Not sure about nick young, though I like him being the scorer coming off the bench, I hate his basketball IQ and lack of defensive presence. Dorell Wright will be a keeper for sure, I like his size at that position (also helps with rebounding and defending bigger players), and his shooting. Besides he is not much of a trade chip but a player who I value a lot. So, he is not going anywhere, lol.

As for the pistons, I haven't planned anything yet. Gonna keep Monroe at least for a while, also Prince for the transition period. Gonna need his veteran presence while I rebuild. Except for these guys (including knight) everyone is moveable.
Good luck man, good to see a new team being posted here in Philly...interested to see what you do with them moves wise!

Waddup guys I'm doing my association with the bobcats but I can't help but ask should I stay with them or roll with the wizards and one f my favorite players John wall. Last year in 2k12 I never got through an association because of this same issue. So wat do y'all think

I'm saying they both are in the bottom 5 of the league. Until I get some replies I will continue with the bobcats

        1st Half
Next game is the Knicks @ Celtics and the first half was the worst I've ever played on this game...I mean ever. I couldn't shoot and it's becoming clear that my starting lineup doesn't have enough firepower to contend with a team that has shooters like Melo and JR Smith. Might have to make a move for a guy like JR Smith that can come in and light it up.

Hibbert, and Bradley are injured and out a 2-4 and 6-8 weeks. That didn't help seeing as Bradley is really my main scoring option coming off the bench. I signed Johnny Flynn and Greg Oden to fill those spots, but thus far...it's not helping much.

Rondo has been terrible thus far, only shooting 1-11...But I've cut down on those turnovers!!!!....sigh, lol.

I'm down 52-34, got outscored 34-15 in the 2nd quarter.

        2nd Half

Whatever the coach said at half apparently worked. Came out with 9 straight points. Decided to change of the defensive strategy and focused on Melo and Amare by playing them tight and double teaming them everytime they touched the ball. Gilchrist and Pierce lead the charge with assists from the still struggling Rondo. At the end of the third the Celtics outscored the Knicks 27-19.

Going into the 4th the first few minutes were rough for me. I again couldn't buy a shot and the offense went stagnate. Then on a fast break I hit a streaking Paul Pierce for a dunk that set him on fire. He by himself brought the Celtics withing two before the Knicks called a timout. Melo came out with the answer and poured it on us outscoring us 20-10 in the final minutes.

Lost 99-86 in what was a game of streaks. Even though we lost, I like the fact the team didn't give up coming. Gives me hope that they can hang if the defense plays like it's suppose to. Still may make a move for a shooter off the bench. Any ideas?

        Pierce: 33 Points, 3 Rebounds, 2 assists
        Kidd-Gilchrist: 25 Points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals
        Bass: 12 Points, 8 rebounds, 1 assists
        Rondo: 10 Points, 6 Rebounds, 15 Assists, 3 Steals, 0 Turnovers on 2-14 shooting
        Oden: 6 Points, 7 Rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block

        • I am very happy with the play of Bass. For everyone who intends to trade KG, keep Bass around. He is a very good replacement for an aging KG
        • I can't seem to put it all together with Rondo. I got his assists down, I can dish it with him...but by toning down the turnovers I shot horrible from the field. 14 shots is way too many for a pass first PG
        • Gillie being Gillie. Stuffing the stat sheet and coming up with those hustle plays to help use stay withing striking distance.

Great job. Mm I though lee was a solid shooter off the bench. Don't look like your using sullinger maybe grab JR and something like camby for sullinger and lee. Knocks get yonger pf/c and nice replacement for lee. U get smith like u wanted and a player who's gonna prob retire and is expiring contract. I know Anthony morrow is dominate scorer from deep. Get him from the hawks maybe

Thanks for the input. I actually play Sully about 8-9 minutes a game, I just only post player stats for the starters unless a guy off the bench goes off.

I may try that JR Smith trade, especially seeing as how Gillie went down with an injury. I need a solid SG now that can fill the void.

Seems like everybody is taking the Bobcats so it's good to see the teams like the Sixers pistons wizards and now clippers being picked. I have to go to bed so tomorrow morning I will post an updated depth chart and preview for season 2. I will also post all the moves from the offseason. including two trade and a couple free agent signings

Quick review. Team is now 2-1 after beating the Magic. Very easy win, jumped out to a 10 point lead before they even scored. Won 92-60.

