So I don't like your FG and 3pt %. Love the low PiTP, but the BUCKS got 38 pts off their bench? wow...Arsenal | New York YankeesComment

Haha yea. Jefferson sat out the last quarter and I guess I spread the ball around a bit.

My players ALWAYS go up for a layup and when they dunk its a BREAKAWAY fast break. Future what do you suggest I do without sacrificing the realism?Comment

Re: the_future420's Simulation All-Star Sliders
I just played a game using these sliders...
DAMN, these worked GREAT!!!
It was only one game, but if the one game is any indication, these are the sliders to use. PERIOD.
Here are just some numbers:
Jazz(me) @ Suns
89 -Score- 88
37/83 -FG- 34/80
44% -FG%- 42%
4/16 -3pt- 6/12
25% -3pt%- 50%
11/15 -FT- 14/24
20 -Asts- 21
13 -TOS- 7
46 -Reb- 40
9 -O Reb- 6
7 -Stls- 6
7 -Blks- 3
34 -PIP- 50
2 -FBP- 12
Jazz
Deron Williams- 23 PTS, 9/22 (shot terrible in first half. 2/9 at one point), 9 rebs, 8 Asts
Carlos Boozer- 17 PTS, 8/14, 9 rebs, 2 asts, 1 blk
Mehmet Okur- 16 PTS, 8/15, 10 rebs, 0 asts, 4 blks ()
Suns
Leandro Barbosa- 23 PTS (in 29 min), 7/15, 4/7 3Pt, 3 asts, 2 reb
Steve Nash- 10 PTS, 7 asts, 5 rebs, 1/1 3pt
Amare Stoudamire- 10 PTS, 5/15, 9 rebs, 3 asts, 1 blk
THE ONLY THING THAT MESSED IT UP FOR ME WAS SHAQ.He was pulling up for deep two's just because he was left open sometimes. Other times, he would come off a pick and roll, get a pass and just shoot a jumper there as well. Didn't like that at all. Also, they went into SHAQ way too often IMO.
SHAQ's line- 15 points, 8 rebs, 2 asts, 2 blks, 7/21 shooting! That was more shot attempts than anybody else on the team. Second to only Deron for the entire game!
Don't know if that's Nogster's tendencies, the sliders, just the game, or some anomaly that just happened in this game.
But other than that, it played great. I was down 12 @ the start of the fourth and really had to buckle down and play good D and get good shots. I think I was down 19 at the most during the 2nd period where I cut it down to twelve at the half.
Took the lead in the last minute for the first time in the entire game. Scored 30 points to Phoenix's 17 in the fourth quarter. Deron and Memo really came to life knocking down jumper after jumper.
Deron hit a jumper from the top of the key with 5.4 secs left on the clock. Phoenix calls timeout. Inbound to Nash who hits Barbosa cutting off a screen. But Brewer comes from behind and pins Barbosa's lay up off the back board and the buzzer sounds.
GREAT GAME!
Definitely going to keep trying out these sliders.
I would have been pissed if they gave SHAQ the ball who then proceeds to shoot a 17 footer to win the game. PISSED.Comment

Re: the_future420's Simulation All-Star Sliders
I've had the same against the Clippers - either Camby or Kaman (depending on who I have more pressure on) will take a bunch of shots. Again a lot were LONG 2's for Camby.
To me that's not a real issue because if I'm playing the Clippers I don't want Kaman, Davis or Thornton taking a lot of shots, I'd rather Camby take long 2's and be out of the key for rebounds.Comment

Re: the_future420's Simulation All-Star Sliders
I dont really notice that problem. I have 'run play' at 100 and if my teammates do start to just stand around, i'll prob call a pick and rollComment

Re: the_future420's Simulation All-Star Sliders
So I guess from what I've read that maybe that is an issue.
I'm no slider guru, but after thinking about it, I think it may be because of the mid range tendency being so high. That's the only thing I can think of.
Because of them being so high, anytime a big man was left open because of his inability to shoot, he took it anyway because of the mid range tendency.
SHAQ should never, EVER, be taking anything outside of 8 feet. Camby is a little more understandable, but even he doesn't take the jumper every time he is left open. Ben Wallace taking jumpers, again because he is left open, further illustrates the point.
This was the only problem I had with these sliders. That and a small problem with the Suns going into SHAQ too often for my tastes.
I'll have to get another game in to see for sure.
But, that's just my feedback for you man. Other than that, everything else played great.Comment

Great question lol...I was wondering the same thing, it's like he backs up towards the basket, as opposed to towards his man with the ball.Arsenal | New York YankeesComment
