Just played 4 key games and I still have 6 key games left in season. We are 40-33. So in the last 9 games of the season, we play 6 of them. We should stay in playoff race, since I won those last 4 key games. Starting the season, I only had 1 key game in April. Now I got 6 of them, due to final games against division opponent. It is one thing that I have to play a division opponent(that isnt a rival) late, but I shouldnt have to play them more than once. I had to play Mavs a couple games ago, now I got to play them again.

Were at the point, where we have to win a couple games in row to move up a spot and lose a couple to move down. We are 4th in West with a 2.5 lead of 5th spot and 2.5 games back from 3rd spot. I avg 16.9 PPG, 9.0 RPG, and 1.5 BPG. Demunyck is now 1st in league in Shots Taken. I am 10 rebs away from 1500 career rebs.

This is the reason I try to start a career at each position and play the first two seasons of each. By season three, most teams resemble fantasy leagues more then the real life league and I start losing my interest..

What is weird about 2k13, is that NONE of my players ended up starting at their primary positions. My PG and my SF started at the SG position, and my SG is starting at the SF position.

On the one hand, I really appreciate that my SF does not replace Kevin Durant as the starter, but once my guy has developed into a legitimate starter, I do wish a team with a legitimate need for a SF would trade for him so that I can both start at the position I should and feel good about it as well.

Next year, I hope 2k works on the rotation/substitution logic as well as continue to work on the trade logic. I think this is the next major piece to work on to make a successful mode.

Draft classes are better this year, compared to years past. But, it does needs improvement. There are more chances of busts in top 10 and chances of stars in the 8-14 ranges. But, there needs to be more talent in the late-1st to 2nd rd range, even if it just one dimensional players.

But, they do need to work on the sign/trade logic. By the 3rd-5th season, the league is different. In my 8th season with my PG, the league is totally different. Players are too likely to leave their team so quickly. The really need to work on the player morale system. Another thing is that the CPU need to recognize the needs on the team. I dont want to see Cavs go for the best PG available in draft or go for CP3. Teams in this mode/game drafts based on best talent available regardless of need.

There was only 1 trade this season in my PF 2nd season.

Actually having a lot of fun playing MyPlayer Blacktop.

I took a break from MyCareer(I only played 6 games, just became the starter, and we're 6-0)

With the Bucks my SG has started for about 15 games now.. We are 20-6 and 2nd in the East behind Miami (who blew us out). I'm afraid to only play key games as my player is not good enough yet, and i'm averaging 15 ppg . 6 boards and 5 assists... so i'm semi close in teh ROY race and do not want my stats to fall off. In the rotation i'm at 41 Minutes per game, i've been playing really well since i took over the starting role, averaging about 20.

Has anyone won ROY by playing only key games? and also, how big of a hit is it to your stats?

do you guys play all your games or only the key games cause im 30 games in in my first season wih the wizards and its kind of long :/

I'm playing about 50 games each year then the rest I will simulate by going to next key game.

if you want to win ROY with playing key games only, i suggest you boost your attributes first before simulating the games. that way, you'll ge better stats.

i called them and some guy sent me a email telling me just to provide my gamertag and show proof of the file

but he also wants me to delete it ..not happening

you delete it then just start a new guy and put his stats to where they were

Exactly. I can win on HOF consistently....if I'm personally responsible for 90% of my team's points. It's ridiculous. Wide open 3's and layups missed, teammates unable to comprehend that KD/Ray Ray/Dirk can shoot, thus letting them take 3's uncontested. No one can catch a pass cleanly all of a sudden.

I mean, SS can even get cheesy at times (just had Kirk Hinrich hit a fadeaway 20-fter with me and Anthony Davis contesting at the shot clock buzzer, then proceed to go down low and get an acrobatic And 1 contact layup over me and Aminu in succession), but at least your teammates are still NBA players holding their own out there. I think HOF is pretty much SS with useless teammates (offense and D), and pre-patch ORebs glitch *patched back in* to the game. LOL it gets downright INSANE.

But at least it's a realistic challenge vs decent teams, very hard vs the OKC/MIA type teams, and you can actually get a blowout here and there vs a bad team or even a good one. Right now in ATL (25-23) I'm up 43-21 in the 2nd, and I only have 3 pts and 2 ast. Teammates are balling right now.

I hate this, last game I played I was responsible for 78 of the teams 109 points, 42 on my field goals and free throws 36 on my 15 assists. Personally, I'd rather score 20 ppg with 10+ apg, but when I pass it to my teammates they refuse to take open shots and when they do they miss, while CPU players knock down heavily contested shot left and right.

Restarted my athletic pg.with over 5000 vc this time. Showcase game I was able to score 16, dish out 10 assists, and 4 steals. I was drafted by the rockets at 12. Been reading the defense thread and it has really helped me lock down on players.

Not really an update with my player, but a little ranting this time 'round. So I'm playing my second Key Game in a back to back, and I'm really disappointed. Our team chemistry is 80+, and when I physically play the games, we blow out teams.

On the flipside, when I "Play Next Key Game", we have lost terribly when it simulates the games. We are 2-4, and the two wins were massive blowouts.

This doesn't seem right to me in the slightest. We have struggled, which I can completely accept, but I don't feel that I need to get a Triple Double for us to win, especially in a blowout win. I guess I'm just disappointed in the game.

It's hard to say if this something 2k is responsible for, or if this is just how my team is now. Carmelo last game went 20-22 for 43 points and 8 rebounds. Wow.