                  Pierce: 22 Points, 8 Rebounds, 1 Assist, 1 Steal, 1 Block
                  Bass: 19 Points, 3 Rebounds, 2 Assists
JR Smith: 14 points, 5 Rebounds, 1 Steal, 1 Block
                  Rondo: 13 Points, 7 Rebounds, 14 Assists, 3 Steals, 1 Block, 7 Turnovers()
                  Hibbert: 10 Points, 4 Rebounds, 2 Steals, 1 Block

                  • Again, can't put it together with Rondo. Shot 6-7 this game, but turned it over way too much. I'll get better
                  • Not sure why Hibbert played, it says on his player card he is out for another few weeks yet is playing.
                  • Same with Gillie. Out yet played 8 minutes.

Next game, team is fully healed and ready for the 76ers...we'll see if my newly traded players can gel with the others.

Los Angeles -- Blake Griffin had 25 points and 12 rebounds in a Clippers 109-100 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies to open the season.

The Clippers who are looking to build off of last seasons success looked much in tune Wednesday against playoff rival from last season, Grizzlies. The Clippers shot an outstanding 57% and hitting 6 three pointers on the night.

Newly aquired guard Jamal Crawford, had a sensational game with 22 points and 5 assist. "That's exactly what he was brought here to do" says Chris Paul.

One thing the league isn't use to seeing is a season high 7 turnovers for Chris Paul. "I can't do that obviously if we want to continue to win. It's something I have to correct and I will." Paul finished with 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 8 assist.

The high scorer for the Grizzlies was Rudy Gay. That was a pleasant thing for Memphis fans to see as Rudy was out most of last season with nagging injuries. "It's just one game, we understand we have to continue to work in practice to get where we want to be," Gay said. "It's a long season and we will get through this, no need to panic."

                    ---------------------------------------------------
                    Post Game Thoughts
I am going to have to tweak my sliders. Seemed like I was hitting most of my shots especially with a 57% shooting night. Might play one more game to see if we are just that offensively built. Hope you guys enjoy this update this being my first time doing this. I will also try and get more in the next update vs. Lakers.

+ Lamar Odom played like a bum. Hopefully he plays better against his former team Lakers tomorrow.

                      Latest Game Recap

Denver Nuggets(12-8) VS New York Knicks (10-9)
Coming off a loss to the Conference leading Bulls, the Knicks look to bounce back at home versus the visiting Denver Nuggets. Knicks were playing without Jason Kid who already missed 5 games with a broken toe. Denver lost Ty Lawson for the whole seasson with a broken patella and had Javale Mcgee was out with a seperated shoulder.

As you can see, the game was close through out. Denver got a clear advantage in steals and fast break points. The Knicks defense really ran out of gas in the 4th quarter. Quite disappointed in this game, I was hoping for a win with Denver dealing with 2 big injuries to starters. But their depth was too much. Next up we got the 10-9 Brooklyn Nets, we're both in the 6th and 7th spots in the conference.

                      Stats around the League

As you can see, Lebron and Kevin Durant are putting MVP type numbers. Dwight Howard is leading the league in Rebounds and Rajon Rondo leading is Assists. Upcoming free agent Josh Smith exploded with his scoring. But the biggest surprise is Luol Deng, he's averaging 29.9ppg, 10.8rpg, 3.6apg, and 2.1apg in the absence of Derrick Rose leading them to a 17-2 record.

                      Notable Injuries
                      - Derrick Rose will still be out until February.
                      - Iman Shumpert is expected to return sometime in January
                      - Denver loss Ty Lawson for the entire season with a broken patella
                      - Victor Claver, Bradon Knight, Anthony Morrow, and Derrick Favors have all been shut down for the rest of the season.

                      Knicks Season Recap

As you guys can see, the Broadway Bigs (STAT,Melo, and Chandler) are playing at the level where they're expected to be. JR Smith is sparking 16ppg off the bench. The teams record is very under whelming, STAT missed the first 4 games which led to a 1-3 record but we went on to win the next 4 straight after his return. The team has been up and down since then. We're hoping the return of Iman Shumpert will help with those close games. Right now the play of the point guards have been disappointing. Raymond Felton hasn't been playing where he should be scoring wise. Kid has been out for the past 5 games and will be out for the next two weeks. Pablo Prigioni has put up some decent numbers since getting more minutes with the absence of Kidd. I may consider giving him the starting job.

I hope you guys enjoyed my Association report, I wanted to give a more visual experience. I'm hoping update every few games. Thanks for reading!

We open on a 10-0 run, kept the lead through out the game. Monta had 21 at the half. In the 4th with 4 minutes to go up 16 I put in my bench mob in and they allowed Ginobili to hit some 3's and before I knew it they were within 8 with 1:50 left. I called a time out and put the starters back in before it got worse.

