Re: the_future420's Simulation All-Star Sliders
played my first game with these. combining these w/ nogsters rosters made the game much much better.
that said, the computer still refuses to sub which is killing the game for me, along with the bad association rebound stats (since association is my favorite mode)
didnt write the stats down, but the Spurs (me) beat the Warriors 104-101. Ginobili hit a 3 with about 50 seconds left that put me up for good. Duncan was dominant with 37 points on 15 for 27 shooting, 10 boards and 7 assists. it seemed a little easy with him...but perhaps this is how it should be against golden state. Lamar Odom ate up GSW inside last year for god sakes. Ginobili had 24 on 9 for 20 shooting. All of their performances were within reason except Monta Ellis when for 22 points (on 9 shots, loved him driving and getting fouled) and 16 assists (a tad ridiculous).
I shot 48% on 85 shots, and GSW shot 51% on 87 shots. Both shot poorly from 3 (in the 20-30% range). They took 17 FTs to my 20, so that was fine. I had 42 points in the paint (fine). They had 74! Not fine. Not sure how to fix that one.
all in all i feel like if I could fix the sub problem and the association stats problem I'd be in the clearComment

Re: the_future420's Simulation All-Star Sliders
wow...i must really suck. playing my first game with these - i'm the blazers playing against the clippers. i only made it to HALFTIME and i'm losing 79-39...playing 11 minute periods.
clips: 29/53 for 54%
blazers: 16/53 for 30%
clips 6/12 3pt
blazers 3/11
clips 15/21 ft
blazers 4/6
ast: clips 13-10
turns: blazers 9-5
team fouls: blazers 13-4 (ugh...)
rebounds: clips 33-19 (they have 11 off and i have 4)
blocks: clips 7-2
pts in paint: clips 36-18 (i blew countless layups...)
the rest is a wash...
baron davis has 33 and 7 at halftime...camby has 15 boards
oden has 20 pts and 4 rebs for me
my defenders just stand there half the time and they never seem to be in the right position on team defense.STEELERS INDIANS CELTICS

Re: the_future420's Simulation All-Star Sliders
Hm that's weird, was toying with the sliders and noticed that if you have the ball handling slider anything below 40, the point guard won't use the "walk up the court" animation after receiving the in-bound.
Anyone else notice this too?Comment

Re: the_future420's Simulation All-Star Sliders
i noticed that 35 in close shot is really not enough, i will put it 42 for user and 38 for cpu... many times when im alone they missed incredible close shot, also when i turnover and im alone the player missed such incredible underhand....
another thing is OR and DR they can't stay 0, i put OReb to 25 and DReb to 75...
however this slider are the best, and very enjoyable....Comment

Re: the_future420's Simulation All-Star Sliders
Hey,frist thanks for these silders and the nogster roster, use both and got some great games. But I still gat a few issues:
1. I think close shot success is ok, no need to rase it. Maybe there are one or two open misses per game, but thats a good way for us users to try and create a shot.
2. Maybe im the only one, but isnt midum and three succsess a bit low? I miss many many open mid range shots and saw (in 8 games) only two go in with defense (standing, not jumping) nearby. With threes...I shoot around 30% every game, cpu as well, and thats with only 10 threes shot on both sides. Looks like the ai has somewhat the same fear shooting anything from the outside thats not totally free. With ~20 three attempts and 45% of the pints from made mid range's in the real nba, its somewhat strange to play. For example i play with miami, wade only made 5 or 6 shots in all 8 games but still scores 32 points per game with driving to the hoop. Maybe raising the shot succsess from three and mid will screw the stats with a 12 min qtr game, dont know jet. Maybe raise blocking a bit to increase the fear for driving to the hoop? Will see too much blocks at the beginning, but when you beginn to shot more maybe it will decrease. What do you guys think?Comment

I'll stop posting these after this one, cause it's probably annoying people. But I just blewout the Celtics with the Bulls. They couldn't hit a thing throughout the whole game and were held to 25 pts at halftime. All my starters this time sat out the whole 4th quarter this time.

I've seen a lot of box scores here with normal free throw attempts and I am really surprised. Anyone have any ideas why mine would be so low? I am gonna up the commit fouls and shooting fouls regardless, but I must be doing something wrong--lol. If I could get the free throws up, then that would put my ppg right at league average. PIP, though, still up there. Curious to know what everyone else's numbers are on that one.
Hope that helps...let me know how your numbers differ!!Arsenal | New York YankeesComment

It's not annoying, at least not to me. It helps us get a feel of how different teams that we may not play with, play. Feel free to keep posting your stats. I will have more to post myself later on.Arsenal | New York YankeesComment

Re: the_future420's Simulation All-Star Sliders
I gave these a try last night for one game I was the Rockets and I played at home vs the Spurs. The game was never really close as I led 84-63 after the third, Yao and TMac didnt even play in the 4th. The final score unded up being 100-86, one thing I noticed was Parker, Duncan, and Finley played the whole game. What is up with that?? Manu only played a total of 20 minutes and he was never in any foul trouble. The whole game seemed way too easy to score, I thought the Spurs would give me alot better game.
Here are the stats:

Re: the_future420's Simulation All-Star Sliders
Next game against the 76ers...again the cpu only tkes 4 three, me 10 (hit only 2, all wide open). Really anoying. PiiP are too much as always (60%,if not more), by me and the cpu...im really loosing hope here
To be more specific, only 17 from 81 shots where not from close range by the cpu.Comment

Re: the_future420's Simulation All-Star Sliders
future 420 i'm using firmly your slider but i want to give you an advice...
we know that we are playing in AllStar mode, so the cpu is already strong than the human...
in offense attribute, for me, you have to give a gap of 3 or 4 points more for the human, because the cpu is more perfect than a person to give a perfect shoot... i try many times with same settings cpu/hum but the % of FG were always 10 or 20 % more for cpu and it give the game statistic unrealistic... remember that a person easy wrong to tap a switch, the cpu no....Last edited by ravellron; 10-15-2008, 10:04 AM.Comment

Re: the_future420's Simulation All-Star Sliders
Just played 1st qtr of Heat (me) vs Knicks.
Heat 22 - Knicks 19
I'm not going to post all the stats, but the one that stood out to me was FG%...it was as follows:
FG% - MIA 8/24 (33%), NYK 7/25 (28%)
A bright spot, I was able to drive the lane and draw some good fouls with Wade, as I went 6/8 from the line in the 1st. But still, FG% is too low, as it was last night too in my PHX/DEN game...(seems to need some work, but i'm a keep truckin in this game).Arsenal | New York YankeesComment
