Here's what I'm running with (and many thanks to spencer for the base sliders!). You'll notice that the adjustments are subtle, but the largest ones are defensively in which I've ratcheted up defensive awareness to 100. It makes them play smarter. I lowered CPU commit fouls to 0 - they still commit a lot of them but at a more realistic clip. I don't like key guys getting into foul trouble early as that doesn't really happen in the NBA at the rate it was in with the original settings. Also, I like uniform shooting sliders for both teams. I've had a lot of fun with these settings and the numbers come out sim-like:

Well, what did you expect when you were the Lakers playing the Clippers? Your problems are easily adjusted as well. Just lower the shooting and rebounding sliders, maybe up defensive awareness or on ball defense.

i don't play association, so i'd advise using spencer's input on that.

one change: i upped the cpu commit fouls to 50. at 0 last night i played a strange game in which i was never fouled and only shot 4 total free throws. i might consider 75, but i'll take it in stages. i noticed that the close shots were being double-clutched, but no fouls were called on what appeared to be obvious hacks.

Yeah I guess so. I tried MK's sliders slight problems with the fouls but overall it was good. I'll try your suggestions. Do you got your own slider edits?

Jus wanted to say thank you very much for the sliders, best I've found yet. These do for 2k10 what bizcanos did for 2k7, if u ask me. Great games and realistic play, as realistic as you're gonna see out of 2k10 anyway. Thanks again.

I bumped cpu commit fouls to 50 and felt it was perfect. i also bumped all the user shooting attributes by 2 clicks up each - i was getting beat by 20 no matter who i played, shooting a terrible percentage. but maybe i'm just terrible.

i would admit that i'm really starting to hate this game... just not much fun looking for sliders.

Thanks for the sliders Spencer. This is the best slider i've used after so many other sliders i used and tweak. But men, this is truly AMAZING! This slider made me high when i used it at the very first time.

After so many tweaks in this slider, this slider made me very happy. The scores and field goals % are realistic.

I just have one question. What quarter length should i use if my score is too high in game of 12 mins per quarter? About 120+ per game.

                            Thanks again men!

Hope you do more good sliders.

did you guys hear about the new Gamestyle feature for NBA 2k11? There will be 4 different gamestyles. Default, Casual, Simulation, and Custom. Simulation will supposedly have 12 minute quarters and real life stat results.

Good news in my book. Hopefully now we won't have to make a bunch of drastic changes right from the get-go to achieve something that looks like real NBA basketball.
