Yes. Given the lack of the actual art changes last year we were promised, I'll believe tuners when I see it. I do think it's more likely we'll get fixes because it's easier to tune than make new heads, but still-- 2K has traditionally been spotty with post-release support: incomplete patches, sparse 2K insider blog updates/trends, roster updates coming in at a trickle after the lockout, etc. I would guess we might get one or two tuned updates and then it's off to 2K14 regardless of what else needs addressing. -
Re: CPU Offense question
Just had a 12min game against the Bulls CPU (All star - Sim). And It didn't actually fastbreak after every rebounds. Actually most of the time Rose jogged the ball up and started a play or a pick'n'roll or a post up.
Btw I outrebounded the CPU with the celtics (42 to 38, I had 10 offensive rebounds and the CPU had 7) but they scored 70 points in the paint. So sick.Last edited by Vni; 10-06-2012, 09:18 PM.Comment

Re: CPU Offense question
Go to coach mode and change your settings so you can see the plays being called.
I can reproduce the CPU calling plays on occasion after the free throw line upon a "failed" fastbreak time and time again. They will pull the ball out, call a play then shoot anyway. Just for clarification this is after a missed basket by the other team.
That's another topic entirely that grinds my gears, but I think the only accurate way to test the issue being reported is to watch CPU/CPU gameplay and see how both teams respond on missed baskets. User interference muddies the waters.Comment

Does anyone play 10+ minute quarters and still see the problem?Comment

Re: CPU Offense question
it was... not sure if it was placebo but the bug seemed a little less pronounced. regardless, the cpu was not running plays even with their slider @ 100 and my teammates don't run back to the defensive end the way they should - lebron got way too many dunks on me... not to mention the defensive control is horrible!Comment

Re: CPU Offense question
I'm on PC and have played 4-5 games on Pro/Sim. I haven't noticed this issue at all.
What difficulty level are you guys on?
Does the CPU appear to try to set up Freelance situations or is it just one player that's trying to do everything?
Has anybody tried setting the Coaching Profiles to 0 for the CPU team in Fast Break/100 in Call Plays and 0 for their team in Crash the Boards? What about setting the coaching strategy to "Constant Pressure"?
Has anybody seen this in CPU vs. CPU games? I've watched 4-5 as well and haven't seen any. I just came across this thread while watching a Lakers at Philly game and haven't seen it one time.
I've been getting very realistic stats in the games I've been playing and, besides from the playbooks needing to be revamped (thank you Vann), I've enjoyed the gameplay in all of them as well.Acts 2:38. Let the truth be told.

Re: CPU Offense question
wow, really? well consider yourself lucky. it's almost as though some people have a different version/build of the game. i play on pc and it happens every rip. i play on all star/default with nine minute quarters. i haven't tried adjusting the cpu's FB slider to zero, but i have cranked their run plays slider to 100 and get the same aggressive results. i have turned my crash boards to zero. if the cpu isn't able to push, they'll drive to the basket insanely aggressive or pass to a mismatch (which happens a lot because my mates don't get back on D). like pared said earlier in this thread, this did happen in 2k12, but it was nowhere near as bad and the cpu would kick the ball back out to the point and run a play.Acts 2:38. Let the truth be told.
