on help defense, to set himself apart as a top pg in a league of great pg's in which most of them can score at will.

In short rondo leads the league in assists, Westbrook and Iverson are/were premier scorers in the league.

Just got to the finals in the first season with my 6'9" SF on the Hornets. We beat OKC in 6 games. I got 35 PTS 8 ASTS and 7 REBS in game 6 (also hit the game-tying jumper to send it to OT)

This statement is false. It depends on your losing streaks. With my current Raptor squad, I've gotten it 6 times. It is useless to have after the trade deadline, but you still get it.

I had it 4 times before the trade deadline; Chase Budinger, Michael Kidd-Gilcrest, Thomas Robinson and Derrick Favors were the choices my GM traded for once received.

Ed Davis is still the starter, so Favors and Robinson are getting upset - I hope the GM trades Davis in the Off-season.

I really wish the AI used something other then OVR to determine who was starting.
