I managed to score 8p, 2assists, 2rebs in 8 mins, not bad. We blew out the east 118-88 and I liked that commentators said it was the 3rd straight win for the west. I hope they add more commentary thingies like that in the future.

I've asked to go to Lakers and have been traded to everyone but the Lakers before... and with the same guy asked to be traded to the Heat and sent to the Lakers instead...

So I started really experimenting .. getting drafted really low (as in OKC's pick or the Celtic's) and all a sudden, I get successfully traded to the Lakers when I asked with no issues.

Trying to go to the Cavs or Magic is harder then it seems, because of the team needs and contract parts... with both of these teams, I'd suggest it is easier to manipulate getting drafted by them then engineering a trade.

With all that said, this is what I would do.

1: Play 4 games and make a back up save file. ( You have to do this prior to asking for a trade or the decision on where you are going is made already).

2: Save all of your VC/SP and drills. Do not improve your player... and if he has above 10 minutes, make the coach take minutes away from you.

3: It might be placebo, but I have gotten better results from asking to be traded, not demanding. It does not matter which slot you pick your desired team, but only pick the team you want.

4: Make sure you match up with the lower end of the bench of your desired team, minutes and skill-wise.

5: Play the 5th game and then go talk to the GM.

If it does not succeed, reload save and try again.

Thanks for the response! I'll definitely give this a shot. How do you create a backup save when the game saves automatically each time?

I played most of my second season with Bruiser 3 on and i figured I should turn it off for season three because I had forgotten what HOF felt like...

My god, I forgot about all the cheese.

I think I might have to get Lockdown Defender because Eraser feels worthles.

Should I also replace Def. Anchor because that doesnt feel like it's having an impact at all?

Im definitely leaving the Hornets when this contract is up even though I got CP3 back on the team.

Well, I just tried your backup save method Taer, but it doesn't work for me...I created a backup save file after my 5th game and prior to asking for a trade on a flash drive, then loaded up my file on my 360 and went and asked for a trade to the Cavs (who were the only team I listed), selected play next key game, and I was traded to the Thunder. So I then pressed my 360 button to return to the dashboard, loaded up 2k13, and loaded up my backup save file from my flash drive...only to find out it somehow has saved with me on the Thunder. It must be because the My Career file saves on the 2k server, making the backup save worthless?

Either way...this is getting pretty frustrating.

Started a a 3pt SG last night. Tried something new for me and totally tanked the Rookie Showcase. Worked my way down to an F grade and then proceeded to foul out in the 3rd quarter. Kinda ironic that when trying to get a reach-in foul, I actually got a successful steal.

Got interviews with Memphis, OKC <oh hell="" no!=""> (Oh hell no!) and Miami. Gave a so-so answer fro MEM, gave a Screw You answer for OKC and said that I would love to sit on the bench behind Wade & Allen.

I wanted to see what the GM would do with having two superstars at SG in front of me. Almost thinking that I would get traded once I got high enough, not sure.

Started the season at the #7 slot behind Allen. After five games moved up into the 6th man spot and got my Nike endorsement.

Second game of the year, came in the game against NY and we had fell down by 12 or so in the second quarter. Got the dynamic goal of bring the score back by 5 points. "Challenge Accepted" Started camping my sweet spot beyond the arc and firing off threes. Eventually won the game by 12 or so. Ended with 28 pts 3 RB, 4 assit. POTG

Nice having a strong interior with James and Bosh keeping the court spread.

Was going to sim a few games to my next key game, but looked at the schedule and my next scheduled key game isn't for another two months. Not sure I want to sim that far ahead in my first year.</oh>

Yea i believe because it's the same career name and 2k automatically saves everything to their sever it does that ..kinda sucks

30 games into my rookie season I'm averaging 22.9ppg 15.8rpg(6.2orpg) 2.9apg 1.1spg 2.7bpg .768fg% .892ft% 1.8topg in 34.7mpg, and the team's record is 15-15(tied for 8th with the Lakers).

Has anybody changed the Hornets to Pelicans yet? I found some jerseys and court that may do it. I will change it next season so it will be realistic :P

Why do we like to score in this game? Well, because my teammates are idiots who constantly miss easy buckets!!!!!Grrrrrrrr. Then you are forced to score because you can't trust them to make a shot until the computer decides it is time to take off the 'dumb as a rock' sig.

Lol when the game can't screw you over what does it do? I click L1 on the PS3 to do an icon pass and when I decide to take icon pass off (because the play gets broken) by clicking L1 what happens? I do thrown some long doofy pass into an opposition player for a turnover.

Sorry it didn't work Neal. The only things I can suggest at this point is to take the career offline until the trade works out or I think there was a way to stop the autosaves ... that was before the patch so i don't know if that will work.

There are some things the PC version ends up being better then the console I guess each year. The save thing is definitely a plus for the pc in 2k13.

Anyone getting in foul trouble easily? I love to defend and get in players way but I end up with 4-5 fouls in the 2nd-3rd quarter. Obviously the Coach doesn't sub me out, no idea why he is that stupid.

I'm not even trying to steal the ball, all I do is I stand in the paint with my hands up or shade players but these players keep jumping into me. I even got smacked to the ground because of a big guy and the foul was on me lol.

With my PG I found myself in obligation to score simply because nothing else was possible.
I wanted to do some assists, but the passing system is so sh!tty that I went back to the 3-pts "trolling"
