    I played a game last night where the clippers had 77 PIP.... They had 90 total.

      I have to agree with you. just played againts Bulls and whenever I missed a shot they rebounded the ball, passed it to D. Rose and he walked the ball up court and they ran plays.
      IMO, If you force the ballhandler to back off for just a few seconds, he starts walking and your CPU team mates get in position.

        This issue makes the Clippers a deadly team. Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan with a point guard as efficient as Chris Paul makes them #1. After a Defensive Rebound, you can forget about it. CP3 and Blake will go to work. And if you stop them, kick it out to Billups for a 3.

            pared's right - this was in the game last year, but it seems more pronounced this year for some reason. not because they made it that way, but it must be due to some other gameplay factor that affects it. whenever this happened last year, there would end up being mismatches on the other end, but i was able to fix them while the pg dribbled at a stand still above the 3 point line. this year, you can't fix your mismatches as the cpu recognizes open players more quickly.

            smh... what a pain - all this new stuff for 2k13 yet they still haven't fixed the core of the game. GAMEPLAY, 2k... sheesh! unbelievable.

            EDIT: i was thinking, if you put your 'crash boards' slider to zero within the coach options (and the same for the opposing cpu team to keep it even), maybe your sf and possibly even sg (if that were the case) won't go to the off boards at all and mismatches won't happen on the other end.

                Now that people are mentioning that it was in the game last year, I definitely see it now. No wonder, even with slider adjustments, the CPU was deadly on some possessions. I just couldn't figure it out, I saw bums splashing 3s and what not.

                2K has to get rid of that FAST BREAK ATTRIBUTE BOOST. A player with 64 3PT shot should be not hitting down a 3 like Ray Allen. Let Fast Breaks happen and let the ratings dictate success. NO BOOSTS!

                    Don't take this the wrong way, but why must he produce a video when you have not? You are the op and the one who made the initial assertion. If anyone ought to provide video it is you.

                    At any rate I have yet to purchase 2k13 so I will be playing close attention to this thread.

                      Dude, is not like he was questioning his statement... He was, most likely, asking for a video so most people could see a way to stop the CPU fast break scoring boost/glitch.

                        Observe DEFENSIVE REBOUND possessions. When you miss a shot, watch the CPU play.

                        NBA 2K12 it does happen, however, the CPU is not aggressive and looks to be running plays.

                        I think the User & CPU gets an attribute boost following a defensive rebound.

                        Your Field Goal % goes up following a Defensive Rebound.

                        You are more likely to make a shot following a Defensive Rebound.

                        Fix that and you have Simulation Basketball

                            I'm noticing the same issue. I have a missed shot, immediately switch to my pg to try to get back, and not only is the computer flying down court in sync, but my guard (with full stamina) won't run at all. I'm jamming the burst to get him to even jog, but if I don't push burst he's just walking up the court like he's injured. I can't make any adjustments to change this. I'm noticing a lot of situations where my players are doing whatever they choose, regardless of what input I'm giving them. Frustrating.

                                FYI:

                                Unless they changed something in the past three years, there is no "boost" as you guys put it. The shooter is simply considered "very open" which is why the shots go in more.