The starters were able to hold them, The crowd was chanting MVP MVP MVP as Monta came to the line with 11 seconds left 104 to 108, he drills both free throws to seal the win. We are sitting 5th in the East, surprisingly the top seed is the 7-1 Bobcats.

Starting SF L. Mbah A Moute has a severe sprained ankle after a weekly practice and will miss 2-4 weeks.

As a result Ilysova will slide to SF and Thompson will come in to start at PF. We will see how this lineup works, definitely going to miss Mbah A Moute defensive presence.

Good to see everyone having a ball with their Association! I played Game 4 last night (update coming in a few minutes) But I wanted to encourage everybody to keep going! Dont get bored with it midseason! If youre winning to easily up the difficulty, if youre losing but not having fun, decrease it (you can still have fun losing, ie buzzer beaters)

Game 4! In the books baby!

Recap: CHA vs TOR, CHA (me) is up in the series 3-0, but every single game has come down to the wire (except Game 3).

As always the crowd was CRAZY (it always get me hype, along with the playoff cut scene!)

We came out the gate SWINGING! Kemba who had an absolutely disgusting showing in Game 3 came to play tonight! Kemba the "Mini-Mamba" hit THREE straight 3's to open a 9 pt lead on TOR. It was bananas, a off balance 3, a fade away 3 (mistake, but still nice!), a facial 3 (Lowry was looking bad out there).

There was no competition tonight folks, TOR rolled over! They quit, I was amazed that a CPU team quit like that! I have officially lost respect for TOR (I had mucho respect for them after they beat us in the Reg season, and the way they fought us in EVERY playoff game up until Game 4).

I cant even make it suspenseful for you fellas we won 102-78. We had a goal to close'em out, and that WE DID! Kemba was an animal, Mullens (again) was unstoppable (looking like Dirk the Jerk out there!). It was a whole team effort!

We play MIA (who swept BOS), I dont have false hopes. I know we wont beat MIA, but as long as we're competitive and make MIA work for everything I'll be satisfied!

Round 2! CHA vs MIA coming soon!

Just finished Game 1 against MI

                              Oh Boy! INSTANT CLASSIC!

This by far has been my favorite game of the playoffs so far!

MIA came out in the 1st qtr and ran us the OVER! (It was ugly! Sam Cassel face ugly! Sam Cassel face eating sour patch kids ugly!) It was like a lay up/dunk line out there, end of the 1st MIA was up 32-9! We got caught up trying to run with them and didnt run our game plan (attack the paint because theyre weak down there S.Hawes, J. Anthony).

2nd qtr we controlled the pace of the game more. We slowed it down and got the ball inside to Mullens and KMart. By half time MIA was up 54-32.

3rd qtr, WE BALLED THE OUT! Chandler Parsons took the game over! Lebron who? He went off from 3, 6/6 in the qtr from deep for Parsons. Mullens? AW MAN, we got a new nickname for Mullens Sheed al Blanco! Mullens looked like Psycho Sheed from the Portland days! Grabbing boards blocking shot, hitting shots! Everything! Mullens and Parsons made the Heat look like Champs who? Where?!

4th qtr starts MIA up 73-69, we keep pounding the paint! Abusing MIA big men possession after possession! Final 2:00 min were tied 89-89. LeBron disappeared! Wade took over draining the 3 in Henderson's face, Parsons came down the court and returned the favor. 1:41 left, MIA slowed it down. Bosh hit the mid range jumper. Mullens took Bosh on the block, spin move, bang bang quicky dunk. 1:15 now, R. Allen hits the corner tre MIA up 98-95, Tyrus Thomas gets the ball and throws the tomahawk ALL DOWN LeBron's throat! LeBron Lovelace-Like! MIA up 98-97 59sec left. Again they hit Ray Ray for the tre (Come on Henderson STICK ON YOUR MAN) MIA 101-97. We try to get into the post and Kemba turns the ball over! WHAT THE???!!! MIA inbounds the ball, Kemba rips DWade (He had better did something!) and hits Parsons in the corner for the 3! MIA up 101-100 6.2 secs left. We foul DWade he MISSES BOTH! LeBron grabs the board (BOX THE OUT) We immediately foul again. He hits both. Our ball with 2.3sec left, we go to the hot hand Parsons for the THREE..NO GOOD, MIA wins 103-100.

Instant classic, Im proud of us! We came back from that "turrible" first qtr to give MIA a run, we may not win the series but we wont get run over!

                              Great game..Game 2 to come!
