Re: the_future420's Simulation All-Star Sliders
Just played a game, everything checked out. Chicago vs Golden State. Deng lit me up for 32 points and Rose had 10 assists. I ended up losing 101-97.
Only things that seemed out of whack were ...
I shot 58% from three
PITP were a little high for the CPU, there was actually a point where I was getting really frustrated since the cpu was bounce passing the ball thru the heart of my D into the paint.
Turnovers seemed a little low, had 8 for Chi and 7 for me
They outscored me 20-8 on second chance points
The CPU had 25 fts to my 13
It was a really good game all around, but the two final stats were definitely the catalyst to my defeat. I'll keep testing these and see if these are reoccuring themes or not. Either way good sliders.Comment

Re: the_future420's Simulation All-Star Sliders
No offense, but I just got done playing a game against the Milwaukee Bucks and the 3-pt slider is just simply too high. I understand Michael Redd is a good 3-point shooter, but when the guy is 8-11 from the arc, their team shoots 50% from the arc, and MY team shoots 50% from the arc, the slider may need to come down ever so slightly. I'm considering maybe 44 (from 46). Just a suggestion.Comment

Re: the_future420's Simulation All-Star Sliders
I'm using Nogsters rosters & I'm having trouble w/ the players speed & skating. It seems as if the players r super quick & fast but move
sideways real jerky but not so much towards the hoop. Also, the Bigs down low seem to take jump hooks & such when they r open right next to the hoop but don't take it in strong to lay-up or dunk. PLEASE help me fix these w/ some slider adjustments. THANKS A MIL & PLEASE HELP!!psn: Kobe_8Mamba_24Comment

Re: the_future420's Simulation All-Star Sliders
I've basically spent today messing around with some sliders. I originally tried Aaron's sliders with default rosters. The games were pretty good and the stats were realistic and I like what he was trying to do. The game also played fairly realistically although there were too many missed easy shots. I then dloaded nogsters rosters and tried them on default allstar and with these sliders. I appreciate what you guys are trying to do, and I wish i had mroe positive feedback but I don't really. The stats are fairly realistic but the game just doesn't play right imo. Is just seems to me like you've just recreated the layup bug and there are way too many missed easy shots that should be made instead of actual defense being played. I'm just not feeling these sliders. I'm sorry. Playing with nogsters rosters on default allstar i played a game and shot 70%. IT was way too easy to score even though the cpu was playing fairly realistically. I then tried these and there was very little defense being played. I would upfake and they would bite or i would have plenty of room for a shot. I just didnt get that sense that i was missing because the other team was playing defense.Comment

Re: the_future420's Simulation All-Star Sliders
Just played a quick game with Nogster and portlandblazer's new Outsiders roster, extremely fun game on All-Star with 12 min quarters. I was up by as much as 10 at one point in the third but they made a serious run in the fourth, eventually widdling the lead down to one in the dying seconds of regulation and Nene turns the inbounds pass over for an easy Tyson Chandler layup for the lead! I was never so happy to lose a game by a player mimicking real life and doing something so unbelievably bone headed. Also an interesting side note, K-Mart turned the ball over to Peterson, only for JR Smith to take it right back. However once JR had control of the ball Peterson flopped to the floor and the refs called a charge! I was thinking "there's no way he got his feet set after scuffling for the ball like that" but in the end I actually liked how the refs in 2K make bull**** calls just like the ones in real life. Not sure if it had to do with the sliders or not but just something I felt I had to share =). Anyways, onto the stats.

The one glaring issue was obviously the points in the paint, I'm also extremely surprised that they only managed ONE bench point all game. Other than that, that was easily the best game I've had with 2K9 thus far.One man's perfect slider set is another man's rage quit.Comment

I have been playing with nogsters/ portland rosters and Futures sliders also, please comment on my issues:
1. Dunking - It seems that there arent ANY dunks unless you are on a breakaway.
2. We have to address the 3pt percentages and even midrange jumper percentage.
3. I think its really easy to get by my defender off the dribble
4. OFF COURSE PITP...theres still too many of them most of the time.
5. I cant seem to get ANY blocks either
6. Fatigue also...I play on Rotations...so my players get in and out regardless.
Has any1 else noticed these issues also. Lets discuss and try and make some changes.Comment

Re: the_future420's Simulation All-Star Sliders
yeh i had 1 good game with these then every game after has been trash, computer cant hold onto the ball, alot of turnovers, so i raised the hands up to 15 from 0. Yeh fatigue or lack there of is very present. Real rap since i've started using these I have noticed alot of crazy stuff, glitches that i've never saw present before. I saw the pg stuttering repeatedly and it wasn't a move, it was weird, i saw this skating thing for the 1st time....Hmm is it me or are you guys seeing the same.Comment
